Location! Location! Location! Perfectly located to enjoy the old historic area of Lisbon on foot. Steps from the tram, numerous shops, restaurants, bars, markets! Well appointed kitchen with all we needed for breakfast and lunch in the apartment. The building was super quaint and really old - but the apartment inside was really nicely updated and outfitted. Manuel our host met us as arranged, walked us to the apartment and was really helpful getting us situated. He also recommended luggage storage, which was GREAT! Sibbir ran the store, Alfam Cork Gallery and Luggage Store, where we left our luggage - literally JUST across the street from the tram stop and only a couple blocks from the apartment. Sibbir's store also has some great souvenirs and good, reasonable prices. We walked all over Alfama and loved every step! Narrow, winding, cobbled streets and hills - lots of hills :)

Would have liked a bit more 'lounging' space. The floor was obviously swept, but not mopped - our socks or bare feet were dirty. A quick mop would probly resolve this.

The general location is adorable, lots of interesting things for a tourist to see and some exceptional bars/cafes/restaurants nearby. The apartment itself is clean, generous in size and felt safe and secure. The concierge greeted me personally at the start of my stay and had some nice tips/advice on what to do/where to go in the local area.

Honestly, finding the correct address was a challenge since the road is long and the houses are numbered very oddly. The immediate surrounding street are very hilly and quite steep at points, and the uneven cobblestones are difficult to walk on, made very slippery when it rains. The stairs into the apartment are very steep and difficult to bring up luggage. The air conditioning seemed rather subtle given it was summertime. I noticed a lot of street traffic during the night, so it maybe a bit too noisy for some people trying to sleep.

The location in Alfama was perfect for our trip. It was very clean.

The only downside was the the garage collector came each night between midnight and two am. With the windows open during the heat wave and no air conditioning, he woke us up each night.

The location is very nice. The apartment is small- not a bad thing, but just something to know. The space really is max for 3 people. Someone met us for handing over the keys. There is a functioning kitchen with minimum utensils.

It gets hot! I did read that a lot of other guests said the same but thought it wouldn't matter- but it does. The sun faces the apartment for most of the day and it becomes a bit of a sauna. Would be good if the property could provide a few more fans to increase ventilation. however- this isn't really the fault of the property- it is just what it is. Bathroom is small. 3 different people contacted me about check in and city tax- which was a bit overwhelming. it was a bit hard to get any Bolts to confirm in this location- so walk to a main road and call one.

Clean and modern space, the heater and extra blankets were a much needed addition as it was a chilly visit in January! Good location, and the shop at the end of the road had all the essentials. Kitchen well equipped, as others mention the shower appears slow to drain but didn't flood or cause an issue- despite leisurely showers. Vitor who met us was friendly and welcoming, WiFi was good, we really enjoyed our stay!

The space is small- more so than the photos appear to show. However it really was plenty for a short trip as a couple. Lots of noise from the street and upstairs guests- it wasn't much of an issue for us as good sleepers but for many I think it would have been a problem!

Excellent location. Very authentic Portuguese experience. If you’re looking to live like a Lisboan this is your place. If you want mod cons and have mobility issues then this is not for you. Would be very uncomfortable in summer as there is no air conditioning. We enjoyed the area very much and being able to walk everywhere. Manuel was very friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to eat and to see Fado.

The Shower head is loose and needs some attention. It would be nice to have a proper blind or curtain in the bedroom instead of a draped towel. A mirror would also be useful in the bedroom.

Location is excellent (keep in mind that it's a limited traffic area, therefore having a car/rental car will not be the most convenient option), apartments were clean an cozy, decently equipped kitchen, if you want to cook something on your own while staying here. Quiet street, but restaurants and tiny "supermarkets" are just around each corner.

Capsule coffee machine was not working, but there was espresso pot available which I actually prefer comparing to capsules :)

Excellent location, only a short walk from the Se and in a very charming area. Very comfortable apartment with everything I needed, including kitchenette facilities. The team I was in touch with and met re organising the booking, check-in, concierge service, all absolutely fantastic - very responsive with any questions. It was also helpful having 2 mercados very closeby.

I liked everything!! Absolutely nothing not to like.

The location was super. Right in the heart of the old town and close to lots of amazing restaurants, the river and hill top views of the city. It's also near the old yellow tram stops and not far from the metro and bus to travel into the other side of the city. The apartment was clean, reasonably well equipped and comfortable for a short stay. The main bedroom was a good size and huge bed with plenty of room to store cases and clothes. Kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals and there were lots of mini marts nearby that were open late for provisions.

We stayed for a week and was possibly a little small for us and our teenage daughter who slept on the sofa bed in the living area. Thankfully the weather was amazing and we didn't need to hang around the apartment too much but it was a little squashy to eat a meal in as not much living space and daughter would have preferred a little privacy and a full length mirror, but we are being picky. We knew this when we booked.
