Breakfast was very generous and varied, the last two days a buffet. The location could not be better. We walked from there to restaurants and the old soup as well to hikes, to the Sultan palace area, etc. After trying a few, we always went to the restaurant closest to the hotel (on the left looking at the hotel) where they know how to cook seafood. Oman has a lot to offer in terms of warmth and friendliness of people, spectacular natural sites (wadis, coastline, high mountains) and historical sites (forts, castles, palaces, etc). Even the modern architecture is in general much nicer as in other countries as it always includes classical elements. Hardly any high rise buildings which ruin the panorama. We went three non consecutive days on a trip with an outstanding guide Salim S Al Maawali from the Miracle Oman agency. He has an engineering degree from UK, is very knowledgeable about history, nature, modern developments, etc. We had endless, very interesting conversations about the Oman culture and many other topics. He is also an excellent driver.

A bed table lamp would be useful. There is continuous noise from the car traffic. This is a problem the state should tackle as there is no reason why the through traffic should go by the corniche. Then, the corniche would become a fantastic walk. They should also have more pedestrian crossing where old Muscat is (there is only one). Taxi don't have a meter, always ask before the ride how much it is to the location you want to reach: e.g. 7 Rials to the Grand Mosque, 10-12 Rials to the airport.

You can't ask for a better location in Muttrah. You can watch the sunrise over the corniche, have a 5 minute walk to the fish market and the Souq, while having a coffee shop within the hotel. The rooms were spacious and had all of the essentials. Everything is wheelchair accessible and easy for bringing luggage in and out. Very accomodating with fresh towels and plenty of water. All of the activities we wanted to do in the city were a short 20 min drive or less. You are nicely located to get to the mountains in every direction.

The only thing that needs improved at this property is the breakfast, it was included but the food was not very good. If you are expecting an all inclusive resort this is not it. Simple and you get what you pay for.

Staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Nothing was ever a problem. I had a great view from my room looking over the harbour. Coffee and kettle in room was nice. Free bottled water each day. Room cleaning staff were just so nice. AC was good.

Restaurant staff were really friendly and always smiling. Breakfast was disappointing as it was the same breakfast every day with no variation and no choice. Omlette, 2 chicken sausages, 2 hash browns, 2 slices of toast, butter, jam and cheese spread. Glass of juice, yoghurt and coffee, bowl of cut fruit all for 5 rial. Why not cereal, or boiled/poached eggs. Why no cold buffet style like in some other hotels. Same breakfast every day becomes boring very quickly. Otherwise ok.

The staff are very helpful. The location means it's only a short walk to the souk and other sites. There's a variety of restaurants and coffee shops ose by. There's a bus stop for route 4 just outside the hotel so you can get to sites along the corniche and to Ruwi bus station for the bus to the airport. The rooms are tiled and spotless. They seem to have done a complete redecoration and upgrade since the Lonely Planet reviewer stayed.

Nothing.

Very convenient location. Nice breakfast. Room a bit small but well equipped and cozy

Difficult to park very close to the hotel as you need a specific app to pay, but free parking was possible a bit further away. Some requests through the booking.com messaging did not work, and the official email did not work, so I had to call the hotel and ask for another direct email.

Absolutely fantastic location. Whether you want to visit the famous Souq or go for a nature walk in the mountains adjacent to Muscat - it's all within walking distance. Nice cafe overlooking the Corniche at the hotel premises. Interesting, fusion breakfast buffet, targeted towards the western tastes but with an oriental touch. Tea kit in the room, clean bathroom, good WiFi, quick check-in. Recommended!

Parking is a bit tricky. The public parking in front of hotel is paid and the only way to pay is via SMS, which seemed difficult for a visitor. There is free parking but somewhat further - within walking distance, but not with bigger luggage. Our windows overlooked a narrow and dull street with tailoring and laundry shops. Not an issue for us, but if you are looking for a neat balcony view, then maybe it's not the best place. Also the room was not ready at the specified check in time (2pm) but rather about one hour later. Well ... usually this is not that important for us, but this one time we had plans somewhat relying on early check in and we had to improvise to make them work...

We arrived quite early in the day due to our flight and were able to initially store luggage which was helpful. We then were able to check in early and were given a room upgrade which gave us quite a good view of the surrounding mountains. The room wasn't huge but was comfortable and the shower was really good. Breakfast was served in the cafe downstairs and was very nice, with a good selection and everything tasting fresh. The location is great, right on the corniche, with easy access to everything in Muttrah and a bus stop and taxi stand right outside to get to Old Muscat.

It was all good

Literally everything. I have had a seaview room, I have arrived early and they were able to accommodate me straight away. Its a 15 minutes bus ride away from Ruwi station (by bus 4, costs you 0.3 rial or 300 basha) which connects to the airport with the super quick A1 service (costs also only half rial or 500 basha) or with a service 1 which can bring you to all of the main sites of Muscat (Grand Mosque, Opera House etc). The hotel located in the Cornish and Souk ofthe old city, breathtakingly beautiful. Reception was nice and kind at all times, luggage store for free, the breakfast was really tasty too, room was cleaned immaculately. Minimalist room design, but comfortable bed and bathroom is also nice.

Nothing I can think of.

Hotel situated on Mutrah Corniche, at a few minutes walk from the souq. Simple, comfortable room with sea view (room 401) : fridge, TV, boiler, tea, coffee Very friendly staf. Nice breakfast: eggs, sausage, hash brownie, yoghurt, toast, jam, butter, coffee Room is somehow pricey

A/C was quite noisy ; TV: only Arab channels Wall under the a/c should be cleaned

Wonderful location overlooking the Bay. It's very close to the Corniche and the Souq or Market Area. Lots of shops - cafes and restaurants nearby. The Bus Number 4 has a stop at the Hotel Gate - if you want to avail local bus service to Ruwi or Al Alam Palace. The Bus is real good and a very cheap option to explore few places at Muscat. From hotel by walking you can have a real good orientation of the Old City Restaurant has a cafe and breakfast served was quite good. Rooms nice and comfortable. Reception extremely helpful. Highly recommed Naseem Hotel for your stay at Muscat. Choose the Bay or Sea View Front Rooms.

The Bathroom floors and Room floors seems bit slippery when you walk bare foot. I would request management to look into it.
