The location is perfect, close to the university I had a conference and to the park. Room 512 is very comfortable with the view on Jesus Christ statue and beautiful sunsets. Room is very well furnished, modern, equipped with all facilities, clean, and cozy. Staff is very helpful, friendly and kind. If not this hotel and the perfect staff I wouldn't be able to visit all the attractions of the beautiful Lisbon. I think the hotel SMY is the only hotel I know that has free shuttle for its guests and gets them to the city centre and back and even more, the driver is a very pleasant guide who tells very interesting and unknown facts about the Lisbon. The hotel has a gym also free for the guests. I recommend SMY hotel to every tourist wishing to visit Lisbon! Love SMY!

We were pleasantly surprised about the quietness of this place! That was our #1 request and we had 9 nights of good sleep in a very comfy bed! We were happy with the breakfast; yes, some people mentioned it before, the layout is pretty much the same every morning but there is a lot of variety. The friendly staff worked hard to make sure refills were made quickly and tables were cleaned too. Our room had everything we needed, and we actually loved watching the planes flying over it through one of our 2 giant windows : there are a lot of them, but you don't hear much. Lots of TV channels and excellent wifi. One elevator out of order, but the other one worked fine during our whole stay. We booked that hotel for its location, we had business to do in the area, but we ended up liking the neighbourhood and the huge park nearby, with great views. Grocery stores are 15 min. walk away, and laundromat is 2 min. walk.

Like other travellers mentioned, the carpet in the room needs a deep wash ASAP. The furniture is a little bit tired too, considering you're in a "4 star hotel". The shower needs to be scrubbed better : I took care of a corner myself and with just a small piece of paper, I was able to clean some mold. So that could definitely be better!

Nice hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge. The downstairs bar was a nice place to relax and have a nightcap. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Our room was spacious and had a good sized balcony which was great. Nice restaurant just over the road called Restaurante Valencia.

The rooftop bar is not open even though there is info all over the hotel inviting guests to try it and only one lift to the upper floors was working which caused congestion at times. The bed was big and comfy but the bottom sheet was too small for the bed (a double sized sheet perched on top of a king-sized bed?). Everytime you moved it moved too.

We liked the hotel very much and the staff were courteous and friendly, they answered all our questions. the breakfast was good and there was a lot of choice. Would stay here again if I went back to Lisbon. They are right over the flight path and fly pretty low, which is kind of exciting and noisy but it didn't bother us, keep your windows closed if you don't like the noise as they start pretty early in the morning.

About a 40 min walk into the centre but you get your steps up :-)

My friend and had an excellent stay at Smy Lisboa! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The location was central and guests at the hotel were given access to a free shuttle service into central Lisbon which was a very cool perk of our stay. We were given tips by the driver Rafael (who was a star!) and taken close to the main train and bus stations we needed to get to for our excursions out of the city. The free breakfast had a wide range and the staff was lovely and inviting. Also, I loved that the room came with a balcony too. Definitely recommend staying here!

The only downside we encountered was that the main lift was sometimes in use and other times not. The staff let us (and other guests) use the alternative lift in the back room so we wouldn't have to climb up to the fifth floor. Not ideal, but definitely didn't put me off the hotel at all.

We stayed in Smy Lisboa for 3 nights. Our room was on the last floor with a great terrace which we liked a lot. The hotel is located approximatelly 3 km from the city centre in a good neighbourhood near the park. It is possible to walk but for the way back we usually took Bolt. The hotel also has a driver who can take you to the centre. We discovered it on our third day and we really appreciated him because he also recommended us what to visit. The staff of the hotel was nice and helpfull.

In a four star hotel I would appreciate a small body cream. A carpet could have been cleaner.

The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from 2 metro stations (but uphill) so easy to get to the hotel and to the city centre - also close to a few bus stops. A few minutes walk from Parque Eduardo VII - worth visiting for a walk and glass of wine in one of the few bars/restaurants there. Very helpful & friendly staff - really nice people. A few times a day hotel is offering free transfers to & from the city centre. The room was not very small but not so big - good for two people. The area is nice - restaurants, a lot of cafeterias & nice park - also a view of airplanes approaching Lisbon Airport (rooms are really quiet)

Unfortunately, breakfasts are not great - during 6 days of stay nothing has changed, every day was the same type of food, lack of variety at all. Music during breakfast - very annoying (melancholic, slow, yelling covers). One lift (of two) was broken so in the morning / evening waiting time was long.

The room had everything you would need for a short stay trip, not a great deal to fault to be honest. It was quite a small room, for a couple it would be a little cosy, I was a solo traveller so perfectly fine. Bathroom was huge

The room itself was quite hot, made sleeping quite hard, even when I set the thermostat to cold. Thought the room was supposed to have A/C, not the case. That said leaving the window ajar until night helped, if a little noisy as on the flightpath of Lisbon airport.

We were half board and the variety of food for breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Shuttle service into town was very useful and staff helped with recommendations of where to go Room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable Staff were 10/10 friendly and supportive, they made a great effort to ensure we were satisfied and remembered our birthdays <3 We could stream films from our devices to the TV WiFi was excellent! Rooftop bar had a good atmosphere and was reasonably priced, nice staff there too Good equipment in the gym Cool water available

The location wasn't too close to the town centre but there were good transport links nearby and the free shuttle service available from the hotel. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were watery - would be helpful if they were cooked longer. I'd hope in future they would have veggie protein options like veggie sausages and burgers! Shower leaked on bathroom floor because there was no shower curtain (Would still give the experience a 10/10 as these things are minor and didn't affect our experience).

Had such a lovely stay in the Smy. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were so clean and modern and the location was perfect. Not far from many forms of transport. There was a free shuttle bus that left the hotel a few times a day and went downtown. This was a service I didn’t see in any other hotel and I highly recommend choosing Smy even just for that service. The breakfast was included in our rate and was perfect for what we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The only problem I can think of was the shower in the gym. We had a late flight so we returned to the hotel a few hours after check in to get a shower and refresh. The light in the shower kept turning off and I was in complete darkness unless I waved my arms like a maniac every 10 seconds. Other than that everything was perfect and I would highly recommend staying here.
