Beautiful hotel, well maintained gardens and pool areas. Staff friendly. Spa is lovely and very clean. Rooms are spacious and well equipped.

If you need any help the delays are very long. ( we couldn't turn the TV off as the remotes where not working, this we reported to the reception but after waiting hours we went and bought some batteries, so we could turn the TV off and sleep at night, next day the staff turned up to ask if they could check our problem, not very efficient). The all-inclusive hotel is something that I like but here I wouldn't recommend, the breakfast is great but the dinners where not the highlights of the day. The selection is not the expected and the quality is far from being the best.

The food in the restaurant was not always hot. The options for breakfast was not as luxurious as promised.

The resort is very nice and big, plenty of space to walk

The staff needs to get more training and get conscious of what they are doing. Beds need to be checked because it seems the bedding is not big enough. There is a lack of Portuguese speakers, and because of that the description of the food was wrong many times. I would suggest to make covers on the food that is on the buffet in order to have still in the proper conditions and warm. This is 5 star property were some details need to be rechecked.

Could have been cleaner especially in the spa area. The room cleaning could also have been better. All in all though still good.

The resort is lovely, modern clean and lovely staff. It's in a good location and they provide a train down to central Alvor which is a nice touch. The two al carte restaurants are lovely and overall we enjoyed the food on offer.

Two main issues we had with the resort was the poor entertainment. As a adult couple with no children the entertainment was very lacking. Catered more towards children. We mostly ended up going back to the room to watch movies. The other issue was with some of the systems, check in was chaotic. And there was massive queues for drinks. Mostly taken up by people ordering multiple cocktails. As a couple who only wanted a beer and g&t/ wine we could be waiting 20 minutes to order. This was a similar experience at all bars including pool bar where the two servers spent most of the day walking up and down to the salty bar getting cocktails and leaving the pool bar unmanned. A specific cocktail bar in the evening may free up the other bar for more simpler orders.

The resort was very clean, NO LITTER anywhere. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The pools were immaculate, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Not too crowded even though it was a large resort. The food was plentiful and well presented with so much choice.

For a site as large as Tivoli Alvor, I appreciate that it is All Inclusive but I felt the shop could have been three times as large perhaps selling postcards and a few more souvenirs. It was very small compared with other holiday sites. I was surprised that there was very little entertainment for the small children earlier in the evenings. This could be improved upon and maybe perhaps a group playing popular songs a couple of evenings each week. The acrobatic acts were very enjoyable.

Nice relaxing resort. Great selection of pools. The entertainment has improved vastly. Big shout out to the entertainment team as they included both kids and adults in the afternoon workshops. Kids club staff are great.

Toilets by shore need to be tended to more. They are the closest toilets to 2 of the pools, so can be very wet at times with toilet paper missing. Food on the cold side at the buffet and very repetitive. Little food choice for kids in the restaurants. Service can be very slow in the restaurants. Not all staff seemed to be trained on the basics of waitering. Premier package is not value for money. There are no real perks other than premium drinks and the private breakfast service. If staying for.less than 7 days the other perks are not included, eg. Zoo marine tickets, spa vouchers etc. Black out blinds in the bedroom were mialigned allowing light in early morning which can disrupt kids sleep.

The hotel was a last minute booking for us and as the holiday went on we began to really appreciate everything the hotel offered. We all had a really good time. In particular, we really enjoyed the alternative restaurants that were available different to the buffet. The beach that the ‘train’ takes you too is also absolutely gorgeous. Nicer than the Albufeira beaches in my opinion.

Initially, I found the bed mattress very hard but requested a mattress topper which they were able to provide, which really helped
