Steady pace 6 minutes walk from RATO Metro station, exit the station look for "Lebanese Corner". Going uphill, making sure you keep this restaurant on your right. Then take 2nd right, 1st left (adjacent to Jardim das Amoreiras/Jardim Marcelino Mesquita), then 1st right Hotel 150 yds straight ahead on the right. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of town. It is clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast, and good sized rooms with in my case a power shower as good as I have in my own home. I was on the 5th floor, facing south with a fine panoramic view from Castelo de St Jorge around to Cristo Rei. Note, you probably won't get this view on the lower floors. There is also a bar that opens in the evenings adjacent to the large lobby, where there is plenty of seating. All in all a good hotel and should definitely be considered if and when taking your Lisbon break. The staff are top notch as well!!

Nothing comes to mind. I was on a 5-day break to Lisbon, so think I had enough time to evaluate, what I didn't like. The weather was good as well!!

The location is near Rato metro station, place around the hotel has everything you need. Breakfast is HEALTHY and good. Staff is professional and kind

Check in at 17.00 it’s completely unacceptable mainly cos check out is at 11-12 but ok, they allowed me to drop the bags. This is probably a general thing round the area, though. First day I found sheets smelling like someone slept and they were not replaced. There’s a bad smell coming from the toilette but it is not a matter of being clean or not, Guess it’s a problem of the area. Still not good. No bidet in the room. No water or other beverages on the fridge in case of need.

This is a modern hotel close to the Marques de Pombal roundabout. There are three metro stations within about a 10-15 minutes wal. If you walk from the roundabout the hill is steep. The hotel classifies itself as three-star. The price was reasonable for, although presumably would be more in summer. The room is modern. Everything worked, no difficulties. The bathroom has everything but is cramped. You have to close the door to sit on the toilet. The shower does not have a closing door so water on the floor no matter what. There were two twin beds pushed together. That was fine but seemed a little odd. There is a basic breakfast buffet included. It covers a range of choices, although I would have liked to see some granola.

The window in my room didn’t close properly, it was not a major problem, although I should really have let the hotel know.

The hotel room was clean and spacious and great value for money. The breakfast was very tasty in the mornings. It was a very good location close enough to metro stops(Rato or Marquês de Pombal)but also was not a crazy long walk into town. Taxis to the main restaurant areas were only about 6€. However my preferred way to get around was the metro as you get a day ticket you can keep topping up and it’s 1.65€ to go anywhere on any line, super value. The hotel stored our bags on the last day as our flight was late in the evening. There is also a tiny shop very close by as well as some restaurants if you don’t fancy going into town.

While the staff weren’t impolite, they weren’t overly friendly either but in fairness that could have just been a language barrier. The obviously recently took out the pool and I think that is a shame, would have loved a swim in the evenings after walking around in the heat all day long.

Hotel was very centrally situated making it very easy to access historic and touristical places . Added to the fact lisbons largest shopping centre armoreiro is just a short walk away where you can spend a full day of shopping ,eating or going to a movie. Many grand brand names are to be found here. Hotel is also just 15 minutes drive from airport and train stations

Loved everything even the cool weather

Everyone from the staff was super friendly! There was always someone at the front desk so I never had to wait to obtain information! I was also allowed to leave my luggage after check out (I was attending the last day of a congress and it was a peace of mind knowing I could leave my luggage safely in the building! My room was spacious for a 1 person room, neat, clean, with a nice, comfortable bed and the shower had good water pressure and temperature control! The breakfast was, in my opinion, nicely varied & with good options! The cappuccino from the automatic machine was tasty and I also quite liked the mini croissants that tasted fresh every morning! I also quite like the vintage style ! Definitely very good price quality!

Nothing to point out !

Clean, safe, close to different kinds of public transport. Did not try breakfast, so I would not know. There was no bad smell during my stay. Maybe one morning, but it went away by the time I came back later in the day. Also, you can very much hear the airplanes land. Closing the windows will help a bit, but you will still hear them. But I think that the only way you could escape that in Lisbon is staying outside of the city, as the airport is in the city. That being said, for those passionate about planes, it is a good hotel to plane spot. You will see every landing plane but not the ones taking off (no A380's here, but you will see the ocasional 777 or Dreamliner - from top floors, street view).

Location wise I think it was well placed. Travel to most parts of the city are 20-25 mins at max. You have train and bus options in a 500 m radius. The hotel is fairly good on value of money. The room is quite tiny, but sufficiently furnished. A single bed, open wardrobe, night side table, a slightly larger desk with sitting stool, a TV and of course attached bathroom. No balcony, just a single window. I had breakfast included in my stay and the breakfast was surprisingly sufficient with a small selection of breads, cold cuts, eggs, cereal and fruits. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Tiny detail - the colour of the room (dark green) can make the room duller esp with minimal lighting

The location is very good, close to a metro station and in a quiet street near the charming Praça das Amoreiras. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. An uncrowded Lisbon tram line has a stop less than 5 minutes from the hotel.

There were no real negative points. The windowless breakfast room lacks soul, the white coffee machine uses powder milk, which I find terrible but which is unfortunately becoming the standard in hotels in many countries. The lifts could do with a renovation/upgrade. But none of this was a serious problem.

I had an extremely wonderful stay at the Amazonia Lisboa Hotel.   The staff were pleasant and warm from my arrival.  On my first night Joao Leandro went above and beyond to assist me with all queries and did so with a level of professionalism which was next to none.  Joao is a real asset to this establishment and extremely good at his job.The day time manager was also very forth coming with offering information and guidance on how I traveled around the city.  The room was spotless, clean and had beautiful decour.  The room was cleaned to perfection every day. The breakfast buffet was delicious, best breakfast buffet I have experienced in Europe. Thanks to all the staffs for making my experience worth while. I will definitely be back.
