The location is nice, close to the train station, the fish market, the Bryggen old part of the city, and the Fløyen mountain. I loved the variety of the breakfast, especially the provided shots of cod liver oil and lemon juice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. 🙂

The location is great, it is close to the city center and the train station so I walked everywhere. The reception staff were very friendly and told me I was given an upgrade so I got a bigger room with a larger bed than I expected. The breakfast was very nice with Norwegian options such as salmon as well as general breakfast items. Daily cleaning was good.

My room was on the street side, where there is a bar, so at night, sometimes there was some noise. I had my headphones, so it was not a serious issue. The chair in my room did not look very clean with some dust/stains.

Excellent location, walkable to light rail, bus, train, Havila ship port, and all sights of Bergen. Fabulous front desk staff, friendly and helpful. The newly refurbished rooms are wonderfully appointed (thank you for the upgrade!). The bed was sooooooo comfortable! Great breakfast buffet, especially liked the fish oil and lemon shots.

Not much the hotel can do about it, but my room looked across into window of I believe to be condos? As such, had to keep the curtains closed. Either way, not much of a view, unless you like to watch your neighbours. The room was recently remodeled, and was very nice, but weirdly a gross (dirtly) chair was left there. (see pic). It undermined the newness/niceness of the rest of the room. It was expensive, but welcome to Bergen!

This property is amazing!!! So clean and the rooms have lots of space, plus fridge for any food and drinks you want to bring. The staff very friendly and helpful, they let me drop my bags in a locked room while I explored Bergen before checkin. And the breakfast that was included in my rate was INCREDIBLE. Such a beautiful spread of food and drinks, it was quite gourmet!

I think to lock the door to your room, you have to turn the handle up, and I am not familiar with hotels so I didn’t realize at first. A small sign to show how to lock would be good for safety and comfort.

We came an hour earlier than check in begins, and our room was ready. Our kids got an ice-cream as a gift. The breakfast was really fantastic

I'm very tired of the hotels, that match at the Booking, that they have parking, but in reality they don't have anything. The nearest parking is 5 minutes by foot, but the real problem is, that there's no opportunity to stop near the hotel and upload the luggage. So you have to care all your suitcases, strollers, kids etc. on your back. Anyway if you travel with little luggage or without a car, this hotel is perfect for you

The hotel is centrally located, close to the Flybuss and Bybannen which connect Bergen with the airport. The property hasn't got anything posh - all is moderate but working. The staff at the reception and at the breakfast area are professional and personable. The Wi-Fi is excellent. The TV has a wide selection of TV channels. What is really outstanding is breakfast they serve - rich choice of food from cold to warm varieties.

The single room I had was small but cosy with plenty of light in it - cannot complain. The choice of drinks for breakfast could be better though. However, these minute things will not diminish the overall impression of the hotel. Would recommend it and will definitely stay there again.

Loved the breakfast options and the service staff during breakfast. Liked the fact that you believe in waste reduction and kept food out for us to eat during the day. Liked the storage closet and how safe I felt when leaving my belongings.

Leaving. I loved Bergen, the hotel and the staff. In terms of tv channels you could improve by adding CNN or BBC or ESPN. NOt a lot of channels just a few international news options.

The amazing breakfast spread was a wonderful start to the day. Everyone of the staff we encountered was beyond helpful and all expressed willingness to help if other questions arose later. Location was central to us walking from the train station but also within walking of attractions we were interested in.

Not much you can do about the lack of air conditioning; however perhaps a small fan might do the trick. Just what we are accustomed to, not a fault of the place.

Perfect location for visiting Bergen. Room was beautifully warm which was great because Bergen was very cold and wet! Good to be able to make tea and coffee in the room and the fridge was very handy. Although the room was small it was very comfortable and the view was fabulous. Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had in a hotel'

Room a little dated but that's just being very fussy. Some drawers would have been useful but we managed.

We're a family of 6 traveling together and we requested to get rooms on the same floor so we could have easy access to one another. Our request was granted and this made our stay extra enjoyable. Kudos to the staff who made this happen. The rooms were squeaky clean and the receptionists were super helpful and accommodating. Moreover, breakfast was a solid 10/10. The breakfast staff were lovely as well. What a great experience. Thank you, Scandic Byparken.
