First - this is a house-museum of Maria de Lourdes Pintasilgo (Former Prime Minister of Portugal) and her foundation Cearing for the Future. The house was bought for this foundation. And the money from our stay will go to the foundation. Great host - provided us with all support that we need. We felt like we are in our grandma's house. Some of the rooms are renovated, bathrooms are clean and new. We were also able to charge our electric car. The view to the ocean is really great. The place is quiet, has a private pool, and big territory - my kid was happy.

I have found a fantastic villa with convenient access to the ocean and easy transportation options from Sintra. The inclusion of various facilities like a swimming pool and a shared kitchen with modern appliances such as a dishwasher, oven, and washing machine is definitely appealing and adds to the overall convenience and comfort for guests.

Although there is a buffet breakfast, but it needs to be improved. Adding items like ham, sliced cheese, boiled eggs, and vegetables could indeed enhance the breakfast experience for guests. These options provide a wider variety of choices, catering to different dietary preferences.. Additionally, offering bicycle rentals could be a great idea to allow guests to explore the area more conveniently. Many travelers enjoy the freedom of exploring on bicycles, and it can be a wonderful way to experience the surroundings.

Well located, walking distance to different beaches, peaceful place to rest and recharge. The swimming pool was really clean and nice, and you can enjoy the view on the sea from the big terrace. The hosts are friendly and always ready to help and guide. There is a shared kitchen if you need to cook, a nice living room and all!

The breakfast is very minimal and could be more generous. If you like quality bread, eggs, jam, etc then bring yours 😌

Amazing place to stay, very close to everything you need, 20 minutes by car from Sintra, ocean is few minutes walk. Our apartment had it's own kitchen, and terrace with ocean view, the pool was great, we made use of the outside grill as well, everyone was very nice and friendly.

The local mosquitoes were terrible, definitely get a mosquito spray or something... :-)

The place is beautiful and clean, nice view from the rooms, big pool, extremely nice hosts, ~10 min to the beach by foot

the breakfast could use a bit of improvement, the whole house has a strong old smell and everything was damp and humid in the mornings (mid of september)

The place provides a family and informal environment from the beginning till the end. All the staff are very gentle people. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure. Thanks Dona Margarida, Domingos, Jucileia, Silvio and Antônio!

We were so happy here we extended our stay from 3 to 7 nights. Big terrace, nice pool with garden around it.

Room with a view was beautiful. Looking at the sun going down into the sea.

A little maintenance needed.

Good cosmetics in the bathroom, good tea.

- host was not present at my arrival. Was not answering my calls, WhatsApp, sms, gate was closed even though we agreed otherwise. If I had not asked the local bar owner to call the host on my behalf I would have never got in the house (it was 22:00) - mustiness and fungus felt in the room and the whole old house (furniture, walls, doors, windows, all). No clean air to breathe inside, in the result: problems with sleep, diarrhea, nausea (update - 2 days after returning home I'm stick sick, taking the medicines and lying in a bed. I hope this toxication ends soon.) - poor breakfast, almost nothing to eat, after Intervention got 2 slices of ham and cheese and 1 tomato next day - no hairdryer in the room.
