I really loved my stay here. I had read the reviews and I wasn’t sure if it would be any good but I booked it for the location anyway as it was so convenient for the festival I wanted to attend in Siquihor, and I’m so glad that I did! This was one of the nice resorts that I’ve stayed in so far, value for money, comfort, staff, Everything about it was great. The hotel management had obviously been listening to peoples comments and there is now good Wi-Fi in every room and all over the premises. The air-conditioning works really well in the rooms, there was also a ceiling fan inside the room and outside on the Veranda. My room was beautiful, the bed really comfortable and in the bathroom there were three different types of showers to choose from (with hot water). I didn’t check the television in the room as I didn’t want to watch tv but there was a list of Chanel’s on the dresser and the tv looked new. The food was delicious, great variety, well cooked, I would say that the two chefs that are working at the resort are really well trained chefs! The prices were very competitive so I enjoyed eating by the pools. Another good point I noticed was that locals ordered special plates for takeaway (that’s always a good sign). Wow the pools were such a bonus and well thought out. One long pool for swimming lengths (good exercise), one pool I would call a family pool, + 2 kids pools, and each pool had a clever tarpaulin type cover over part of it so that there is always a part of the pool sheltered from the sun. The resort is also a beachside property; the view was beautiful and easy to access the beach. The staff were all fantastic. There wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do to help. They organised a motorbike for me to hire, and went down to the pier for my onward ferry ticket, nothing was too much of a problem. I honestly wanted to stay longer just because I felt so comfortable here! A BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR MAKING MY STAY SO ENJOYABLE AND FOR PUTTING UP WITH ME 😊👍

I liked everything about it

Absolutely the best staff on the island! Every room had internet wifi at incredible speeds. Clean rooms with full service including laundry upon request. Two adult pools, one is around 24 meters and perfect for morning laps. The food was great quality and affordable. The owner Keith was exceptionally helpful and courteous. He was even willing to help me after thinking I was already checked-out, which speaks volumes about his character! I will only recommend Rainbow Bay to friends and family!

Step out of the rear of the bungalow straight onto a great beach with clear water, great for swimming. Loved checking out the rock pools behind the bungalow at low tide. The staff were very helpful and decent food was served in the restaurant.

No cutlery, plates etc. Mosquito nets would have been useful in our particular bungalow. Left mangoes in the bungalow which were most likely eaten by rats, couldn't be helped I suppose as there is a gap between the roof and walls in our bungalow.

Close to the seaport about 500 meters away. Beach front - the sunrise is spectacular you should wake up early to see it. Room is spacious with king size bed & own terrace. There are swimming pools available both for kids & adults. By the way they provide good quality bath towel and beach towel. The food is great in their resto bar! Tried the fish sinigang, pork sinigang, salt & pepper squid, tuna sandwich, chicken curry, fresh lumpia, and fruit shakes - everything tastes good! The staff are friendly and very professional. I requested for transportation to and fro the seaport and they provided FOC. I also requested them to purchase my ferry ticket going back to Dumaguete and they bought it for me even though it was already 6 in the evening. Glad that my initial resort had no room available and I was able to book Rainbow Bay instead. Everything you need in a hotel resort is here! You could not ask for more! See you again when I come back to Siquijor!

The staff was wonderful--really caring and kind. I liked that the rooms had both an aircon and fan as much of the time, all you needed was a fan. The grounds are kept clean. Wi-Fi at the pool was really good and fast. They set me up with a motorbike one day and a scuba dive the next.

I know Rainbow is in an awkward time waiting for tourism to pick up post-COVID. I'm guessing that as a result of low occupancy, they limit the hours of the front desk/resturant/bar--and that's fine--BUT, if that's the only place where the Wi-Fi is, it's really awkward. You either need to fully open up or put Wi-Fi in the rooms. In my opinion few guests really care about TVs and cable anymore--those days are over. Give us speedy Wi-Fi in the rooms-and we can entertain ourselves/take care of business back home. No need to get defensive, as this is a common condition of hotels in the Philippines. Please consider.

The Lasagna!!!! You know this is a tiny little secluded island I don't know how they made a lasagna like this it is FANTASTIC. Excellent Bengali curry also. Perfect Bolognese aaaaaa if you travel Asia you know some things are hard to get here. The food is a wide selection and alot of places here in the Philippines screw up a wide selection but this place is spot-on. You should come here just for the food. Seriously. There were 3 pools which was real nice because we have a 3 year old and the kiddie pool was perfect for her. The room was spacious and if I wasn't an Aircon junkie I could have opened it up big on all sides french doors and big windows. Large bathroom, comfortable beds.

I liked everything. There were no fails here. Even the cable tv had good channels

Like the private beach. It was calm and peaceful. San Juan that time had “habagat” so beach was rough. The kids also enjoyed the pool. I also like the garden feel and exclusivity. Location is ok 5 minutes to Paliton and around 10 minutes to San Juan.

I didn’t like the flooring. Not tiles nor marble. Needed to wear slippers inside the room. Bed is also not that soft. CR no exhaust fan.

The service staff is very enthusiastic

The hotel does not have any signal when using a mobile phone SIM card. Wi-Fi coverage is too small. The room can't connect to Wi-Fi at all and the phone has no signal. The glass door is brighter, and you will be woken up by the sun in the morning. It is recommended to draw a curtain on the door so that the light will not be too transparent

Absolutely loved this hotel wanted to stay longer if it’s available just book it great all round from the room to the food exceptional for the price I’m going back definitely

The only one thing is that you need transportation..but you need that on the island anyway..just book it excep

-Bed is extremely comfortable. -The location is good because it is near Siquijor port. -All the members of the staff are super nice and kind. -Restaurant is quite good and fair prices. -They provide you good towels for the beach.

-Wifi signal in the room is too weak.
