Magnolia guesthouse is a very stylish building with nice Rooms, equipped with all You need during stay.The owner of the place is there to help you every time u need, a lovely Lady. Its easy to access all attractions: bus stop downstairs...metro station in close distance. Breakfast was very good ! Its very clean and neat

The room was big and comfortable with 2 beds,the only downside is that it was facing a busy road which meant that it had a bit of road noise in the evenings. I solved this by closing the window to stop the noise and it worked. The bathroom was shared with 2 other rooms in the guesthouse and it was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was served every morning from ca 08.30 to 10.00 and it had everthing you needed,including bread,cereals,brioche and more. The staff Raquel and fatima was wery helpful in every way. I would like to stay there again in the future.

Everything - especially the generous size room 😃 Comfortable, clean, everything excellent. The information from the proprietor about getting to the guest house, entry etc was fantastic. The private bathroom was spotlessly clean. I loved the individuality of the décor - one very good reason why I like to avoid a big hotel.

Nothing - I loved it all. It is hard to criticise a well run, welcoming and lovely accommodation, which is so well placed for a first time visitor to find the way to the main historical attractions.

The room was big and very clean, and the location was good. while a little far from the water, it was generally walkable to everything we wanted to do and see.

The fact that the private bathroom was in the hallway was a major downside and not adequately disclosed in the description. Having to leave our room to use it (and thus ensure we were in clothes appropriate for a common area) was a big negative. They were renovating the front while we were there. Not a big deal but not great. the area outside the front of the building was a bit dirty.

Raquel is a perfect host, responsive and conscientious. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location cannot be faulted, and there’s a bus stop on the doorstep, and metro within a few minutes walk. Raquel provides handy tips for places to eat and things to do.

The only small thing is the noise from the street. It is really busy and doesn’t really ever get too quiet. Absolutely no fault of the host, it’s the trade off for the location. I merely mention it so the more sensitive remember to take ear plugs :)

Clean, good sized room, great location, friendly staff. Raquel was very helpful with instructions for entering the building and in arranging a taxi for our trip to the airport.

The bed was very low and the mattress was soft and lumpy. It was particularly soft in the centre resulting in the sleepers rolling toward the middle. If you have an aging back or just prefer a firmer mattress, this is not the bed for you. Other than that the everything was just as we expected.

The rooms are super clean and airy.... the view from the common room and bed rooms is awesome. The host is very friendly and gentle. The check in was smooth, secure and hassle free. She was very kind enough to let us keep our luggage for the day, after our check out. I definately recommended stay. Its a five star from me....

My short stay..... as the place was fully booked. I would have loved to stay longer. May be next time.

This was a pleasant surprise. The communication with the hotel owners was excellent. The bedroom was more than spacious, a four-poster bed was a bonus. Plenty of cupboard space. We had a separate shower/toilet, but this was for our use only. Breakfast was okay, plenty to eat and drink which set us up for the day. The room/toilet were bright and clean, as was the breakfast area. No complaints from our stay.

The hill climb from the metro station marquess de Pombel was hard going. There are buses but you have to cross a busy dual carriageway to get to it.

The host is very friendly gave us a lot of useful information for the restaurant and to visit the city. She seems to know almost everything ;) We have also been able to put our luggage earlier, thank you ;) The appartment is cleaned everyday, bathrooms also. It is located near all the public transport and it is very useful. Breakfast are good also.

The appartment near a big road and it can be very noisy if you are sensitive like me. Also our matress had a dip. Maybe it could be necessary to change it in the future ;)

I appreciated that the host cleaned our room even though we stayed only two nights. Even though the bathroom was shared, it was kept very clean and easy to access. We could store our luggage for a couple of hours after check-out while we went to pick up our rented car.

The room was quite noisy, our window faced the main street and it did not insulate the sound enough.
