Very nice staff here who cook you a great breakfast included with your stay each day. If you're a diver, it's directly across the street from Sea Pearl Divers which is a great shop so it's very convenient. The rooms need a little love and updating sadly as they are very dated but hopefully you're not in your room much anyways on Siquijor! Cutest little pets running around the grounds and the gardens are very pretty as you walk through the property. This place does have a generator so you always have a/c which is amazing! So many blackouts on this island and people we met were without a/c in the night for hours at their properties. Not a problem here. Location couldn't be much better as you are across from the perfect sunset beach spot. Near all of the restaurants by scooter (and if you don't ride, there are always trikes outside waiting for customers!). Overall very solid stay.

Wish the bathroom was updated a little bit better. Also the wifi is really not reliable.

What makes this place amazing are the wonderful ladies who work there - they are like your aunties, so warm and welcoming - nothing is too much trouble! The room was spacious and comfortable, with good aircon and we absolutely loved the breakfast, especially the fresh fruit and juice that accompanied the eggs and bacon, with free tea and coffee all day, and water too. The scooters that they have are a good standard and 400php per day - we enjoyed riding it around the island. The hotel is also in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants and a sunset beach. They have some wonderful animals too. Also, we accidentally broke the sink in our bathroom and were worried that it would be expensive to replace. However, the price was really reasonable and we were never made to feel bad, which we really appreciated.

A few things could be added to make it even more comfortable: hooks in the bathroom, somewhere to put your stuff in the bathroom, bedside tables, hangers in the wardrobe, comfier pillows. However, none of these things dramatically affected our stay.

The place was really clean and had the necessary you'll need in a room. The bed was spacious enough and we were able to sleep comfortably. And since it was located in San Juan, there's a lot of great places that you can visit like cafes or restaurants. And Paliton Beach is just a few kilometers away. They also big servings with their free breakfast.

The wifi was kinda slow during our first day but overall, it was just fine since we were also touring the island most of the time.

really friendly staff, and room is nice and clean too. pool is really warm as it gets the sun all day. they have beer and water for sale, free tea and coffee all day. the staff offered me and my girlfriend some pizza slices whilst they having their lunch, some of the friendliest hosts we’ve had. motorbikes for rent, 20 second walk from the sunset beach, nearby restaurants too.

I think the breakfast could be have more variety but the mango and banana crepes were good

The rooms were immaculately clean and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. However there were inconsistencies between the rooms. One room had a electric socket adaptor,(I had only brought a round pin one from UK so was surprised to find flat pin sockets!) one didnt, one had soap and shampoo, the other didnt. My room had no bedside light switch, and the nearby light had no bulb in it in any case. The breakfast was small but adequate. Fruit, eggs toast or rice and a choice of meat , or a pancake, juice tea or coffee. It would have been nice to have the fact that you can help your self to hot drinks throughout the day in the dining area and one family told us we could even use the kitchen. I would have liked to be able to put something in a fridge, but it worked ok leaving it in a sink of cold water for 3 days. Its these small things that create excellence. I do hope I can return though as the island is so beautiful and calm. The swimming pool was welcome, its just a bit bigger than a plunge pool and swimming in circles allowed a decent swim. The Jacuzzi was OK, not amazing and you have to ask reception to switch it on.

When a breakfast is booked for 7.30, then 7.50 is not an acceptable time to serve it. Luckily this only happened on one day.

Aloha is in a great location with plenty of restaurants close by by for dinner.

The pool water was really hot and although it states that you have access to a ‘private beach’ this isn’t the case. You need to bear in mind that you can only swim at the public beach in high tide but the water is still very shallow. The staff also were hard to locate if you needed anything - it was a matter of checking in several places before you found someone to help.

We had a great stay, we went during off-peak so it was quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The family room was very spacious & cleaned daily. Location was perfect as was close to restaurants/bars. Few minutes away from the main town, you can ask the staff to book a tricycle beforehand to take you there. Highly recommend, would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

A big plus was the generator, as there are many black outs in Siquijor. Nice beds, very nice breakfast and staff was very nice as well. Location is also perfect in between all touristic spots. Wifi was fast enough.

The shower wasn't clean and the showerhead was going everywhere or some holes were blocked. Lots of white on the taps and hoses. The pool is very small and needs an update. Just a bit of paint would do so much.

Location is great, it's in the middle of San Juan, Siquijor close to restaurants, bars, convenience store, and of course the beach. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The place was clean.

Facilities (pool and restaurant) were a bit dated and need a refresh. While rooms were big and clean, the bathroom needed a few more things, like a shower curtain, place to put soap/shampoo, etc.
