The desk staff was great. They were able to provide advice on the best way to get to the sites that we really wanted to see and helped arrange transportation. Very proficient with English.

The room had very little storage space for clothes. The shower did not drain well, so that in the morning I would be stepping into cold water to turn on the shower.

Great breakfast with fresh orange juice, fruit and bread. Choice of cheese, smoked salmon, smoked ham, .... . Eggs, bacon, pancakes on request. Friendly staff. Helpfull looking for rental car, bus itinerary. Superb location in middle of old district. Rooms are spacious.

Beds could be more comfortable but acceptable. Location - when having rooms in the back - is directly facing police station and hard club (free podium for musicans) which can be noisy at night. But noises die down after midnight. (only issue with open window).

The location was great right next to the river and just a walk down from the main part of town. The breakfast was incredible: delicious fresh fruit, ample options, eggs made to order and even a Cappuccino if you like! Was given a welcome glass of port in the downstairs bar. Staff was so incredibly nice, friendly and helpful to answer any questions.

I was given a room which was an upgrade in space, not with a view but I wouldn't have liked to have been on the street side. The bathroom was up several steps which might not be easy for everyone. The shower was big but the shower floor was not inclined so the water couldn't drain completely. Perhaps they could include something to be able to push the water into the drain.

great location, 100 m from the Bolsa palace and the san Francisco church. we stayed in the suite on the 5th floor - very comfortable with a decent terrace. staff very nice and helpful. breakfast was ok. for parking use the car park down the road (not the close underground one), it is 5 minutes walk from the hotel and charges 20 EUR for 72 hours (and not 50 EUR for 24 hours like the close one)

dining room small and quite crowded, service at breakfast very slow. i waited 15 minutes for refill of the coffee can, and almost left without drinking

Absolutely everything! I booked this trip for my parents and I could not be happier with the choice, the staff are fantastic, kind and efficient. To all from the kitchen , reception and housekeeping my sincere thank you ! Breakfast was always fabulous , location is premium and facilities are suitable for people who mobility restrictions like my father! definitely coming back and recommending to friends.

Location, Location, location! Literally you cannot have a better location for staying at Porto. Ribeira and st Francis church are literally around the corner, there are a couple of food stores close by, hundreds of restaurants nearby. Also the hotel is brand new, clean, up to date, has a brilliant and fresh breakfast, and the staff was super kind and helpful. Furthermore, I really liked I could order nutella pancakes for breakfast haha. And the cleaners left small treats on my bed when they clened up the room! :) loved to stay there

Can't think of anything I didn't like. Maybe the room could have been slightly bigger and the bathroom needs a hook for the bathrobe

it’s comfortable clean and modern. The location is superb for exploring the old town and access to restaurants and bars. There’s a cab rank outside. The staff were WONDERFUL! They could not do enough for us. And the breakfasts were generous and delicious.

The location was perfect for exploring Porto, set just back from the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Friendly, professional, attentive,helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Treats in the room. Bar downstairs is an extra pleasant space.

Breakfast doesn't start until shortly after 8 am. Tours start at 8 or 8:15. Breakfast should start no later than 7:30 so that guests can eat and make their tours.

The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. The decor and the room was fabulous. We received a lovely welcome bottle or wine and a bottle of nice River Water. The robes, slippers, bedding and towels all soft and high quality. We enjoyed our balcony and view of the quaint Porto Street.

We asked for assistance with an early 4:30 cab, and the cab did not show. Lucky we were able to jump in a uber with another guest at the hotel.
