Overall I had a great experience. The location was superb, right in front of all the main attractions. The self-check-in and self-check-out system via an app was convenient and efficient 👍🏼 The room was spacious, modern, and well-equipped with a small kitchenette, including a dishwasher, oven, and sink, which was a pleasant surprise. The cleanliness and comfort of the room, especially the bed, were top-notch. Revier Hotel is still a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Oslo, offering a pleasant stay with its excellent location and well-appointed rooms!

Cleaning is not included, which it is not normal for 4 stars hotel. Regarding breakfast at the bar, there were limited options available. It is not a buffet but A la Carte ( 5 choices only ) .The Norwegian specialty breakfast, which I found to be just okay, and an alternative selection that included avocado /halloumi toasts. Despite the average Norwegian specialty breakfast, I enjoyed the other choices available. However, it was a bit disappointing that the cappuccinos were not included 👎🏼

Breakfast was very expensive by North American standards; as most were in Scandinavia. The Breakfast Plate option was huge, however, and kept us going all day. Their bar on the roof looked really nice; the attached restaurant, NullNull, had excellent Italian food. It was great to be able to relax 'at home' for dinner. We were moved to a studio apartment, which was very well lit and lovely. Very modern . Helpful staff to get you to the luggage room to keep your stuff until the room was ready. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

The first room we were given on the courtyard side was a few floors up from a 5 ton air conditioner for a property nearby. Quite noisy. We would not have been able to keep the windows open. The cleaning could have been better. The counters were not completely wiped clean, and a cabinet door in the kitchen was a bit sticky. You need an app to stay here. It may be glitchy....I would prefer to register with a person.

Beautifiully designed, warm interiors. Very nice central location and close to most attractions. Very helpful and nice staff. Food was also good.

So much! This cannot be categorized as a hotel! This is mostly serviced rooms. They charge you for house keeping, and everything is self service, and the worst part is that the hotel shuts down early, and there is no access to the rooms/ Lobby unless you have an app downloaded, which doens't work most of the times. What if your phone dies! They basically told me you will be locked out of the hotel, and there is nothing they can do. Internet connection needs to be better with coverage to the sidewalk so you can use it for scooter rides.

The building was fantastic and very modern. At the reception there is also the bar where you can relax and stay for a while, in a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. At the terrace they have every evening some event, which facilitate the guests to know each other and to enjoy some drinks. Wifi was excellent, the room as well had very nice style and beautiful. Check-in and check-out were easy, everything is working via their app on the smartphone

Only two details were not excellent, one was that the room in the beginning of our stay didn't have a good smell probably due to bad ventilation or other, the second was that the room sometimes gets quite cold despite the heating on. But the rest of the time was great and didn't have any other problem during the stay.

Modern trendy design, clean, well sized rooms, close to city centre, shopping, sightseeing locations. The staff on site and online customer service very nice and polite. Lounge bar very nice with good service for both breakfast and drinks. Overall good value for money!

No gym, pool or other facilities common for 4 star hotels. Check in is done online, so unlikely that you will receive your room before 4pm. We had to leave for the airport very early in the morning, and the lifts were not working as the lobby was closed, so we had to drag huge suitcases downstairs. There is no daily room cleaning (not sure if that’s 4 star standard), but towels and other supplies are available to take yourself if needed.

the key situation is a little temperamental and I’d have probably preferred a normal key card vs having to use your phone all the time which often takes a few attempts. the rooms need blinds (or at least those facing the internal courtyard) we were only a few metres from rooms opposite and could see right into 4-5 rooms meaning you had to keep the curtains closed at almost all times if you wanted any privacy which is a shame , particularly in the morning when you get up and want natural light in the room.

The check in process was simple and very efficient. A couple of days prior to our arrival we received an email with a step by step arrival process. And a link to Att app. After downloading the app and upon arrival you will receive a code and your room details. Now for the clever bit. Once your app is up and running your phone becomes your entrance and room key. The lifts ate code locked so you open your app and hold your phone to the reader on the lift and it unlocks. Same process to gain access to your room. The room was immaculately clean and well presented with all the things you would expect from a modern hotel. There was also a storeroom on our floor, I assume there is one on each floor. This was available and had all the spare things you may need, even down to toothbrushs flannels, vanity packs, towels even extra glasses and also milk, sugar etc. A sign was put up asking guests to help themselves to anything they needed but to be considerate and remember that other guests my need things also. There was also spare toilet roll available in there too. Another room was a recycling room with every recycling bin you could imagine. We thought this was a very nice touch and most useful. Entrance was through the attached restaurant during opening hours and through a side door after hours. The restaurant was open until around 1am but to be honest we hardly heard any noise from it at all. We stayed for 2 nights during a tour of Scandinavia and could not find any faults with the room at all. There was one fault that was the lift used after hours was broken on our visit but we luckily found the other one. Out of hours access includes a small flight of stairs so I couldn't comment on wheelchair access. This may be available elsewhere in the property. I am happy though to give this property a solid 10 as we never came across anything but positive things from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I think more hotels should try this model.

Nothing to complain about to be totally honest except the lift being out of order on our arrival. I'm sure this issue would have been resolved within a matter of days. We didn't see obvious wheelchair access though that doesn't mean that there isn't any.

Loved staying here, felt more private and quieter than a hotel. No dailyhouse keeping which I preferred and liked that you can easily replenish supplies yourself from the supply room. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable with amazing rainfall shower. Had everything you need in the room, including a clothes steamer, good hairdryer, smart TV and nice seating area. Ps. The place also smelt very nice and fresh throughout. Breakfast is good and worth paying extra to include with the room.

Nothing major. My room didn't have an outside window and the window faced on to the bar, so not alot of natural light. Bedside light flickering in room 206 but overall a great stay and will stay again 😁

The hotel room was very nice and spacious! Like the decoration. Very good location! Room and floor was very clean and very well kept! Was able to accommodate early check-in which was great for us! High tech hotel too! All done via an app - including check-in, room access and check-out,

Well nothing not to like! Just a minor thing on the lift access to level 1 stopping after certain hours. It was mentioned in the app - but it may be more helpful to list it as a special notice - as I was a little puzzled when I try to take the lift at 5.30 am for an early morning walk.

It was super comfortable and the room was a really good size. It was also centrally located which made it easy to walk to lots of places.

Accessibility. The entry ways only had stairs and there were no visible ramps. Also, when the bar is closed the elevators don't run, so I had to carry my heavy luggage down stairs and then the exit door also only had stairs. If you have any accessibility needs or a lot of heavy luggage it can be difficult.
