A nice hotel in the centre of Porto. Although the room looked a bit old, it was comfortable.

Only two things: 1) there's a sign in the hotel's entrance that indicates that pets are not allowed in the property - one night as I entered the hotel a dog runned to me barking / 2) As I had a very early flight I was told to reception to wake me up at 2 a.m. but they never did. I think that the owners should be more careful with property rules and customer service.

Room was clean and tidy, we even had two showers! Breakfast every morning was good as well and staff were friendly. We could easily walk into town, about 20 to 25 minutes. Would recommend staying here.

Personally beds were a bit hard for us (not the end of the world) and there were a few mosquitoes (not something that can be easily controlled and we left our window open for fresh air).

It's a small hotel, with a beautiful garden, and with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was also small, but perfect for couples arrived for sightseeing. Most of the sights can be approached by walk. There are plenty of cafes nearby, an there is also a small shop not far from there. Absolutelly recommended!

The walls are too thin, anything what happens in the next room, can be heard clearly.

Very good location in center of Porto.

English should be at least spoken in average level by staff. My flight was delayed, I contacted hotel that I will be late and arrive 15 min after check-in ends, but person who took the phone said he does not understand. When I arrived the front door was locked, but fortunately there was doorbell, so I could check in. I travelled alone, so it was not problem for me, but shower and toilette were together located in tiny cupboard, so being tall person I needed to open the door to sit properly.

The view on the balcony is beautiful; the sunset is amazing. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly, apart from the woman who did our check-in. We needed help with our luggage but she did not help us. The garden is cute, and the area outside with tables and chairs is beautiful.

No lift. Our room was on the third floor, and the person who did our check-in did not help us with the luggage. My mum with 65 years old had to help me with the 4 luggage. The room we stayed did not have windows. I missed a bit of fresh air in the room. There was a "window" on the roof but not available to open, only to enter sunlight what was not so good since we wanted to sleep till late on Sunday but since there isn't curtain the room couldn't be dark enough

I liked everything. Small and cozy room with everything required (our towels and paper drinking cups were changed daily). The room included an air conditioner and a ceiling window which was opened by remote control. Simple but tasty breakfast with delicious croissants! Very friendly staff, and perfect location (city center close to the Trinidade metro station)

I enjoyed staying at Hotel Estoril Porto a lot! Lovely place in the downtown, literally in the center of everything. Very friendly and understanding stuff, helped to manage my delayed arrival in most comfortable way 😀

I loved how central the location was to many attractions. I could easily walk to where I wanted to go (Ribeira, Mercado do Bolhão, Jardins do Palácio Cristal, Casa de Música) within 10-30 minutes.

The water in the shower pooled at my feet as soon as I turned the water on.

Having a quiet drink in the beautiful garden after a day's sightseeing. The warmth of the welcome at this family hotel. An excellent city location.

The only minor criticism was the automatic light in the en-suite. A 1st world problem!

Charming and with its own personality, a unique hotel that is not a chain and is unique to Porto. the garden is beautiful and full of roses, the view from the balcony is stunning. The hotel is extremely quiet - quieter than our own home. Hotel Estoril is a timeless wonder and great value for money. I loved it and am going back next week!

we forgot to book the breakfast in advance - so we went to one of the 18 nearby cafes instead.
