What a superb apartment which was spotless and cleaned every day by a couple of lovely ladies how took great pride in their work. The apartment was one of four in the building and we had the top apartment with magnificent balcony views out to see and over towards the famous Peneco beach. As an added bonus we also had a small terrace towards the rear of the apartment which had a couple of sun loungers and a lage parasol. The actual photos on the Booking website do not do the apartment justice - after climbing the marble stairs our front door opens into the very well equiped kitchen (microwave. kettle, fridge, hob. cooker etc) where the read door lead to the terrace. Just off the kitchen was the living room with TV, big dinning table with 4 chairs, a bed sofa and decent doubled doored wardrob. The bedroom was spacious and the two large single beds quickly became a huge double. The bathroom had everything you would need and like the rest of the apartment was spotless. Both the bedroom and living room had their own air-con units and both had access to the balcony which was great if someone wanted a lie in. All rooms had plenty of storage plus there was a safe built into the wardrobe. Access to the pool was via spiral staircase from the balcony

In the apartment the wifi signal was poor at best and non existant most of the time - I understand the router in the front hall is some distance for the top apartment but some sort of booster would be a great addition. Booking in was delayed a little but finally worth the wait

Everything. Location amazing. View from top apartment of sea was out of this world. 5 minute walk to the beach which was a fabulous beach. 10 minute walk to the marina for the boat tours. Apartment is in a nice quiet part of town with 10 minute walk to the busier areas. Apartment was spotless and cleaned every day. Highly recommend it for couples or small family. Pool area is only accessible from a spiral stairs on the balcony. Only 3 apartments share the pool which is great. We stayed in top floor apartment and had a second veranda at the back with lounge chairs and parasol. Book now

Nothing really. Perhaps a lamp in living room for more ambient lighting rather than the bright centre light. But this is being extremely fussy.

Perfect location, 2 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Stayed in the sea view apartment, which was spacious and had everything you could need. An iron and board was so useful, the air conditioning and balcony and view were perfect. Can’t think of one negative thing to say. The roof terrace was also very special. This was an our 25 th wedding anniversary celebrations and it met every expectation. We booked again whilst there, for May 20 25, couldn’t get the same apartment as already booked. But got one in the other block owned by Rossio Mar. The apartments get booked up quickly, which I think speaks for itself. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I loved the location, so close to the beach but yet far enough away from the noise and bustle at night time. It was close to the marina also where we took a boat to the caves. I loved the little balcony every morning where the sun would stream in and access to the pool, though I did feel we were interrupting the ones below us when they were out on their deck chairs. The view was amazing also. I slept on the sofa bed and my two daughters had the double. I found the sofa bed just perfect, lovely and firm. I didn't get the girl's name at the reception but she was lovely and stored our bags until we could check in later. She was very friendly and gave the impression she was happy to help when many receptionists I have met in the past looked bored. The cleaning ladies gave me extra toilet tolls when needed one morning too, all a lovely friendly staff. It was my first time away in 16 years as I have 6 children but it was the nicest place I have stayed in overall. The personal touch of getting an email/ text message waiting for our arrival put me at ease as It has been a long time since I booked a holiday. I will be recommending you to my friends and family and return again. Thank you for the wifi also as my girls enjoyed watching a film each night on my laptop before bed.

I stayed in studio room 6. Fabulous room. There's no lift, only stairs to the rooms, but if you struggle carrying your suitcase upstairs/downstairs like I did, the staff will happily help. Nothing is too much trouble. Fantastic location in the old town. I will recommend Rossio Mar to everyone, but might try the apartments next time, just a little further down the street, but some over the beautiful ocean and beach, which is stunning and breathtaking.

The locals were very noisy, very early in the morning outside of the terrace 😒 thats not Rossio Mar's fault, but its a note people need to know about. This won't stop me staying here again though......its probably just the local way 🤷🏻‍♀️

The location is fantastic! This is a fully functioning apartment with a kitchen, a desk, private bathroom and balcony. Great for longer stays. I had to move from a youth hostel nearby due to a bad smell and was able to book at Rossio Mar Apartments last minute. The price was great, the room was clean. Check in was easy. In the room, in the closet, there is a clothes drying rack, which I always need and appreciate. The balcony was cute. The bed was comfortable. It's quiet! They even have a bookshelf on the stair landing where people can exchange books. Please note there is an amazing coffee shop on the same street that I wish I'd learned about earlier called Sugar Rabbit. And there is a fantastic and affordable co-working space just a 5 minutes walk called Albufeira Co-Working, which I highly recommend!

The bleach smell in the bathroom upon arrival was too strong for me but I'm scent sensitive and just had to close the door and open the window until it dissipated. That was the only negative for me.

Location was perfect and loved having the comfort of a home

Location in the old town was nice and peaceful but so close to the beach ⛱️ There are some lovely little bars/ cafes along the street. We particularly liked Sugar Rabbit. it's a vegetarian cafe and the pancakes are so yummy we had them 3 times. 😋 We used the rooftop for sunbathing most days, and the view over the sea was beautiful. Katherina, on reception, was so helpful and friendly.Note that the studios and apartments are in different buildings with the apartments on the beach side of the street and the studios a few hundred meters away on the opposite side where you need to go up on the rooftop to get a view of the beach. Lastly our studio was spotlessly clean. 👍

The bed was a bit hard for my friend, but on mentioning this to Katherina, she got a duvet for my friend to use over the mattress, which helped. We only had a small balcony with not much of a view at the back of the property. Studio 2, in my opinion, is the best as it has a nice spacious courtyard on the ground floor.

The room looked nice, the staff was friendly, everything was clean, and the location was nice.

If you stay on the ground floor, you will have to close the shutters or else every one on the street will have a look in your room. If you close the shutters, you don't have any natural light :(. In the morning, there was noise from the street.
