However, the road going to Mandala is quite dark, we are kinda scared to go out to look for dinner especially the place is a min. Or 2 from the main road. I hope they'll serve dinner next time

A lovely alternative stay. The treehouse was beautiful and in a quiet location. We only stayed one night but would have loved to have extended if there was room!

There was only cold water which might be good to mention on the room descriptions. The stairs to the bedroom are quite steep.

If you like something different and unique and you want some fantastic photos with a genuinely pleasant experience, I can’t recommend this place enough! One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at in the Philippines for the pure peacefulness and tranquility, beds are so comfy and the staff are extremely helpful with free drinks and snacks. Regularly making sure your experience is a good one. Very accommodating and helpful with arranging longer stays. We stayed in the villa and the treehouses and the villa is perfection. The treehouses are always just as incredible! You have to stay here!! Very close to a beautiful beach. Ability to hire scooters, but we already hired before hand.

I didn’t enjoy the massage but that might just be me, my other half loved it haha. Also a fridge in the treehouses should be in there as we had no way to chill our drinks or food. Other than that I cannot fault.

Very nice place.

Some guests were noisy. The neighbors (outside the resort) played horrible music the whole day (boom-boom-techno etc, very high bass…). Impossible to get any food/snacks in the afternoon /evening. Incredible in the Philippines where you always can order food. The staff will not help you with that. They only serve drinks. Be careful with the ferry from dumaguete-siquijor. Be early enough there to get tickets or you will get stuck in dumaguete. The hotel doesn’t help with ferry tickets.

I like the atmosphere and the overall vibe of the place. Very quiet and private. Location is a approximately 200meters away from the main road but road is okay. Everything in the premises works and place is very serene and clean. We also got surprised with free snacks which we appreciated very much.

We stayed here with our three year old and the wooden/native terrace on the 2nd floor is not that sturdy so I saw it as a safety hazard although I think most people who stay here are couples with no kids, however can be a mishap for a tipsy or drunk guest going up the bedroom.

We really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the traditional look that each tree house has. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, it feels like you're bathing in the middle of the forest and doesn't compromise privacy. The room has a flashlight in case you need to go to the bathroom at night When we arrived we were well received and the staff offered us natural juice and rice snacks. The hotel has motorbikes for rent o que permitiu-nos ir rapidamente a Paliton Beach, Cambugahay falls almoçar/jantar em restaurantes, etc. Breakfast is served on the terrace of each facility. We really enjoyed the experience!

location i good. but could have been better if you have a small pool for kids. I love that theyre giving is free snacks everyday. the only hotel we been to that actually did this. superb.

they asked me to pay for kids. which i thought is free. but good thing they refunded it later. we asked for coffee around 9pm but they said coffee only served til 11am. Could have been better if you offer extra miles service like if we want you to reheat our food or if we want to buy rice for additional charge. We asked but they say No. our kids and elderly end up hungry during the night. We ate cold chicken coz they refused to reheat our food for some extra charge. the island is difficult to explore if you dont have car. no near store. so extra miles service like these could have been better. This is recommended for young couples without kids and not for families with elders. also better if the hotel has its own service.

Beautifully decorated with a great amount of space to fully relax in. We loved the shower and were amazed at how clean and mosquito free the place was! It was also lovely to be greeted with cold juice each day we arrived home.

The kitchen is completely empty. A little bit of cutlery, plates, mugs, bottles opener etc would have been useful. Also the curtains in the living room do not fully cover the windows which resulted in less privacy when the staff came into the garden unexpectedly

Me and my friend just left here today and loved our stay here. Staying in the jungle in the treehouse was a unique experience, the location was good near to everything in San Juan and can rent motorbikes from reception. The lady on reception was lovely and helpful and we got afternoon snacks and juice dropped over to us which was lovely.

there wasn’t much facilities or way to buy anything other than water there or even nearby

A really beautiful place! The area and the treehouses are so nice. Even though the treehouses are close you still have privacy because of all the plants. Feels like living in nature. The personnel was really nice and friendly. We rented motorbikes directly from the Mandala Tribe Treehouse which made it really easy to discover the island. The breakfast they offer was really good. Before you arrive at the accommodation there is a goat walking around in a leash (that is not attached to anything) which was really cute and funny.
