Aparthotel Karmel

Great location in the Jewish quarter. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and supermarkets around the local area. Around 15 minute walk from the old town (I walk fast). Good communication from the manager, who updated me with instructions on checking in. And also good response when I requested the use of other facilities such as an iron. The hotel is very nicely furnished, and is kept very clean by the cleaner, whom I must mention because she does a fantastic job and always greets you with a smile. The room was great! I booked for 5 nights, and I travelled solo, so booked the smallest room with a single bed, and the room was perfect. Comfy bed, TV, hot drink facilities, mini fridge, en-suite shower and toilet. Couldn't ask for more. Overall, I would recommend booking into the Karmel. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Krakow.

Brilliant breakfast. Delicious, located close to the hotel, good choice for the morning due other cafes are close. The hotel is very clean, the staff is inconspicuous, the "help yourself" principle is very good. At the same time, Pyotr is always ready to answer all questions and provide support - thank you for that and I don't understand how he manages to always be in touch with so many clients, while remaining so friendly and polite. The hotel is located in the very center of Krakow - it is convenient to get anywhere. All the best cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. And I especially appreciate its atmosphere - ancient, real, luxurious Poland.

At the evening i met some troubles with hotels WI-FI. It doesn't work good enough.

I am amazed by the smooth check-in, and how the quite and cozy yet very rich in terms of bars/coffee/food and attractions the area is. The house where the hotel is situated is very pretty. There are conditioners, it is possible to stay with a pet and it's relatively affordable (considering the district - it's perfect!). It feels like the staff really cares about their tenants! I really dislike the vibe of typical hotels when everything is unnecessarily huge, sterile and overcrowded, but this place despite it's classic style made me feel like I'm home, because it's cozy, calm, the stuff is almost invisible and when you meet people everyone smiles and cheers each other. Loved it!

I wish the rooms where aired/ventilated better before check-in. The wardrobe smelled after someones sweated clothes, however it's minor inconvenience for me.

Hands down this is the best apartment/hotel we have ever stayed in. Fantastic location in the center of Jewish district Kazimierz on very quiet street. Really nicely located with lot of history around, next to old synagogue. Our room was spacious and equipped with turntable and collection of R&B, jazz, and rock records! Very close to Nowy Square where we had an amazing breakfast in a nearby café, all included in room price!

Every time I come to Karmel, it's like coming to my own cozy home. Hot water, cleanliness, flowers on the floors and the soul of Poland - gentle, intelligent, Catholic. I have been came to the Karmel with my children many times and always in this fairy place I found myself, balance, peace and the greatest satisfaction from the life. The price always pleasantly surprises. That rare moment when the quality of the service is hundreds of times higher than the price. Aparthotel Karmel has a unique location - it is in the heart of Old Krakow. From here you can walk to all the most desirable historical places for tourists. The best cafes and restaurants with very affordable prices are near the hotel. In the same time the rooms in a hotel are extremely quiet. The staff is very polite and unobtrusive, everyone is there only when needed. They speak English, Polish, Ukrainian. I always recommend this hotel to my friends from all over the world who travel to Poland.

For me, this is an absolutely perfect place - my little temple of comfort and restoration of mental strength. I would ask the administration not to change anything :) I will always give myself and my children a gift in the form of accommodation in Karmel.

Good place to stay. Nice cafes nearby. Walking distance to most places in the city. Yet noisy at night, we stayed from Thursday to Sunday, and there were very loud music every night. It is self check-in and there is not anyone in the reception. But Piotr was very helpful on phone and said we could call anytime. We felt safe at Karmel.

Loud noise at night from music and people. I had chosen this place because it offered 24-hour front desk service on booking.com, so it was a little disappointing that it wasn’t the case. However as mentioned, Piotr was very nice and helpful on the phone! Would be nice with more outlets/near the bed to charge your phones

My stay at Aparthotel was excellent . Very impressed with Hotel manager Piotr and his cleaning staff ( Irma ) . His communication skills were very helpful in so many way's and i would have no problem to recommend this very nice place in the heart of the old Jewish Quarter to anybody . I enjoyed my stay at Karmel hotel, first of all the manager is very friendly and helpful, he allowed me to check out late and check in early for free when it was possible, he also answered many questions about the city. The location of the hotel is amazing in a very cool area in the jewish district, surrounded by restaurants and bars, the room was clean and everything was perfect, if you are looking for a hotel with great value for money I highly recommend this one.

Great location in the old Jewish quarter, with plenty of bars and restaurants. Room was large with a great shower. Easy to reach Krakow's main square about 20 min walking, but to be honest the hotel location as enough going on to stay in the local area. Hotel as no onsite catering and breakfast is provided at the restaurant across the road, this was good with plenty of choices and well stocked

Comfortable bed, soft furnishings were really nice. Great shower, perfect Internet and lovely helpful staff that carried our cases up stairs for us. Definitely stay again, very well priced. We are private hosts of properties back in Tasmania, can clearly tell that the owners are up to date with all things hospitality. We stayed in room 2
