The location was perfect at the top of a hill. It took about 30 minutes to walk downhill to the river front, but there are numerous buses directly outside that will take you to the centre of Lisbon. Staff were very friendly and professional. It was a real bonus to have a dining table in our room furnished with plates, cutlery, and glasses. After a long day of sightseeing, it was great to take advantage of the spa facilities, which included a lovely pool.

The only thing that was disappointing was that the pool and spa facilities closed at 7.30pm. This meant that if you did a day's sightseeing, you would be pushed to get back in time to use the facilities. It would be great if they could keep the spa and pool open later until 9.00 or 10.00pm.

We shared a room with 3 people and it was comfortable. So the size is good enough to accommodate for that. Beds were super comfy. The VIP lounge at the rooftop was a nice place to go and chill at the end of the day, with free non-alcoholic drinks. The sauna/gym area was nice as well, but if you want a massage make sure you book in advance, otherwise you might not get a spot.

The pool was a bit small and looked like those from Motels - a bit odd. Staff was friendly in the beginning, but seemed a bit bored when asked a few more questions. Helpful, but lacked the genuine willingness to give support. But what bothered me the most was when having dinner. We were asked to stay close to other tables, all the while we saw many other tables that were empty but we were not allowed to use. The excuse was that they were reserving those for the next day's breakfast. That made no sense. I also heard other people complaining about this same thing. If guests want to stay a bit far from each other, let them. Give them privacy. That's what's expected from a hotel of this caliber.

Spacious room. In our room there was also an ironing table with iron! Nespresso machine was a good choice. Very helpful staffs with big smiles, but reception people were not that much friendly.

I knew checking was at 2pm. but I arrived 2 hours before to leave my luggage and come back later. I arrived at 3:30 and our room was not ready yet, I waited another 35 minutes to enter my room. Hotel was very crowded and reception was busy with all customers, but waiting for 2 more hours to get into the room was not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. Hard to find the address.

We drove from Porto to Lisbon and it was a relief not to have to drive through Lisbon to reach the hotel. The parking, for our large 4x4 was easy and there was the offer for the hotel staff to park for us. The concierge and lobby employees were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was on the 15th floor and was very quiet both from external and internal hotel noise. Breakfast was excellent especially the coffee served from the espresso machine at the bar. The hotel is a good 20 minute walk from the centre but there are good tram and bus links and a taxi was no more than €10 including a tip. Our stay coincided with a special birthday and we’d like to extend our thanks for the special attention we received particularly from Paulo Mesquita.

Location was ideal for us, for we desired a quiet, restful night's sleep in a clean, spacious room that if needed we could feel safe walking 10 minutes to & from a Metro or Tram early or late. Absolutely felt safe in Hotel Dom Pedro and the surrounding area. What beautiful views from the amazing 19th floor window! Every hotel employee we interacted with greeted us with a smile, answered our questions, were capable & courteous. Enjoyed making an espresso in the room while preparing for the day & then enjoying a breakfast in the dining area before setting out on daily adventures. Four tables contained breakfast fare to meet everyone's tastes. Kudos to the attentive staff who tend to travelers during the busy breakfast buffet - attentiveness, hustle, teamwork, flexible - we were so impressed with you all! Our gratitude to the hotel housekeeping staff for maintaining the lovely room throughout our extended stay (chocolates on pillows ;). Professional, efficient check-in and check-out.

The staff is polite and helpful. The did everything possible to make out stay comfortable and fun.

The hotel location is not the best. If you are planning to walk is pretty far away from main attractions and historical center. The WIFI in this hotel Does not work!! I had to call every day the front desk, and truly they couldn't help us. If you are planing to work you may want to consider another place.

Overall, my stay was enjoyable, and I want to express my gratitude to the staff, particularly Carina Mateus, for making it a truly memorable experience. First and foremost, I must commend the exceptional customer service provided by Carina Mateus and the entire team. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay were truly commendable. You don’t find this level of service in a lot of five star hotels. One aspect that stood out during my stay was the excellent breakfast. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the quality of the food was top-notch. The attentive staff in the breakfast area maintained a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a delightful start to each day. Also, hotel is close to a shopping mall and location is good.

Despite the positive aspects of my stay, I observed that the hotel's furniture and carpets remained unchanged since my previous visit. An updated and well-maintained furnishings would significantly enhance the overall guest experience but again this would hike up the price. However, I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating, the room spacious, the bed very comfortable which I really needed after the week I had and the long travel. The morning I woke up went for a swim - pool opens at 9 am, which was a little late for me but okay. Then a delicious breakfast which accommodated vegans. I had help with my luggage to and from my room and could enjoy the VIP lounge until I was ready to leave after check out. Thank uou so much for your wonderful hospitality - sometimes it is worth paying that bit extra for a quality stay.

It would have been nice to go for a swim earlier in the morning than 9am.

A very luxurious place. The water pressure was impeccable. A long shower can double as a massage due to its power. The view was magnificent... felt like gazing from the top of a small mountain. The hotel is close-by to pretty much everything I needed, from produce markets to vegetarian restaurants to lovely gems like the national museum+botanical garden. The breakfast was pretty nice, with plenty of fresh fruits. The front desk attendants were all so helpful, they all spoke English also which saved me since my Portuguese is nowhere near fluent yet.

Nothing really. Using the card to unlock the upper floors is an excellent security feature. I didn't realise it was a thing since the front desk clerk didn't say, but there is a note in the elevator so I was the one who didn't pay attention😅

everything was comfortable and clean. loved the fact that they replenished bottled water and fresh fruit for the longevity of our stay. The chocolate every night waiting on our pillows was an extra touch of old school hospitality! staff was very friendly and always willing to help. the hot tub could have been hotter, but the steam room and sauna were on point. a bit of a distance from the tourist parts of the city, but Uber and Bolt are so cheap it really doesn’t make a difference. overall a great experience for the price!

hot tub was luke warm.
