From check-in, although we asked if we can be on the high floor, the reception gave us low floor room, which was okay. Apart from this, all the staff were commendable, housekeeping Suraj, he was very generous and tireless although we asked to clean our room and changed the sheets almost everyday. From the breakfast buffet staff, Mina was accommodating and attentive to us, everytime we ate breakfast, he always finds time to have a little chitchat with us and make sure everything was the best! And he offered to give us early food for breakfast since unfortunately we can't have our last breakfast buffet coz our flight was very early on that day. Keep up the good quality of service!

When we came to the room, there were no bath robes and hair dryer but when we called in, they were quick to give us those things. The pool was not suitable for us, it looked kinda not clean coz we went during the Eid holidays so we were met with many guests also which was understandable. And there was one night maybe on a weekend, it was very noisy, since we were on a low-room floor we can hear the party noise from the outside which was a bit difficlut to sleep on that night. In addition, there was one time when we came back to our room, there was water dripping from the ceiling but otherwise the rest of the services should be expected from a 5 star hotel

Everything was extremely well prepared and my stay was comfortable throughout. The staff in all areas were a delight. I had breakfast and dinner included and both the amount and variety of the food was exceptional. The facilities were great and I enjoyed both lounging by the pool and the gym offering, as well as downtime in the bedroom. Booking a tour of the Daminyat Islands through to concierge was also an easy process. Location was fine, easy to get to nice places like Muttrah, but you have to be prepared to use taxis regularly as opposed to finding things in easy walking distance. The Sheraton is well placed in this regard, as it is right next to a main highway.

I think the concierge can be improved as having just one person on the desk, with partly limited English, is not the most effective way to run the service. For example, I had to ask questions about alternative day trip experiences and there was ‘on the spot’ maths done to work out costs. Having a catalogue of experiences, showing their costs and reference imagery & details, would be an easy way to navigate language barriers and give easy information to travellers.

It is our first time visiting Oman with my wife and two children (ages 11 and 10 years) for a family vacation. I booked a deluxe room (guest 1 King room) with a half board meal, and the price for three nights was quite reasonable compared to other 5-star hotels. Both the check-in and check-out processes were seamless. Customer service representatives were excellent; some were Omanis who value you and are willing to go above and beyond to exceed our expectations. The room was spacious enough to move around comfortably with relaxed bedding, well-designed furniture, and modern amenities (including a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and safe). The attached bathroom was clean, with a good shower, quality toiletries, and fresh towels. Additional touches like complimentary bottled water, bathrobes, slippers, and a turndown service enhanced our overall experience. The staff were respectable, professional, responsive, and dedicated to creating a positive and memorable experience for us. Lastly, the food was terrific, with an excellent taste and many varieties in the breakfast buffet (not the same menu every day but with some new additional items) and dinner buffet. I requested a BBQ not included in the dinner buffet, but the chef brought us a generous plate of lamb BBQ, which was terrific. Wednesday night was Lahore-Dehli night, which was catered with mouth-watering and amazingly delicious food with lots of varieties, pani puri, chat, pakora, samosas, BBQs both chicken and beef, haleem, nihari, paya, 8-10 dishes of chicken and meat gravies, biryani, pulao, white rice, few dishes of vegetables, and around 10-12 varieties of sweet dishes, including gulab jamun, jalebi, gajrela, umm e ali, kheer, pudding, custard and shahi tukray, and endless soft drinks. I thank all the staff, especially customer service rep Ali and Chefs Shoaib, Zain ul Abedeen, Masooma, and Krishna, for taking good care of us, and making our visit memorable and eager to return.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Only a 20 min drive from the airport. We have a 2 year old and 3 year that absolutely loved it. The outdoor pool area was really nice for them. Also the evening themed dinners waere fantastic. They had an Omani night and a lohori/Delhi night. Most of all though, staff are extremely guest focused, very friendly. Chef Talal was great in catering for the kids and the restaurant manager/supervisor was great in helping to get the kids to eat. Cars are cheap to rent so definitely do that before your travel. Some of the closer places to see are Muscat national park, beautiful in the evening, really big but has a a little fun fair inside and a lovely restaurant but really big. Muscat grand mosque is also a short drive, as is qaboos souk. A day trip to Nizwa also recommended, about 1.5 hour drive from the hotel. Loads of local hypermarkets that are at least a 4min drive, and are very well priced with so much available. Your standard McDs, Pizza hut, KFC etc are also a stone throw away but we preferred the local restaurants instead. Lovely stay, and only made better with the amazing staff at Sheraton. Hotel was also very very clean!

Large room, space to store our stuff. Rooms are not noisy even if the highway is very close. Breakfast was good, we enjoyed eggs corner and fresh fruit juice. we enjoyed having dinner outside even if the table was too small for our family of 5 ! Good outdoorr dinner with the indian and the arabic evening. Pool area : Not so many sun beds but we found a few each time The hotel shop is great.

The restaurant was too cold, no table for 5 .... bread was just ok The king bed was made of 2 matress but was moving a lot when my husband was moving during the night ! We didn't like customers smoking around the pool.

Arrived here after 4 flights and 34 hours travel. Booked a room for 3 people, so a bit disappointing to find only 1 double bed and no rollaway, extra towels, crockery etc for the 3rd person. Took a number of trips from housekeeping etc to sort it out. Beds very comfortable, bathroom OK (don’t really like a shower over the bath) size of room is fair, Nespresso coffee machine, lovely pools (indoor and outdoor) spa, sauna, gym, steam room. Easy parking. Breakfast was very good. Lovely large selection. Very responsive staff as at breakfast, I completed a feedback form and before we left the dining area, a member of staff came and addressed the issues such as no extra bed, towels, tea/coffee etc. We were coming back to Muscat for 1 more night after a road trip and were booked somewhere else, so decided to give them another go on our return. We were greeted like friends on our return and had one more night in the Sheraton. One difficulty we had was actually locating the hotel and initially took us a number of attempts as the GPs did not recognize the difference between the elevated flyover and the hotel which was under and off to the side. This did cause a number of frustrations and so therefore another reason to return to the same hotel as we had already mastered locating it.

The rollaway bed and extra supplies were not set up and supplied when we got there. We had been 34 hours getting there, so would have been nice if this had been done. Also housekeeping did not bring all that was asked for and it took them a number of trips to get the job done. Just a little difficult to find as GPS does not recognise the elevated flyover road, but this is not the hotels fault.

Nice sized rooms but a little dated shower above the bath not a walk in shower. Breakfast was excellent lots of choices however at £16 per person price was a little steep Restaurant menus where fine and fairly priced Outside pool was lovely Inside pool ok good gym facilities Checking in staff and restaurant staff where very friendly however they did keep asking my daughters friend his room number assuming that because his skin was a different colour he was not part of our group. Check out was not a simple process and took over half an hour as their system said we owed another £100 eventuality admitted there was a fault in their system after trying to say it was the fault of the staff member who checked us in who had not charged us enough. I felt the member of staff checking us out was actually quite rude no apology offered for their mistake and left us with a disappointing experience to end our stay

Especially the spa center and swimming pools are excellent. Special thanks to the following people for very good service, Front desk: Mr. Mohammad House keeping: Mr. Meraj *(His exceptional towel art skills made our stay more enjoyable. Exceptionally good service) Mr. Goupi, Mr. Sureesh the supervisor and Ms. Leah the manager Restaurants: Mr. Robert (very good at his work and good interpersonal skills) Ms. Sabrine (very good at her work and good interpersonal skills) Mr. Partiosh, Asado restaurant (professional and well trained) Swimming guards: Mr. Sameh Mr. Hareth Spa: Ms. Paphada, the masseur

The restaurants and bars timing and menu are a bit limited. Closing at 11pm-12am, and the same food and beverage menu in all their establishments, except a different good food menu at the Asado steakhouse. But the steakhouse timing is only from 7 to 11 pm.

fast lift, great outdoor pool, quite a good view, very comfortable bed, quiet, mostly good quality food in buffet at breakfast, helpful staff. Nice other guests. Most importantly, a sense of comfort and pampering.

imes waiting staff sometimes a bit inattentive, sometime too invasive, poor waiter service at pool, very cold aircon in shower/changing rooms at pool. Confusion/ poor coordination between reception staff and housekeeping.

The staff at this hotel is absolutely lovely. They made fresh mint tea for my partner at breakfast on demand and always had a smile on their face. The spa was super too. We had massages there and the ladies give the best massages. Rooms were very comfortable and quite luxurious. They also let us have a late check out for free, thank you so much !

The Omani buffet was a bit disappointing. We felt the price was high for the quality and variety of the food on offer.
