The breakfast was nice. Don't leave your food outside, though, because huge seagulls seemed to know when people were having breakfast. 😀 The location is close to the busy touristy street and the central station. The staff was friendly.

I cannot say enough about the friendly staff at this hotel! My husband, baby and I arrived very early (4 hours early) for our checkin and our room was not ready yet. We unfortunately all caught a stomach bug and we’re feeling very poorly, so the very kind staff put us up in the restaurant and offered us water and whatever we needed to make us comfortable and had our room ready in 30 minutes! Their kindness was very much appreciated. In the morning when we were feeling a bit better we were very pleasantly surprised to find an amazing breakfast spread (probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve seen and at a budget hotel nonetheless). Highly recommend. Great location close to the central train station and 15 min walk to the ferry. No frills hotel with everything you need.

The lobby is a bit tight.

The breakfast was excellent. The management thought everything you can think of. We met the chef at the restaurant area and thanked him. The refreshments available next to the lifts were really nice. The hotel is in a perfect location. It is on one of the streets opening to the Karl Johans Street and 5 minutes walk from the Central Station.

The rooms here are a bit cozy and slightly smaller than expected. But still, more spacious compared to those in typical three-star hotels across Paris. I hadn't pack any body cream with me, assuming it would be provided alongside shampoo and conditioner, yet, to my disappointment, it was not. But this is a minor inconvenience when you think excellent amenities and services this hotel has to offer.

Good location, just in the city center. 3 minutes walk from Central Train Station (direct connection to airport). Safe area. Nice staff. Quiet room. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Good wifi. Really good breakfast, a buffet with many different kinds of food like Full Irish breakfast, many juices, many kinds of bread, vegetarian food, many fruits, olive oil, good coffee, have breakfast on the terrace or interior, from 6:30 on workdays from 7:30 on weekends. I like that the hotel borrows an umbrella during your stay in Oslo. For Oslo, it is an excellent price.

The room and the bathroom are small. However, they are comfortable. No blinds in the windows, curtains are good but when June is 24 hours day is challenging to sleep.

We stayed here during a long weekend break in Oslo. We had a twin room and it was very comfortable, good quality bedding. The included breakfast was the highlight, huge variety of meats, cheeses, fruit, cooked items etc., well presented and very tasty. The hotel is located within walking distance of Central Station and less than a minute from the main street. Staff at reception were very helpful. We had a very early morning flight departure, before breakfast service but they made up a takeaway breakfast for us. I would have no hesitation staying at a Thon hotel again.

Was allocated room 307 which apparently was last Queen room. Reception staff said room is small. He wasn’t joking. More like a broom cupboard. Certainly not a room for a couple. Only one side out of the bed. Bathroom small. No room to dry yourself. Sat on toilet and knees touched the door. Nowhere to put your toiletries inside bathroom. To be fair they did say if we were not happy, go to reception next day to see if larger room available. We could have done this but as only two full days there we didn’t want to mess up one day sorting it out. Was the only disappointment to an otherwise nice stay.

In all the hotels we’ve ever stayed in throughout Europe and in the USA, the breakfast here was the best. An unbelievably outstanding choice of good quality dishes, cooked food, breads, cereals, fruit, juices, dairy produce, cold meat, cheese - just too numerous to list. It also caters for every dietary requirement - lactose free, gluten free, vegan. The location was great, just a few minutes walk to the station and the centre of town.

Can’t think of anything major. Maybe to include English Breakfast tea bags in the room instead of just Earl Grey and fruit teas., it wasn’t a problem as we were able to help ourselves to the complimentary tea and coffee at reception.

Pople first, very kind and hel[ful reception poeple. Breakfast was the best we ate in 13 days in Norway. Location is outstanding, in the real heart of Oslo. Rooms were OK, bathrooms a bit small but really fine. Beds were very comfortable. We took a twin room and a family room. The latter was excellent with 4 sleeping places and well orginized. Breakfast, location and reception helpfulness get straingth 10 from us.

One of our rooms was facing technical court of the hotel, and just next to Laugage room, we had some noise at 07:30 one morning when lauggage was loaded there. Can happen in any hotel. Lobby is a bit small, and as gorups keep coming was a bit crouded. Probably due to hotel popularity and the high season.

The location was wonderful for us. It was a short walk from the train station and was ideally located for catching buses and trams to places that we wanted to visit. The staff at the reception desk were courteous and very helpful, answering our questions and making suggestions for places we might want to see while we were in Oslo. They also called us a cab on a rainy day so that we wouldn’t get too wet way to dinner. Breakfast was delicious with many hot and cold choices including vegan options.

The view from our hotel windows was not what we had hoped for and the location of the television set so close to the bathroom door frame was a bit awkward and made it easy to bump into.

Perfect location near the main street and “everything”. Very delicious breakfast. Very clean and quiet.

Service was 🙂 and 🙁. Cleaning ladies were smiling and friendly. Receptionists were very different. The boy who greeted me in the first evening (12.07)was really nice and recommended where to eat and the other things. The boy who was at work for example on 14th of July was really rude and didn’t even know where to buy a transport card and it was obvious that he was not interested in helping or talking with the customer at all….
