- It is a pet friendly hotel and all the staff was ultra welcoming to ours. They provided a bed and bowls for his water and food - Breakfast has lots of variety and live cooking - Location is perfect for sightseeing - Modern and comfy rooms - Lots of plugs in the room and bathroom - TV in the room has chromecast already attached. You can watch your streaming services in the big screen.

- Be aware that parking is not available in the hotel but public parking is availabale nearby and on weekends and public holidays you can park in the street in front of the hotel for free. We already knew beforehand so not exactly something that we didn't like, just a heads up for other possible guests.

came to Porto to celebrate our sons 1st. birthday and Catalonia couldn’t have been better from the facilites being beyond comfortable and classy even for a family room… the staff had been nothing but exceptional from the receptionists to the barman outstanding customer service

Spa… for adults only so my husband and I couldn’t use it as we came with our 2 kids a 6 year old and a 1 year old

This is a stylish and pleasant hotel, with great access to the center of Porto. I love that the gym is available 24/7! The room was spacious and the bathroom seemed very luxurious with the wood floor and large shower. The staff was helpful and had a room ready for early check-in.

I would like for the restaurant menu to offer more vegetarian options. The gym could use a fan, as the exercise room is very hot. Also, there should be some blinds for privacy in the gym because it is very visible from the street. The pool should have longer hours. The ''spa'' is not really a hot tub, but rather a small pool with jets.

Great location, easy to walk wherever we needed. Staff were brilliant, so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was a good size, well equipped and very comfortable (great pillows!), Bathroom also well stocked and the shower really powerful with 2 head options. Fully stocked mini bar with complementary water and coffee. We even had an unexpected balcony! We were only there for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer and used more of the facilities. I would definitely stay here again when next in Porto (which is just such a beautiful city - wow!)

Only a couple of tiny things. Bathroom was a little small, nothing major though - and could have done with flannels included.

No breakfast taken. Location great for the city, hilly for the river, but perfect if you don’t mind walking. All staff very helpful, reception lovely, Marianna checked us in, she was very informative and welcoming. All other staff, bar, and room service friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. We were more than impressed. We had lunch a couple of times on the terrace, a peaceful break and lovely food. Quite a tranquil area in the heat of the day, with some shady tables. Superior room, quiet, large & a very nice bathroom.

Reception staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome especially Thiago. Our room was very comfortable, the hotel is on a busy street but the soundproofing ensured you could not hear the noise from the traffic. There was a safe in the room. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choices. Location was perfect, the hotel is situated close to bars and restaurants and you can walk everywhere. The metro is 5 minutes walk away, a really great stay.

Perfect location walking distance to everything (City v hilly). Our room was noisy when the windows were open, but miraculously silent when they were shut. Amazing to have a pool area (albeit small) in a city hotel We appreciated having a small but well equipped gym after all the pastries we ate!

Breakfast was nothing special and expensive compared to rest of the City. I would recommend not having it included and going out - much better, and cheaper!

Lovely and clean, fab little spa, nice to have an outdoor pool and hot tub included in the facilities. The staff were all very helpful and polite. Would stay again.

The reception was advertised as 24hr which was important to us as we were attending a music festival that ran into the early hours of the morning - however on 2 nights there was nobody at the desk and we had to wait quite a long time for someone to come and let us in.

The location was central and close to shopping and dining options. The room was a good size and efficiently laid out. The bed was super comfortable.

Bathroom had a moldy smell. Front desk staff were polite but on multiple instances gave the impression that they were too busy to answer questions. For example, when we asked for restaurant recommendations at check-in, we were told to come back later.

Very clean, lovely and helpful staff from front desk to bar staff. The hotel is also located in a convenient area and not far to walk to the sights of Porto, two minutes from supermarket and restaurants also close by. I did have the veggie burger in the bar on one night and that was lovely. We have stayed in a Catalonia hotel before and would certainly stay again.

There is nothing I can fault with hotel for our stay.
