Excellent location just outside the Old Town. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in Gdańsk. Spacious room on 4th floor. staff very helpful and friendly. clean throughout.

The lift stops at the 3rd floor, so one flight of stairs up to 4th. With arthritis this can be a problem. Room was a garret room with just Velux windows in the roof. One had a broken handle, and you had to climb onto a chair to open and close them all. There was no controller for the aircon, and I had to pick one up from Reception. Despite there being a sign stating that bacon, egg and sausage could be had by special request, it was there without request on Saturday and Sunday. When I nipped in on Monday for a quick breakfast before departing for the airport, there was none. The waitress offered to cook some, but I didn’t have time. Felt that my options had been taken away. Had I known I could have ordered the day before.

Location is absolutely perfect for exploring Beds extremely comfortable and fantastic shower

I usually bring my own jar of coffee for room but forgot on this occasion - only 2 sachets for 4 days in the room but i managed to buy a jar. Was charged almost £45 for complete new set of towels cos i got eyeliner on one hand towel as i had also forgot to take make up wipes

Breakfast - fine, a wide choice available. The location is hard to beat. Cafes/Restaurants and the old town right on your doorstep. I will be going back to Gdanks at some point in the not too distant future and would not hesitate to use Kobza again if there are vacancies. From the staff through to the shower - everything was welcoming. Writing this from my wife's account it wasn't Linda staying it was her husband John. She may accompany me on my next visit.

Very good location, very central. Property was nice and clean, exceptionally comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and we checked in early and left our bags with staff the day we checked out. Would recommend and would stay again.

The blinds in our room were fabulous, so as soon as it was bright outside… so was the room. Really didn’t impact us that much, but black out blinds would be nice.

super clean and spacious room. very convenient right in middle of town. safe secure underground parking. beautiful historic building and setting. comfy bed and lovely clean and soft bedding. room was well matched with all the furniture. reception very helpful and friendly they even had city maps (everywhere we had been so far on the tour we had to try and find on the first day) if we ever get back to Gdańsk we would stay here again.

a little noisy with the late night revellers. bit like a maize to get from underground car park. but reception gave us full written instructions.

The whole place looked great, the room was nice and there was even AC which was a huge plus as the room got roasting in the hot Polish weather. The location was also superb, you walk out and are surrounded by pubs and restaurants with the gorgeous bridge literally a minute's walk away.

I've two minor complaints about the stay: while the light summer duvet was a nice idea, having two single duvets on the double bed wasn't very ideal. I'm used to sleeping under a double duvet and kept losing this one through the night. The shower head was also way too low with no way to adjust the height - I'm tall but not unusually so and kept having to bend awkwardly to get my hair rinsed. Either that or taking the shower head in hand and holding it higher myself.

Excellent location. Room was very comfortable, plenty of space. Good shower with complimentary toiletries. Kettle with tea and coffee, very nice for an early morning drink. A most welcome bottle of water was provided. We chose not to have our room cleaned so don't know if the water would have been replaced daily.

Sadly, there were building works across the road so our room was disturbed quite early. Also, some noise from late night venues nearby. Provision of tea and coffee was restricted to one drink per person per day. I would have liked more, also milk. There was a fridge but nothing in it.

Really excellent location. Decent size room with armchair and desk and large wardrobe etc. Staff helpful.

Very minor issues- if you want to leave luggage after you check out there is no allocated room, it's left by the reception desk at your own risk (I did this and had no issues). There is a cocktail bar just outside which can be loud but I'm deaf so it didn't bother me. Room slightly old fashioned but comfortable.

lovely clean, fresh hotel with Old Town Characters.

Building being refurbished across the street, would recommend a rear facing room or earplugs as work starts around 7am, didn’t bother us much though and definitely not the hotels fault!

the location but my room wasn’t noisy even Bering in the heart of the old town. Helpful staff, facilities good and good price.

my room was a bit hot even with air con on. it was in the attic so got heated up by sun from the sky lights. having said that there was a heat wave at the time so not sure how often that happens!
