The location was just perfect, a 2 minute walk into the heart of the old town and a 1 minute walk to the beach. however, you do not get any noise from the busy nightlife of the old town, which is great! Our room was great! Very spacious, nice bathroom and comfy bed. A room with sea view is a must have for booking with this hotel with a stunning view overlooking the beach, Breakfast is small (which we knew about) but very nice - with croissants, fresh fruit, meat, cheese and breads. Staff are pleasant and leave you to yourself for the whole stay. Stay here if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay with no hassle. Perfect for couples. 12pm checkout is also a huge bonus if you are like us and have a long day waiting for your flight home.

There are only very small touches that would make the hotel a 10/10. Staff tend to leave you to yourself in order to allow you to relax, which is really nice, however I think if they occasionally had a member of staff walking around the pool area to offer a cold beer/cocktail, it would go a long way. We stayed for a week and though our room was cleaned every day, the bed was made but the bed sheets were not changed for the duration. however, we did not mention this to the staff, so i'm sure it can be arranged. The 200EUR room deposit when you first check in is rather annoying for budgeting, as on the day you fly home, you are left with 200EUR to spend. We also felt it was strange that you have to pay for a safe key to store your valuables.

This place was wonderful. The proximity to the beach and town center was perfect, and the views were so lovely. The room was comfy and spacious enough, not to mention my own little balcony that looked out onto the beach. The pool was a bonus, especially when it's kid-free :)

They did try to make me pay a deposit in cash, which I found really odd. I pushed back and they said they'd instead put it on my credit card. I think I read this in a review when I booked but didn't think much of it. Who is carrying around hundreds of Euros (or any currency) these days?

Great adult only boutique hotel. Loved that it was within easy walking distance to the crazy busy town Center. It was our quiet get away from the hustle of town. Great breakfast but the coffee seemed to be like warm every morning but and missing flavour.

Our rooms balcony faced the pool and terrace. We were enjoying our own wine outside on our little patio and were told we could not do this. ???

The hotel itself was very beautiful and had an amazing view of the beach/town. The pool was awesome and the staff were super helpful and nice. My husband especially loved the breakfast. The location was also very convenient for us. We took a boat trip out of the marina and this was very walkable to that and we were also able to walk from the bus depot to this hotel (granted I would recommend taking a taxi, but you could walk it if you wanted). The room was small but very comfortable and the AC worked well enough for us (we sleep very hot so that often is not the case). I think the view and the staff were definitely the best of our trip!

I got a message after booking saying they needed a 200 euro (in cash) deposit when we arrived in case of damages which was kind of sketchy to me and inconvenient as we had not planned to travel with a ton of cash on us so we had to make a special trip to the bank to get euros. They did not ask for it when we arrived though which was just as well. There was a sign about how they would charge 50 euros per towel that is damaged from makeup or tanner/sunscreen, etc. That was new to me and made me very nervous so it is worth noting. We were only there one night and were very careful, so I don't think we were charged any extra, but you might bring some of your own wash clothes and beach towels to use to be safe.

Chose this Hotel for convenient walk to the Old Town... Room was spotless and the view was amazing....

Breakfast was disappointing. After the first morning I didn't go down for breakfast and went elsewhere. A kettle in the room would have been a great addition...seeing as there was a fridge already there.

view, location and cleanliness was perfect.

pool terrace was too quiet with no atmosphere, it actually felt quite awkward. A serious lack of parasols and sun loungers, we only spent one morning on there as it was too hot and because there were not enough beds it felt like you couldn’t leave the area and come back! maybe some background music would also be nice to add a bit of ambience, the bar area wasn’t really a bar area! it just felt a bit like you weren’t welcome to relax and have some drinks. it is a gorgeous hotel in a gorgeous location but to me it is lacking atmosphere.

Great view of the beach from the pool and unbeatable location at the top of the old town. Rooms were without fault, clean and tidy and good servicing as required. Adults only is a great benefit and it was certainly an older, more sensible crowd at this hotel, not catering for stag and hen parties.

Breakfast only had cold options and was repetitive. Also the room is a little cramped as many go for breakfast around the same time. Also a little quiet, lacking a bit of atmosphere but I think this may be a positive for many looking for a relaxing time by the pool during the day. It is an adults only hotel aimed at those looking for a quieter hotel but Albufeira is certainly not quiet even in the old town.

A great place to stay. Small and friendly in a ideal location right next to the beach, near the old town and walking distance to lots of lovely bars and restaurants. The breakfast was very good, very fresh with a great selection of continental food. Staff were friendly and helpful with nothing too much to ask.

We would have liked some extra items in the breakfast selection like bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs but that’s just our taste of food and I knew this wasn’t something the hotel offered Would have preferred a balcony room but there was only a street view available for the price we paid. It wasn’t too noisy. Only on the odd occasions when we had the window open

The location is great, only 5/10 minute walk from old town. I’d recommend booking a sea view room as the other views are of run down buildings which isn’t the hotels fault. The continental breakfast was basic but good for a quick bite. The cleaners were in everyday making the bed and giving us fresh towels which was great. Recommend it if you want a nice peaceful spot to chill out and sun bathe on loungers next to pool. Never used the pool as still quite cold mid April.

The hotel asked for a 200 euro deposit in cash when checking in which was a pain, as we came home with that cash. Happy to give deposits but bank card would have been preferred. We also arranged airport pick up with the hotel which was 45 euro cash, however used Holiday Extra to book transfer back to airport as much cheaper. The 45 and 200 euro cash isn’t exactly an expense you want to be paying out as soon as you arrive. There were some problems with the drain in the shower therefore causing the shower base to overflow every time we had a shower however staff came to mop up and help clear it the first time.

Great location with lots of lovely restaurants, shops and bars within a few minutes walk, but nice and quiet away from the lively centre of town. Rooms and communal areas are clean, well-decorated and comfortable and perfect for what we needed. There is also a great pool area where we spent our entire stay, but the beach is also very close. Great views from the pool area too. Breakfast was perfect for us and lots of continental options. Staff were always friendly and helpful and worked every day we were there! The bar was nice for cold drinks to cool you down in the hot weather.

Although we loved the pool area, it needs more sunbeds for the size of the hotel, and fewer tables and chairs. They are nice for breakfast, but the remainder of the day, it really needs more sunbeds. The hotel bar could also do with offering a lunch option, even if it's just sandwiches. Having to go out for lunch every day when you're relaxed by the pool was a bit of a bit of a pain. A freezer with a selection of ice creams would also have been a nice touch. While the rooms were generally of a good standard, there were a few things that could be better, but it suited us perfectly nonetheless.
