Super friendly staff that give you nice guidance on what to visit and where to go. We got a room upgrade which we really enjoyed. Room was brand new and fully equipped with an amazing view over the city. I think it was the best view you can get from a hotel in Serra da Estrela.

Hotel is being renewed still with some parts still seeming a bit dated. There is an obvious investment and intention to update and make it more modern. It is ongoing (no dust or construction work, but you can spot the difference from different areas that are more modern and others that are a bit more dated). definitely worth a visit.

The location is amazing, 5 mins drive to the centre and 15 mins to the Torre mountain pick. Excellent view and very good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Shower glass is very small and leaks which leads to water on the floor. Also the bathroom doesn’t have a socket as well as there are no sockets next to the bed. Technically there are, but they are under the bedside tables (which makes them difficult to access), but they are used for the lamps. Also would be good to have a kettle in the room.

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at this hotel and we were extremely satisfied! The hotel is situated on a mountainside, offering breathtaking views of the valley. There is a large beautiful pool in the courtyard. The rooms are lovely and spacious, with views of the mountains and the city below. They provide everything you need, including storage cabinets, a comfortable king-sized bed, a refrigerator, a television, a safe, a hairdryer, a makeup mirror, and plenty of outlets to charge all your gadgets. The breakfasts were delicious, with fresh fruits and local cheeses. For dinner, we were offered traditional Portuguese dishes and wonderful desserts. We were also very pleased with the hotel staff - they were extremely helpful and pleasant. We will definitely come back to this hotel again.

The welcome, friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The room had an amazing view over Covilhã and was quite confortable

Nothing special, but somewhat disliked the bathroom curtain being on the outside of the glass, making it possible for the person outside to open it and its semi-transparency. Ok for couples, would not feel confortable with friends.

Breakfast offered was both full English and continental style buffet and provided a lot of choice. The dinner menu was very good and the food cooked very well. The staff were hospitable and very helpful. The location is incredible, like something from a Bond movie!

The breakfast was amazing, the view was breathtaking, the staff was super nice The bedroom was very nice and comfy.

The tub had a small protection, so when showering the water would just go everywhere, also the water jets were not working in the tub.

Blessed with gorgeous weather that was the icing on the cake. Staff a little inexperienced but all could not do enough to look after us. Sunrise spectacular and pool setting magnificent. Food for breakfast and dinner excellent.

The location and the views are absolutely incredible. The staff were very friendly and fun to deal with. The room was clean with the best view I have ever had from a hotel room!

Note the name of the hotel at the front is different to that on the reservation so don’t worry about that too much

The food is modest, but because the hotel is far from the city, there is no choice. Expensive drinking water in the hotel. Better to take with you.
