All about the location--on a low-key square just two blocks from the main market square and one block from the park that encircles the old town. No traffic or urban noise since the rooms face an inner courtyard. The room was spacious, with high , beamed ceiling and a with a large shower in a large bathroom. The staff at the desk (8 AM to 10 PM were always pleasant and helpful. The electric kettle and plenty of instant coffee were appreciated. We would stay here again.

There was occasionally some--not much--noise from an adjacent room. To be honest, the bed was a bit hard--a single mattress on a wood base.

I was a little late getting to the property on the designated time but the lady at the reception was really kind and assured me not to panic. The lady (short dark hair) even carried my really heavy suitcase up the three flights of stairs! The gentle men who worked behind the desk Also leant me a hairdryer free of charge! There was also another behind the desk who was very lind and let me sit in the little staff area whilst I was waiting for my train hime after checkout time. Room and bathroom very clean. I loved the original parquet flooring and beautiful traditional rugs! Windows looked original feature of this period property and were huge! Which was lovely. I was very close to the market square (about 5-10 mins walk if that) also, the square where the entrance to the guesthouse is located has many great restaurants and a couple of bars and across the way is a fabulous theatre! I recommend any one of them but I only had time to try Morskie Oko and Restauraucja Traditional I think it was called. I also went to the milkbar for breakfast pancakes which was lovely, cheap and packed! And cafe Europesjska was glamorous with excellent service and nice food if on the pricier side for breakfast because of being on the market square.

There is no lift, only one room on the bottom level I think. So not the best for those who can’t do stairs. This did not affect me, however and the stairs did me a world of good! And the mini fridge was shared with other rooms so your tood and drinks were at the mercy of others. Also, there was only a single sized duvet on my double bed. There are also a few cracks in the tiles and damp damage in the bathroom, from possibly a leaky pipe in the walls. And the decor is very dated. But is a very old building and these things are bound to happen.

We had a large group booking which changed a few times before pay/check in and the hotel were really helpful in sorting everything out, after a few initial issues. They offered and came through with a Airport transfer for the whole group which was easy to sort and then find at the aiport. Rooms were fine for what they were needed for, larger group saw us split up a bit but no issues with that. Reccs on local bar- Up towards the main square- was a great bit too. Will definitely return book when next in town.

Not alot. Used it as a base and its perfect for that as we were out for most of the days we were about.

Check-in times - due to delay of my bus, I arrived very late. Thank you for messaging me to make sure I got the key! Host is very pleasant and helpful. Very clean and large room with bathroom and comfortable bed - all a traveler might need to stay for a night or two. I will stay here again and would recommend to others.

Amazing location. Friendly and helpful staff on check in, even though as we arrived after midnight. Extremely helpful with answering any questions prior to our arrival. Had everything we needed, including flannels, towels and shower gel. Very clean and comfortable beds. Great price and felt very authentic as we wanted to experience traditional accommodation rather than stay in a chain and so pleased we did as it all added to the experience. We didn’t actually spend any time at the guesthouse apart from sleeping there so can’t really comment on any other facilities. It was perfect for our needs and we felt very safe there.

Can’t think of anything.

I liked Globtroter a lot. It is hidden in behind a court and restaurants in a quiet garden setting. We got a room on the ground floor. The room was large, bathroom also large. Hot water worked well, wifi good. A kettle in the room with coffee and paper cupsThe room is decorated in an older style but I thought it added to the charm. It is easy walking distance from the guest house to all tourist attractions in the Old Town. Bania Luka is a bar right next door with the cheapest beer we could find.

I liked everything.

Great location! Set off Plac Szczepanski in the Old Town of Krakow. Although just a 5 minute walk from Rynek Glowny, the main square, the area was a lot quieter. Other sites in close proximity were the Barbakan and Florian's Gate. On the other side of the Planty (park surrounding the old town) you have a convenient tram stop at Teatr Bagatela and were a 5 minute walk to the old fruit and veg market at Stary Kleparz. Also some great cafes and bars locally if you didn't want to venture to the main square at night and a couple of small supermarkets nearby too. The accommodation itself was full of character - possibly once old apartments and the room although a little dated was large and had most needs covered. Kettle & tea / coffee, extra blankets No safe, although you could leave valuables at reception and no fridge in the room, but a communal one on the 2nd floor landing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing in particular. More a few observations than any complaints. There was a neighbouring restaurant which could be quite busy, so a little bit of noise until mid evening...but nothing major. WiFi could be a little erratic in the late evening.

- The guest house is located in the old town of Krakow, and it’s pretty busy at night outside. But because the guest house is in a backyard, it remains quite and peaceful. - The garden makes it seem like you enter a fairytale. - The reception is really eager and helpful with sightseeing in Krakow and do recommend places to see and visit, and where to eat and drink! - The guest house and the rooms has a real polish and homey feel to it. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s definitely worth it when visiting Krakow to stay here. - Big and spacious rooms with okey bathrooms.

- The bed may be somewhat short and hard, but no problem if that doesn’t bother you. - The lock on the door seemed kinda sketchy at first, but we assumed the place was safe and it was! No one cleans rooms, and therefor we left all of our valuable thing in the room!

This hotel was wonderful! Its location was absolutely perfect. The main square was 2 short blocks away & the smaller square the hotel is on was bustling with people, restaurants & bars. To access the hotel, you had to enter & exit another building’s hallway which seemed odd but it lead to a quaint & beautiful courtyard. This hotel wasn’t loaded with ‘amenities’ but it was quiet, secure, charming & wonderful. We were saddened to leave.

The only criticism would be the confusion of going through another building to access our hotel.

It was very old as in keeping with the old district. So some might think it very dark and in need of upgrading but we loved it.

Not picking but the fan in the bathroom was squeaky and noisy if you have to visit the bathroom in the night. Difficult too find when first arriving. Instructions were good but a picture of the door onto the square would have helped.
