As mentioned in other reviews, the location is just perfect. The pool and the view over the ocean are amazing, and it's just a short walk to the supermarket or into the old town. There seemed to be some kind of misunderstanding at check-in as Booking.com says check-in is until 00:00, and we arrived shortly after 19:00 and were given the impression the receptionist had been forced to wait for us so she could go home (although we had originally thought we would arrive between 16 - 1700 and had no opportunity to update the arrival time), in saying that she was very friendly however! No complaints :) There is no internet in the apartment, but it is possible to pay a €50 deposit and receive a router which worked fine.

The apartment could definitely use a renovation, or at the very least a new shower curtain and some new artificial flowers. It smelt quite strongly of furniture polish and like it hadn't been aired out in a while. Unfortunately, the washing machine was 'out of order' and the toaster didn't work. There wasn't any dishwashing detergent to wash the dishes or enough toilet paper, but they were perfectly happy to provide some when we asked. The water pressure was very weak and although housekeeping came, they didn't provide new towels until the day before we left - but that could have also been some kind of miscommunication. Some wine glasses, better coffee cups and some kind of map or information about the nearby facilities would have been very useful!

a spacious three-room apartment, well equipped, very close to the beach. Swimming pool with a wonderful view. Dona Ana Beach, a beautiful beach ideal for families with children, being sheltered from the wind. Access to the beach on stairs, difficult with the stroller. A supermarket at about 500m where you can wash clothes. Good and cheap restaurant at 300m.

the bed creaks

Great location, short walk into Lagos town, but far enough to be very quiet. Right above Dona Ana beach and short distance from Camilo Beach & Piedade Caves. Perfect place to base yourself for an Algarve holiday as everything in the whole region is within a 40 minute drive max. We went late May early June, just before the Summer rush....which in my opinion is one of the best times to visit the Algarve. Either then or September.

Little irritating that guests had to pay for the sunbeds next to the pool, but there's plenty of grass space around if you don't want to. Apart from that, we really liked our stay.

The pool is amazing with a stunning view over Praia do Dona Ana. The location is perfect, beachfront but only 15 minutes walk from town. The reception staff were fantastic and helped us with check in (showed us to our rooms) and check out (let us leave our bags at reception and use the pool for the day after check out). The rooms have stunning balconies with water views. The two bedroom apartment had two bathrooms which was great.

The rooms are very dated, as advertised. No air conditioning, or wifi (we kept the doors and windows open so not a huge issue). However, you don’t stay in Lagos to use the room, so the accommodation is sufficient and spacious. If you complain about the fixtures and amenities you weren’t out exploring enough! Also would not recommend the pool restaurant as the food is not very good, and takes a long time. Appears to employ student workforce. Room only replenished with toilet paper and a teatowel throughout our 4 day stay. Enough to get through.

Lagos is a lovely town in the Algarve and the apartment/resort is close to the old town and 2 min walk from the beach. It has a swimming pool but we didn't use it. Spacious apartment for 4 people, kitchen, lounge, dining room and terrace. In the two bed apartment we had two bathroom which was a bonus made our stay comfortable. Staff is nice and there's on site security overnight.

Ideally we wanted two double bedrooms but one of the bedroom was twin beds which you couldn't push together. Sea view was limited from the balcony, some rooms might have better view than ours. During the weekend there were some loud groups partying and the whole complex echoed of drunk tourist (but they left out around 11pm so we could still have a sleep).

Location is amazing, 5 mins walk and you are in Dona Ana beach (Praia de Dona Ana one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been). The train station is not far as well 25-30 mins walk. Supermarket is near too 500 meters. The city center 10 mins walk. Staff are kind and ready to help. There is no internet in the rooms but you can have a pocket router by leaving 50 EUR deposit which is FULLY returned when you return the router.

pool/view/accomodation were all very good. the pool card system was good. kitchen facilities in the property were good. air con was good, well needed.

we played tennis with terrible rackets and balls. its not expensive to get decent tennis equipment so maybe you could provide better rackets and balls. I think the sun loungers should have been free for guests too.

The pool at the resort was of excellent standard and was in a large enough area for adults to avoid the very excited kids in their own little pool. There was a lovely beach underneath the resort and several other beach's a short walk away. The town was a short walk away were there where loads of bars and restaurants, but it was very crowded. Around the resort there where some very good local bars and restaurants that served local food, pizza and even Indian.

The drains would stink in the morning

View and location were even better than I had imagined—with stunning ocean panorama and direct access (via stairs) to one of loveliest Algarve beaches, and wonderful coastal walking trail. Reasonable distance to Lagos old town, about 25 min walk. Some restaurants and grocery store were less than 10 min away. Basic but spacious studio room with kitchen, living area, small bedroom (comfortable bed) & good-sized bathroom.

Wifi only available in reception area. Bedroom a little tight to move around, patio door was hard to pull (mentioned this, so was told it will be adjusted).

excellent location, right infront of Dona Ana which is one of the best beaches, room was good size, clean towels, blankets, the pool was amazing!!

kitchen outdated, pool was great but they charged 3 euros for a pool lounge chair and the washroom of pool area had not paper nor maintenance..that said I would definitely go back to this hotel, no internet in the rooms but you can get a router if you leave a 50 euro deposit that they return when you give it back
