Fantastic hotel for exploring the city- only a 10 minute walk from Oslo central train station which meant the airport train was so easy. Fantastic breakfast, cooked perfectly with lots of variety to suit everyone. Our flight was early coming home so we had a breakfast to go which was a nice touch: Sandwich, juice, fruit and yogurt. Due the the hotels central location we used it as a pit stop mid day to fill our water bottles and grab a coffee to go which helped with the budget. Extremely reasonably priced for an expensive city.

The only criticism would be the lack of cleaning- the rooms were clean but weren’t cleaned in our 3 night stay. The carpets on the corridors could do with a clean.

Excellent location. The staff was so polite. Absolutely adequate and tasty breakfast. Free tea and coffee amenities. The WiFi was good. Across the street, you can find a small grocery store. The train station is about 5-6 minutes from the hotel a pé..The city center, the parliament, the harbour, the kings palace, are so close - just on walking distance. From Oslo Gardermoen Airport, OSL just take the direct train to Oslo Central Station (Flytoget Express).

The bathroom needs urgent renovation. There were only 3-4 tv channels, which is a strange about international hotel in the capital of Norway. The street before the hotel, in the evenings and in the nights can be a little bit worrisome, due to of the homeless people and drugs addicted persons.

The staff at check-in was very friendly and efficient. The location is very central with good access to public transport. There included breakfast was amazing; you could have a full English, pastries, make a salad, try the different kinds of cheese and fruit,... It was quiet in the hotel so I did not get woken up by traffic/other guests (5th floor).

There was no ceiling light in the room itself, only in the entrance and bathroom. The standing lamp did not provide a lot of light. Opening the curtains felt a bit weird since people from the hotel across the street could look into the building.

I recently had the pleasure of staying here and I can't say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the entire stay. The staff was exceptional. They go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels comfortable and well taken care of. Whether it was the front desk staff who efficiently checked me in, the attentive concierge who provided invaluable local recommendations, or the friendly housekeeping team who kept my room immaculate, everyone contributed to making my stay truly memorable. Speaking of the room, it was a haven of comfort. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the room's design, from the plush bedding to the well-appointed amenities. I particularly appreciated the stunning view from my window (city centre street), which added an extra touch of magic to my mornings. The dining options here are a culinary delight. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of delicious options to suit all tastes, and the on-site restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delectable menu and impeccable service. The hotel's location is another major highlight. Situated right in the city centre, it provided easy access to most attractions and shopping street. I was able to explore the area effortlessly, knowing that I could return to the comfort at the end of a busy day. Overall, my stay was nothing short of exceptional. Every aspect of the experience, from the attentive staff to the comfortable accommodation, exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a remarkable and memorable stay. Thank you, First Hotel Millennium , for an unforgettable experience!

Slightly old building. Its not a deal breaker however.

The facilities were good and the beds very comfortable. Towels were provided, toiletries were provided and the staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great, only a ten minute walk to all the main places. Breakfast was superb. Plus we were able to drop bags for free when we arrived in the morning even though rooms weren’t ready.

If I’m being picky, the lighting was quite dim as it was only lamps and no main light. Wasn’t really much of a problem, but there you go.

The room was clean and small yet cozy. There was a bathtub in the large bathroom, and a large balcony overlooking the city. Facilities in general could use a little repair, but not a big deal. The breakfast buffet was amazing, high quality, delicious food. They even coordinate the time you want to eat to ensure enough food.

We got the requested adjoining rooms which was great. The bedrooms were comfortable and there was a wide choice for breakfast which was tasty.

On the day we were leaving, for an unknown reason, breakfast started an hour later than advertised. We had a 5 hour train journey booked so had no option to delay our departure. We were given a take away breakfast which was a nuisance to carry and a poor substitute to what we were expecting to have at the hotel. After experiencing a great breakfast the day before we were sorry to have missed out.

The hotel was very nice. The location is perfect - there’s buses and trams next to the hotel, as well as a few shops and bakeries. It took us 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Central Station or the Opera. The breakfast was vast and delicious and the staff is very friendly.

The room itself was nice and had everything we needed, but it’s on the older/ more classic side. The bathroom would need some renovation, but it’s not in a bad condition. Overall there’s nothing we could complain about.

It was centrally located so easy to walk around. It had a lift which is a plus on the fifth floor.

Minor things really. The cord for the kettle had to be plugged in on the floor since the cord wouldn’t reach, the bathtub didn’t have a plug (I always bring one), there was no stirrers or spoons to mix instant coffee, cream, etc. and the breakfast room coffee machine didn’t work, and all they could offer was instant coffee packets. The breakfast offered hot and cold choices but not much fruit.

We only stayed one night en route to the north, but the hotel was in easy walking distance of the central train station and close to the harbour area. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is a bit old fashioned but everything was clean and worked well. We checked out before breakfast and were given a grab bag to take to the airport which was helpful considering the prices... Would stay here again
