Breakfast was pretty good. Staff was friendly. The property was clean and conveniently located. Easy shopping near by, but you had to walk a bit for restaurant options. The good thing was that it was pretty central, so airport and Al Mauj to the left, only 10 minutes or so...and Qurrum, and all other attractions to the right, again 10-15 minutes or so.

The staff didn't quite speak English very well. It was hard to communicate with some of them, some were better. We needed help asking about the city etc, but there was nobody at the front desk who could really guide us properly. Other than that,

Chathuka and his fellows at the front desk have been 24/7 available, very kind and helpful indeed. They apparently enjoyed making our stay stand out from other hotels we booked. The Wyndam Garden should be proud to have such nice people working for them. Thank you all!

The mattress of our bed must have been covered with a plastic layer underneath the linen which caused gnarling noises at the slightest movement and our sleep sweaty due to the moisture barrier it is. This is the only downside of our otherwise good room.

It is a new hotel. The furniture and the beds are in very good condition. The room was pretty big, enough for our family of three adults. The double bed is very big and convenient. We enjoy an outdoor pool. It is not big but the water is warm enough for comfortable swimming. The special thanks to very good breakfasts and dinners. We enjoy eating very diverse and delicious food. The personell was eager to help us in all deals.

Only one small thing. The breakfast does not contain enough meat like sausages and beakon, in my opinion.

The breakfast was good, plenty of choices to select. The location was good as well, it was easy to reach the airport, the beach, Mutrah etc. by taxi. There were shops, restaurants nearby, which were easy to reach by foot. The staff was nice and friendly. I found the value is absolutely great for this hotel.

Sometimes the cleaners forgot to change the towels, took the used ones and didn't put a clean one. In one of the rooms where my friends stayed during shower the hot and the cold water continously changed.

The location is okay. In Muscat you need a car to travel anyway. For local travel OTaxis is brilliant. For wider travel it is cheaper to hire a car. Fuel is so cheap compared to the UK. All depends on how comfortable you are driving in another country. The hotel does provide free basement car parking. Overall a nice place to stay. The breakfast was okayish, but could have been better. Not much different from day to day. Thanks to Tanze though, who was always making sure we were fine at breakfast. The hotel staff are welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the whole place smells nice. I must mention Nader, Hameed (reception) and Ayman (concierge). Really enjoyed there advice on travelling and sightseeing in Oman. A special thanks to S.Manimaran (Engineer) and M D Hasan (Housekeeping). They were tremendous in sorting out my room keypad which became faulty at the critical time when I was leaving to catch my flight. Honestly I can't thank them enough. I hope the management at the hotel appreciate their hard work and commitment. I also want to thank Julie (front desk manager) for trying to make our stay a good one. We mostly ate out at meal times as we were travelling around discovering Muscat. There are a few malls all within a few minutes taxi ride away, where you can enjoy shopping and find something to eat. There are coffee shops and desert places scattered everywhere so pretty much good choice when you want something to eat or drink. Lulu supermarket is also handy, where you can find pretty much anything and everything. Overall the hotel is a nice place to stay if you want to travel around Muscat. If you want to go for a more relaxed stay then you may want to stay closer to the beach. Oman is a lovely and safe place with friendly people.

- A/C worked - Bed/pillows were dense enough - Breakfast selection was decent - Facilities options seemed good, although I didn't use them (coffee shop, pool, fitness room)

- Shower water pressure was inconsistent at night - Internet didn't work at all on my laptop (although my laptop has also had this problem at some other hotels). My phone Wi-Fi connection worked perfectly well. - On the last night there were weird loud banging noises that sounded like they were coming from somewhere within the hotel. I have no idea what it was.

Some of lights not working in room , Pool not good and smells water like chlorine too much and it's effect my body. The room view was in construction side and too much noise , i think because I book from booking.com, otherwise if I book through hotel they will give a good room . One girl staff on reception when I arrive she offer for me a deluxe room and she give me very high price , and it's same room on booking.com with low price , I said its same room she says no you can't take this room , it's not for booking.com, so I feel so bad when she try to make up sale for me

We recently stayed at this hotel and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The location is perfect. The room was spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Great buffet breakfast, and I particularly enjoyed breakfast short conversations with Chef Adham. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay in Muscat.

Excellent location in Al-Khuwair - close to everything by taxi. If you're ordering an Otaxi (Uber equivalent in Muscat) via the app from this hotel, make sure you select a location nearby and not the hotel as Otaxi charges about 25 times more if you're staying at a nice hotel like this (e.g. a journey that should cost about 1.5 OR comes up as 25 OR). There are also plenty of taxis on the main road outside the hotel which can be flagged down (although would recommend if you're a solo female that you use Otaxi for safety). The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Staff at reception were very nice and helpful, including ringing the airport to find out where my lost luggage was. There was an open air barbecue stall down the road which was delicious in the evenings to get dinner for less than 1 OR each. Also lots of restaurants and fast food places in the vicinity but due to the heat you can't really walk but a taxi will only take a few minutes. We liked the hotel so much that when we had to return to Muscat a day early from our travels around the rest of Oman, we chose to rebook this hotel and got a good rate through Booking.com even though we were booking on the day.

There was one day where we came back to the hotel in the afternoon and our room hadn't been cleaned. However, this was quickly sorted out by reception when we went out in the evening. We didn't try the breakfast as it wasn't included in our room rate (probably why our rate was so good) and the price per day to just pay on the day seemed quite a bit (but is maybe standard for nice hotels in Muscat).

The location of the hotel, along with a very convenient garage, represents an amazing value for everyone with the car. Personally, I seriously doubt that I could choose better property when I take all the parameters into consideration. Really, a great value that one can find in the entire Muscat city. The room was very spacious, breakfast varied and tasty and the overall appearance of the hotel and its personnel is great. I recommend the property without any hesitation.

At the time being, there is a construction site next to the hotel that could result is some noise level, especially starting from around 06:00 or so. During one of the days, the room where I stayed experienced problems with wi-fi connection.
