The location was just perfect, inside the historic walled town. Was close enough to be able to walk to all the bar’s, restaurants and shops but far enough away so that it was nice and quiet at night. We stayed in the studio apartment and it was the perfect size for a couple. Loved that it had a balcony overlooking the pool area and the ocean, we had some spectacular sunrises! When we checked it, the staff were so lovely, extremely helpful and very thorough in providing directions to everything. Provided some great tips for dinner as well!

This is our first time in Portugal and staying in an apartment in Portugal, we didn’t realise that it came with no coffee or tea at all. Small thing, it’s just not what we are used to. Maybe when sending emails preparing people for check in, advise them of what is provided and they will need to provide the rest. Also the bath towels were very thin, low quality. Small things really that definitely did not take away from the whole experience.

The place had a great location and the apartment we had was gorgeous (especially the large roof terrace). The kitchen had most things you would need though didn't use itu h as so much good food on restaurants/cafes. Really easy for the beach and town, also the nearby spar is really useful. Staff were helpful but not obtrusive and the rest of the guests pretty quiet. All in all an ideal stay.

Parking was a bit of a free for all which is semi expected that near the beach. The pool was lovely but with loungers so close you felt guilty about actually swimming.

Great location on the edge of the old town. Easy access from main highways. Close to bars, restaurants, shopping, Marina, fabulous beaches within walking distance. Jessica was on the reception desk most days. She was the best!! So helpful and patient!!

Parking can be difficult when it’s busy. The rooms are a bit dated and ready for a refresh. Our two level one bedroom was clean, just kind of worn out. Stairs to the upstairs bedroom/bathroom are tight and slippery. Maybe not the best for young children or those with mobility issues. Pool was ice cold!

Everything was superb at Belauarte da Villa Apartments. We stayed in the one bedroom with roof top terrace unit and it exceeded our expectations. Technically, this room has two balcony patios but the view from the rooftop terrace with your morning coffee is worth it alone! Rooms were cleaned daily, providing new towels, or you could choose when you wanted them cleaned. The bed was large and comfortable with AC units both in the room and in the living room. The pool, though unheated, was beautiful and clean! The location is unbeatable. The staff was extremely helpful. I’d love to stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to Lagos.

Our only concern for travellers with any mobility issues is that you have to trek uphill to get there. Overall howeb=ver location was great. Very close t beaches which is what we wanted! And close to town centre as well. The reception was excellent!!!!!! She holds many hats there and did it all with a smile and was very helpful!! The kitchenette in the room was great. We had an ocean and pool view which we loved!

The only thing that might be of little concern was the hill to get to it, however we were abel to di it just fine and added to our exercise for the day!!! Pool is not heated so difficult to get in, Maybe during summer months it might not be an issue. It was warm enough outside for us to swim ,but pool too cold

We had a studio and one bedroom unit. The one bedroom is definitely very spacious and has a gorgeous view and balcony. It was a great space with beautiful views--I'd definitely recommend a stay! The location was excellent, highly walkable to all the restaurants and shops in Lagos. Would absolutely stay again.

The studio was smaller and (as mentioned elsewhere) on the pool terrace level so slightly less privacy and felt a bit damp at times but had a lovely patio. Not a dealbreaker but good to know if you have the option to choose between the studio and one bedroom, take the one bedroom!

If you want to rent an apartment in Lagos, this is a great option! I rented one of the multi-level apartments with a rooftop terrace, and found it perfect for any length of stay in Lagos. The apartments are within walking distance to the old town, beaches, and a grocery store (and each unit has a very serviceable kitchenette). The pool area was also nice; I would stay here again!

The reception desk is open limited hours, so keep that in mind when planning your check-in time. Also, the apartments are up on a hill, and require some steps to access (not really an accessible option).

This place checked all the boxes. Lovely, charming, convenient location within the walled old town. Walking to the beach and to the kayak tour location only took 5 minutes. Grocery store 5 minute walk away. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Loved having a sea view and also a pool at the apartment. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

There was nothing not to like. It was wonderful!

There were a lot of stairs! Stairs to get in, stairs down from the lobby, stairs over to the unit, and the unit itself is 3 stories with very narrow staircases (a bit challenging getting suitcases up and down). Our unit was in the middle of the set of units that had the top balconies - great view but also a view of your neighbors and you are in the view of you neighbors. That would have been great to know beforehand.

We loved the rooftop deck! The pool was amazing, although March was too early to really enjoy it. The location was perfect as it was a short walk from the town centre. The apartment was cleaned daily and all staff were very friendly!

It was difficult to carry all of our luggage to the apartment. There were many stairs to get to our apartment and then more to get to the bedroom. It would have helped to have staff to assist with luggage.
