Loved the location..lift or steps to the beach depending on your needs. Breakfast was fabulous, everything you could ask for. Staff very helpful. Amazing pianist played every morning during breakfast. Beautiful start to the day on the sun drenched terrace. Previous review mentioned weddings taking place..we were there while three weddings took place and it didn't affect our enjoyment at all. Nice to see the style!

Booked a superior sea view room and presumed this would automatically have a balcony but unfortunately not the case. The room was beautiful. Next time I will be aware of this.

Breakfast was great with a pianist every morning!! the staff were amazing. Location is great. We walked to Alvor most evenings - around 2km but an easy stroll. we also hired a car and visited Faro, Lagos, Loule and Sagres. We also did the Benagil caves. beautiful and all well worth it. You have private entry to the beach but they are all public beaches by law (respect!). Be aware that you need to book any sun lounges in advance or take a parasol with you. Call the hotel. the staff will help.

One pool for the size of the hotel is too small. people were hogging the sun lounges with towels even though they are not supposed to.

the indoor pool was a bit chilly and the sauna/steam room weren’t functioning all the time but were being made ready for the coming months so it’s not a complaint, just the only things making our wonderful stay not 100% perfect (but it was close!!)

The pool is at the right temperature and from the pool there are stairs(and an elevator) to go to the beach, it is really really close! on the beach there are beach clubs for those who want sunbeds and so on. The beach also offer many water activities that I strongly suggest to try! The view is really breathtaking I strongly advice to buy the breakfast voucher because it was a 10/10!!!!!!

The dinner buffet was really big but personally I didn’t like it a lot, considering the price (33€ without beverages)

Breakfast was great and room size was very good. It was a good family friendly hotel with an excellent pool and beach near by - nothing to dislike and was not pretentious. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

If hotel management had enforced the policy of towels on the chairs by the pool. The lounges by the pool were mostly taken by 8:15am but not occupied until much later in the morning … which was a little annoying!

Great staff throughout the hotel, really friendly and helpful, always smiling. Hotel is in a superb location, access straight onto beautiful beach and easy access to Alvor in the evening. Sea view rooms well worth getting. Very nice breakfast and pool bar food really good too. A great hotel all round.

Only disappointment, which perhaps falls more on the guests than the hotel, was the sunbeds at the pool. Whilst plentiful & pool staff really helpful, people were getting up before sunrise to put their towels on the sunbeds and very often they would be there all day unoccupied until they might want to use the pool hours later. We were a family of six but often couldn't even get one sunbed. I would suggest the hotel try and come up with a system or stronger enforcement for this not to happen. Just a bit frustrating...but certainly didn't take away from a great holiday.

The breakfast buffet was exceptionel with a variety of food and very nice presentation. Plus everything wsa delicious

When we order wine at the buffet at night it takes for ever to have the bottle. We went wt the restaurant of the hotel and we were very disappointed because again we order a bottle of wine and it took so long to receive it and the waiter bring the soup even we were not even start with the appetizers, it was a very bad service. The buffet at night was much better and a better service.

Breakfast was excellent each morning. Bed was very big and comfortable. Location was not great. It was a bit far from Alvor.

My wife was gluten free and evening meal was not great for her. Dinner was dry because there was no gluten free sauce available to her. In other hotels we stayed in abroad there was always a gluten free section available.

Breakfast was amazing , a huge selection of foods. Location and as fabulous overlooking the beach and has a lift that brings you right to the beach if you don’t want to walk the steps . Our room was large and the bed was massive , so comfortable and the pillows was soft . Staff were very friendly . The advance of having the indoor pool was a bonus as the outdoor pool was too cold for me .

Think the indoor pool area could do with a bit of refurbishment, maybe some plants as it look too industrial. Parking was fiddling at start in the hotel carpark and we had to keep an eye out for the high kerbs when opening the car doors .

Location was perfect beside the beach. Breakfast was great for the kids and great selection for all.

It would have been nice to have vending machines, especially for bottles of water. It was hard to get water unless you were prepared to pay 4 times more than you would in the town. We had a baby with us and depended on a lot of water for his bottles and food. Also, the connected room wasn't available for us when we arrived. We ended up having one adult in a single room paying twice as much as originally planned. The hotel couldn't help us with the cost because we went through booking.com and when we contacted them they wouldn't help. This would turn me off booking through this site in the future.
