The room was clean and so comfortable that I didn't want to get out of bed. The a/c was amazingly cold and I loved it! Hot shower in the morning. 😍 Relaxed check out time - thank you

My friend had to ask for room service to get his kettle changed which took a few calls and some time. Kettle was rusting/was not clean. At check in time there was a long line of people - I was the only non Omani waiting. When it was my turn the attendant at the desk almost went on to serve the next Omani in line when it was my actually my turn. The Omani man that was waiting gestured me to go next. The check in attendant should respect people waiting in line and take them in order as they come to keep it professional.

We were only supposed to stay one night here but our flight got canceled and we ended up staying for 4 nights more, Just brilliant. We had connecting family rooms with 3 single beds in one room and an extra large king-size bed in the other. Both rooms had smart TVs and a mini fridge. The beds and the bedding were just perfect, the furniture in our rooms was in perfect condition and everything was working. The bathroom in the kid's room had a larger shower which was perfect for the kids and we had hot water 24/7. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally good, I had read reviews before saying it wasn't all that but it was perfect, they had a large variety of fresh hot food which was changed daily, a good selection of cakes and croissants as well as cereal. fresh milk, coffee, tea, and a toaster for your bread. My kids have never been so eager for breakfast before!! The swimming pool was a winner with the kids, me and the wife didn't use it but had a nightmare of a time getting the kids out of it, the view from the rooftop was really good! Room service was on point and the guys in reception were really helpful, we checked out at 2.30 am and the reception sent a bellboy up with a trolley straight away!! Excellent and will be staying here 100% next time I am in Muscat!

Nothing to not like - perfect hotel, perfect location, helpful staff, and really comfy beds with an excellent breakfast buffet, what is there not to like???

We had a nice, clean, comfortable big family room. It also had a small fridge and they provided free water bottles. Breakfast was really good. There is a rooftop pool with heated water, which was nice. There was free parking space in front of the hotel. There are many shops around. Airport is only 15-20 mins drive. I recommend this place. The price/quality ratio was excellent, we were very satisfied.

There was a short electricity outage when we arrived and the next morning. Staff told us that it is probably due to usage of kettle. Maybe they should remove these from the rooms in case they cause issues.

Mattresses and pillows were the comfiest I have had in a hotel, slept really well. Also had blackout curtains that reached the floor unlike some 4+ star hotels we've stayed in. Roof top pool was lovely with a great view albeit a little gruby as maybe the filter wasn't working that well or just hadn't been cleaned out for a while as noticed a few clumps of hair floating....roof pool was like a hottub in temperature which was lovely in the evening but not so much in the day.

Showers were cold in room. Water did not run hot. Seems it was all fed to the rooftop pool

The hotel is situated in the city center. Around 2 mins walk from the hotel are fast food chains like KFC, Hardees and even the famous Filipino chains, Jollibee and Chowking! Around 7 to 10 mins drive are the Avenue Malls and Muscat Grand Mall. There are also individual restaurants nearby. I initially booked for a triple room and later upgraded to a Family room, with 2 twin beds and 1 King. The room was so spacious and the beds were big and comfy. The hotel looks grand from outside, however, the interior is little bit run-down but still well managed and clean. The check-in was smooth as well. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good for a 3-star hotel and for the price, it has everything you need to start your day. We also loved the small swimming pool at the rooftop, the water was warm (temp. controlled perhaps).

The scented oud was fragrant but a bit too strong in the lobby but was not really an issue. There was no changing room in the pool area.

Great location. Very friendly, professional and hospitable staff. Spotless cleanliness and especially beautiful sent of freshness as soon as you enter both hotel and room. Spacious room, comfortable bed with high quality linen, good WiFi, good and diverse breakfast, very good value for money, and in addition to all these, I was granted much earlier check-in. The review comes from a guy who has been airline crew for long years and stayed in over 300 hotels 2-6 stars, worldwide. I highly recommend Muscat Plaza!!!!!

Mr. Marwan on reception was very friendly person. welcome for us was amazing. Oud fragrance was everywhere in reception area that feel us more romantic. Fantastic breakfast that was already included in our rent. room was very clean and wash room well-maintained. area in room was very open and big. safe and secure lots of car parking free spaces all around the hotel. we can eat Pakistani Indian Arabic Turkish food and shisha very near by 1 minute walking distance. easy access to all tourist places in Muscat. The most we like is the swimming pool. that was amazing experience. We highly recommend this hotel at any cost.

Nothing much. The only issue I had was at check out. I extended for 1 more day my stay and was asked to pay 24 omani riyals, however staff encouraged me to do via booking were the price was cheaper. I paid amount directly while extending my stay and still staff at the check out point asked me for 13 more riyals balance. I proved with my receipt that I paid everything for what I booked for and after few moments staff asked me for my mobile number in case there is any misunderstanding. Please update system or extra training for the certain hotel staff, otherwise hotel and room were amazing and in perfect condition.

I had a fantastic stay at Muscat Plaza Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was courteous and always ready to assist with any requests. The location was ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. Overall, a wonderful experience that I highly recommend.

The room was quite spacious, had all the facilities needed. Accidentally booked without breakfast, so cannot review this part but for 3 Rials you can enjoy it, when forgot booking. Staff at reception was nice.

The bathroom was clean but looked a bit used in the corners. WiFi worked but sometimes got interrupted. Also, I couldn't use it fully, as in, for example, (video) calling friends/family through WhatsApp which was a bit annoying. I don't know if it is the hotel policy or just the of country Oman.
