Location of the hotel is excellent next to the town hall and at short walking distances to the main attractions or public transportation. The room size is rather small (clearly informed on the website) but reasonable; luckily the bath room is of normal size. The buffet breakfast is versatile and good. The personnel is super helpful.

Honestly,, nothing permanently negative popped up that were not known beforehand (room size in particular). There was a pressure problem of shower, most likely reparable.

The staff is really amazing. They were on point all the time for everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, location was incredible.

Only one thing bothered us, we booked a double bed room, it's even in the description 1 double bed 130-150 cm wide. Instead we got 2 single beds. When asked the staff, they said that they don't have double beds, it's all single one that are separated or put together. So, this is bad advertisement, I never book a place when I know it's single beds.

The nightstands by the bed are not what I would describe as functional. It would be better to have a plain, flat surface so placement of phone charging and a glass of water would have a better balance. I did not realize that breakfasts were not included, which was a surprise, especially for the rate per night. I did not have the need throughout the week but on the last morning, I wanted to grab something small for breakfast and that is when I found out. I was surprised that I was not offered some sort of complimentary voucher. I don't eat that much :)

Location is the best !! Next to harbour, city centre, palace and national theater. Central station is 10 min. walk. Checked in at 22:00 to arrive at 01:00, got an email how to self check in, but the guy from the reception waited and helped us anyway. We had the economy twin (last room on the site), but I found the room better than most more expensive rooms anywhere else (especially city centre). Lovely modern bathroom (good hot douche !!) and I love the black & white photo wall. Rooms are also very quiet.

Very good location, every interresting attractions are from walking distance (city hall, Nobel museum, harbour, sea promenade, etc). Clean and modern room, bathroom. Excellent reach breakfast, cold and warm dishes, fruits.

The check-in and check-out are self-made, not too easy to me but very practic. Small economy twin room was very-very small. For single use it is OK but in couple... Norway is an expensive country of course. But with this room price at list a kettle with tea and nescoffe should be in the room. Or a daly free coffee/tea maker in the lobby.

The staff here are great. Friendly and helpful. Check in and check out is fast and easy. My room was perfect for a solo traveller or for a couple. The bathroom functioned well and was very clean. The rooms a/c and lighting worked well. The beds are excellent. I didn't wake up having to change positions during the night due to a hard mattress which was good. Rooms are quiet. Free breakfast is always a bonus. The hotel served a good variety of hot and cold offerings. I purchased dinner here a few nights and enjoyed the meal,it was delicious! The hotel has employed very good chefs. The bar staff are great. Very friendly and courteous and have a good work ethic. The location of the hotel for a tourist is ideal. It is close to the Central train station. It is also close to the waterside, bars and restaurants. I recommend this hotel for location,value for money,great staff and the good atmosphere.

Great buffet breakfast if you pay the extra. Unlimited tea and coffee available at other times. Comfortable beds in the room. Location was fantastic less than 5 minutes to city hall and 15 to Central train station. Staff we met were friendly and polite. Self service checkin kiosks were extremely useful and meant no queue for check in.

Room was a conjoined room with the middle door locked and the noise at night was at times incompatible with sleep. There is no front desk so you rely on the bar and restaurant staff to help you with any issues. Rooms temperature control was either extremely hot or cool there was no middle ground.

The whole experience at this hotel was top notch. The room was spacious and comfortable and you can NOT beat the location. Almost everything I planned to do was within walking distance. There were amazing restaurants nearby and tons to see and do. I was attending for Pride and it was two blocks from this hotel. I can't say enough about how well this leg of my trip went. I am a VERY happy customer and will recommend this hotel in a heart beat.

The only thing better would have been the Miracast streaming set up on the TV for my downtime.

The location was perfect! Right at the centre, very close to a metro station and several bus stops, as well as to several of the museums and places of historical interest. The breakfast had several choices that could cater to anyone. I had seen that people criticised the size of the economy rooms (which was what I had chosen) but I thought the room was of a decent size for what I paid and what was advertised.

Heating/cold air was coming through the aircon and that was a bit loud. The bed was also a bit on the narrow size (and tall people might also find it short - it was ok for me, but I am short).

This is a very smart, modern hotel. The bed was comfortable, facilities adequate and everything was very clean. The breakfasts were excellent. The location was great - a short stroll to the waterfront, train station and town centre.

The communications with the hotel could have been better. We sent so many messages without getting a reply that we started to wonder if it had gone out of business. There are no reception staff so check-in and out is electronic. It is straightforward but missing the personal touch. We booked a small economy double room, which was fine for 3 nights but if you were of a very large build, you might find getting into bed a little difficult!
