Location great. Great views from the balcony. Staff super kind and supportive. The area is very nice and you can find a lot of activities and entertainment. Great to visit and eat at Lagos Down Town. In one of the tour we saw the killer whales.

Very few to improve. We enjoy the place.

Location! Although the reception is 400 meters away at a different hotel, this hotel is in an excellent spot at this time - it's just a few meters away from the boardwalk that leads to the grottos and the lighthouse. The room - 702 - had a good sunrise view and tons of birds to be seen plus loads of room inside the apartment with a very large kitchen. It is on the side of the building facing the water so no building cranes were seen

As of February 2023 Lagos is in the midst of a building boom so cranes (not the birds) are almost everywhere, be warned. One thing we didn't like was that the reception was in a different hotel and what felt like a different part of town. When we saw that hotel we almost canceled the reservation - glad we didn't! The other is that the walls are very thin - we had few neighbors but could hear them when they were in the room. I'm sure they heard us too.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Villa Doris Suites. I had a 3 bedroom 2 full bath suite, with a balcony and stunning view of the ocean. The suite was cleaned, beds were made and fresh towels left daily. It was a 5 min walk to the beach and 10 minutes to delicious local restaurants. Old Town and the Marina are a 10 minute Bolt ride, which costs between €3.50-€5.00 depending on the time of day. I would highly recommend this place.

I honestly do not have anything negative to say about my stay. I know some reviews mention an abandon hotel next door, it was not an issue for me..

Excellent location & staff! We got an ocean view two bedroom apartment, as it was 6 of us. All the rooms, living room and balcony had a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was great, very helpful, gave us plenty of tips and helped us book some boat tours and kayaking sessions for our group. We even had some trouble with our sofa bed late at night around 11 when the reception in our unit was closed, but the staff was very quick to help us and walked over from the sister unit to figure it out for us. The location is perfect, a minute walk to the closest beach, and around 15 mins to downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would highly recommend to other visitors :)

The property is located right by the Donna Anna beach. The beach itself is very good. If you book the apartments with a view, you can see the ocean from the balcony. Note that from the second or third floor, the view may not be that good. We were on the sixth floor, and the view was good. The apartments have fully fleshed out kitchen, with enough utensils. We visited the local supermarkets and enjoyed homemade food from the balcony with a view. Bring some wine :) The apartment was spotless clean, and the cleaning lad did a very good and thorough job of cleaning the place everyday. The staff were wonderful. They helped us with covid tests, which was requirred at the time, and also helped us with the possibility of additional tests. We met Anna and her colleague, and they went above and beyond trying to help us. We will come back to this place.

Nothing much to say that is negative about this place. Sure, different people wish they had diffrent things, such as laundry instead of dishwasher etc, but the place is such a complete package that it is unfair to expect anything more. The apartment definitely exceeded expectations.

The view from the apartment is absolutely amazing. We had sea view in the sitting room, bedrooms and even the kitchen! I could have sit at the balcony/the sofa all day just admiring the view! the apartment is very clean and spacious. plenty of rooms for the children to play around. perfect location, it’s a stone throw from the lovely Dona Ana beach, and there is a walking trail along the coastline which is just outside the property. only 15 mins to town. we had very good quality food from those nearby restaurants recommended by the receptionist.

the underground car park is rather difficult to get in and out. we decided to park on the road - loads of space this time of the year and it’s free.

From the whole booking process they have been fantastic. My taxi was arranged and awaiting as my flight landed. Aswell as my return. They even brought booster seats for my children. Lovely friendly and welcoming staff. Very helpful and polite. The villa's are beautiful and it's about a 1 minute walk from the most famous beach. The area is super quiet which is ideal for me as I have had noisy stays which are unpleasant. I was catered to which was brilliant. My son has additional needs and my requests were granted. Very trust worthy as they stored my luggage, I called the neighboring Hotel which sent a lady to my room to collect and store my stuff. I didn't know where it was going but it was stored in the staff lock up. I also always set little traps to see if anyone enters mroom while out and I can assure you they don't. They are so lovely here. Don't be put off by the price. The place was immaculate and could've passed for 5 stars. You get what you pay for and this place is perfect. The old town and marina is about 15 to 20 minutes slow paced walk. In the old town there are bars, and so many restaurants you will find it hard to choose one. On the walk towards the marina you can book many tours or excursions which are fantastic. The hotel also books them for you but they don't give you great information as was told to be there on time and I was but missed my boat as you actually have to be there 15 minutes before the tour to be called on a register, luckily I was put the next one. Trust me I travel very frequently.

I had to think about this and that's a good sign. I have to point out I felt slightly cheated when I found out I would have to walk for 5 mins to a neighbouring hotel to use the pool and hot tub, considering I had my child that felt like a bother to do that as we would have to carry extra items and then feel like it was a public pool as we wasn't staying in that hotel. Also I wasn't shown that actually is a pool on this villa but I'm not sure if it was able to be used as no one mentioned it but the other pool was highlighted. As I asked for a place to get changed before flying back to my cold country I was shown a changing room where the pool and hot tub is. Maybe I should've asked. I will stay again despite that.

We had a beautiful sea view 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with a view directly at the Praia de Dona Ana beach, one of the Lagos area beaches with gorgeous rock formations and beautiful scenery. The apartment was wonderful with a huge balcony, large sitting area and full kitchen. It was very clean and cleaned daily by a wonderful woman who was so nice. The women at the reception area were wonderful and so helpful with recommendations and taxis, etc. Right across the street was the walkway to other beautiful views (Praia dos Pinheiros and the gorgeous Ponte da Piedade!). This was a superb location! Some nice restaurants nearby but we ubered or taxied into the old town Lagos in the evening which was very easy to do! Old town is beautiful with lots of restaurants, bars and shops and very quaint. We loved it!

I maybe should not mention this but this building is attached to an old abandoned resort that looks like something from a horror movie set. Don’t let that deter you! We hardly noticed it after the first time. It is somewhat of a novelty and tourist actually come down there to take pictures of it. Once inside the Villa Doris, you don’t really see it if you have a sea view balcony. The pool here is very small but you can use another one at another property which is very nice.

Very very nice accommodations and super clean. This beach resort suite with ocean views, balcony and even the tub we wanted exceeded our expectations. The only thing... the advertized hot tub was not operational. This was a super comfortable accommodation with lots of picture windows that gave it an open, airy look and feel, particularly since there were 4 sets of sliding glass doors and 2 large windows that all opened to bring in the wonderful ocean breeze; heavenly when we were sleeping each night

Our one room apartment wasn't ready on arrival, so we were given a two room for one night. Big difference!! Hard to downgrade after that. The woman at the reception was very nice. If you have a view on the beach, it's unbeatable. The view out the back...spend more time at the beach. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable, beach towels were provided. A two minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Great stay.

The view from the apartment facing the back wasn't inspiring. The pool area was nice but would have been better if the hot tob that was there was open for use.
