A spacious, well-equipped room with a bath as an unexpected bonus. It was good to have a choice of restaurants (Omani/Persian, Gastro-pub, Italian, Buffet restaurant, Edge) so we could change where to eat during our stay without leaving the hotel. The advertised shuttle service has a very limited schedule but the 24/7 taxi service with cars immediately available more than made up for this. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient.

I'm not a fan of music being played all day around the pool, I prefer to listen to birds, the sea etc. but having said that the style of music played wasn't too intrusive. In the evenings, however, there were often events on the bottom lawn where the noise from the PR system was unnecessarily loud. I don't need to know which employee has won what award at a corporate event when I'm on holiday! I particularly disliked the live music that was played on our last night (Tuesday 20th) - we couldn't sit on our balcony as it was so loud. Also, planes going over as they came into land was unfortunate but there's nothing the hotel can do about this.

The breakfast buffet is splendid in variety, all the food very fresh and very well prepared.

The fruit on offer for breakfast were all not ripe, the fruit juice accordingly unsatisfying; furthermore, the hotel is renting out part of their outdoor facilities in the afternoon and evening - including nerve-wrecking music entertainment, that makes the pool experience as well as the time you spend in your room rather unpleasant.

1. Service at the pool is non-existant. Felt like a joke. I don’t understand why this specific Edge bar in the hotel is run so bad. Also, sunbeds at the pool should be replaced in order to have a feel of a decent hotel. 2. I’ve stayed in what it appears to be a not renovated room. And the room was really shabby on one hand. On another - I can not understand how a holiday-purposed hotel allows to have wardrobe in the room that fit 5 hangers max.

Very helpful staff, willing to accommodate all our requests like late arrival, late checkout, and storing our suitcase overnight. Great beach and ocean views from the room. There's a free shuttle bus to/from the Grand Mosque and a mall in the morning, and to/from Muttrah Souq in the evening, which is nice since taxis are so expensive. Good variety of restaurants on site (helpful since there aren't many within walking distance). The restaurant remained open for lunch during Ramadan.

It's not the hotel's fault, but there's currently a building site next door which is noisy during the day. The shuttle bus could do with a bit more time at the Grand Mosque, and a bit less time at the mall. The staff provided a packed breakfast one day when we left very early, which we appreciated, but unfortunately it was very poor quality.

The hotel is pretty good and it has, in my opinion, the best location in Muscat with really great view on the city and the sea. There’s two amazing restaurants, where you can find scrumptious local and Italian food and wine. Also brunches there are yummy too! Every day in a week has a special menu: Indian, Asian, Italian, see food, etc. The staff is very lovely and friendly. I want to noticed a few of them: Salvin, Jamoline, Jacklyn, Eveline and cleaning guy Tol! These people made our vacation unforgettable! We’d be happy to visit this hotel again!

The only one negative thing in this place is noise of the climate equipment in front of the building. If you want to stay in this hotel with kids or you like to sleep with open windows, it’s better to get a sea view room, because the noise is permanently reduced by the equipment. That wasn’t a big problem for us, because the ventilation system in the building is good and we didn’t have to open the windows, but for somebody it may be a problem.

Very helpful staff (Najma, Talal, Maddy and others) helped a lot with returning swiftly my airpods left at the hotel. Much appreciated, thanks again! The stay was very good. Although initially we thought we got a garden view room, we actually got a half- sea view which was nice. We liked hotel's private beach, kids enjoyed the pool, all clean and comfortable. The restaurant above the pool has great food and was busy every evening (note though: prices there are way above any other Omani restaurant we visited) Very good breakfast too. Spacious room - we were 2 adults and 2 kids in one room - I had my doubts about it but we felt very comfortable in the room! Sunsets are amazing

more reasonable prices in otherwise lovely and tasty restaurant would be good ( but we had dinner there every night anyway)

The facilities are more than comfy, there is a terrace where you can sit peacefully in the evening without having to consume anything, there is table tennis and a tennis court, and the private beach is just amazing.

The bathroom could have been cleaner; we had a room with "city view", which actually meant parking lot view, and it was super noisy at night with the heating pumps running directly below our window. And the window couldn't be opened wide enough to let enough fresh air into the room.

Excellent location with access to a private beach. More than enough sun loungers by the pool and on the beach, even on the busy days. Pool area was excellent and the poolside service was generally excellent (only one exception). Room was large and well maintained by the housekeeping staff. Overall the level of service from hotel staff was excellent.

The breakfast options were many, with a real international flavour. However, the western meat options were limited to veal sausages, chicken chipolatas and veal bacon. There are No pork products at the hotel (but limitless amounts of alcohol - how does that work?) although pork products were previously provided for customers who chose to eat such foods.

- Only one restaurant on the territory of the hotel which serves buffet dinner (other restaurants and bars serve by menu). Thursday and Friday in this restaurant are usually fish days and dinner in this restaurant costs 30 Omani rial per person (25 Omani rial per person if you are the member of IHG loyalty program) - Insolent crows fly into the hotel grounds and steal leftover food from tables outside

I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and have to say its a really good value hotel, one of the most affordable 4-stars in the Muscat area WITH a private beach which is a huge bonus. The hotel is situated between Mutrah (old city) and the new Muscat of which it has shuttle services to both on a daily basis (Mutrah Souq, Grand Mosque and Mall of Oman). The hotel itself is clean, the staff are attentive and friendly and the restaurants serve excellent quality food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would definitely consider this hotel again on a trip to Muscat.

Rooms could be updated to be more modern but were clean and acceptable for a 4-star.
