Modern hotel, very clean with efficient air conditioning. Rooms were a good size and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was really good with a wide selection. Chef came round with little taster titbits of traditional Portuguese food. All the staff were friendly and efficient and spoke many languages. Location wise just perfect being in the old town area and easy to reach all attractions. Although the street was very noisy, the room was very quiet and calm. Very good value for money. It was my birthday while I was there and I was surprised by a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate cake in the room!

Just spectacular. Absolutely loved our stay. Location is perfect and the staff are extremely friendly. Sergio checked us in and gave us thorough information about the city. It was very pleasant and he should be commended on his excellent service. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. We slept so well. The drapes are automatic too and allowed for a dark cold room for sleeping. The shower and sink drained well which seems silly but we’ve had problems with that and so seeing functional plumbing was very nice. There are also long shelves in the room so there is space for you to unpack everything. So convenient. Beautifully large towels, plush slippers and breakfast included. I’ve already recommended friends stay here. We just loved this stay.

The bathroom lacked a bit of storage. Perhaps a shelf or two near the sink would help for toiletries. Also there’s a door stop right in front of the toilet that I stepped on more than once but honestly these are very small things and our stay was exceptional.

No coffee making facilities in room. You could ask for a kettle but only found this from other guests … and kettles didn’t arrive ! Could have made coffee facilities in reception available to guests at all times … but didn’t. For a 4 night stay, provided 2 cartons of water. Rest were charged for. Could have provided 2 cartons a day at little cost which would have felt like better value. Not enough clothes hangars

The location was about as close as you can get to the center of main attractions! The staff were great - wonderfully pleasant and very helpful. Francisco even helped me get a train ticket purchased. Entering my room I was greeted with a super clean room, classic decor and modern art, a most comfortable bed, controls for the sheer and blackout curtains - and to top it off a plate with Pastéis de Nata and water. A great initial experience! I slept soundly and the next morning I enjoyed a full breakfast was tasty and plentiful. ICON Duplo Ribeiro is also very close to the metro. Highly recommend staying here if it fits your budget!

We booked a last minute stay at ICON Duplo after a bad AirBnb experience. The room was fantastic, amazing location, modern accommodations and a delicious breakfast. The best was amazingly comfortable. They provided creature comforts like slippers to make the stay all the cozier. The front desk attendants were incredibly informative and packed us a breakfast for our early flight the next morning. The AC also worked great which was essential for the summer Porto heat. Would book again!

The rooms were a bit dark but it wasn’t a big deal since we weren’t in there very long

The hotel is brand new; only opened 8 months ago. The staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful with getting reservations for wine tastings, music evenings, transport to airport, etc. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of fresh fruit, many meats and cheeses, eggs, cereals, and interesting breads. We had a room at the back of the building above a pedestrian street that was very quiet. The furnishings and room decoration were all of very high quality.

It needs stair rails on some of the steps, of which there are a few, which are being installed soon.

Staff at the Icon Duplo Ribeira are friendly and helpful, rooms are rather small but comfortable and well appointed. Wifi works well throughout the property, the breakfast was well appointed and served in a pleasant room. There are tea, coffee and drinks available for guests at the lobby, which is a welcome idea after a day out in the town.

I felt the price of rooms was excessive for their size. Rooms are beautiful in an industrial way, with well designed, functional furniture. But there is hardly any wardrobe space, no drawers, and bathrooms are pleasant but minuscule.

This is a stunning hotel. Rooms are beautiful. Location is excellent in the old town just a five minute walk to the river. No need for public transport, you can walk everywhere. Probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Breakfast has a great selection. Tea, coffee and flavoured water and pastries available 24 hours in the lobby, no charge for this. Spotless hotel and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend the Icon Duplo Ribera to anyone visiting Porto. You will not be disappointed.

I liked everything. A superb hotel.

The hotel was centrally located and we could walk to everywhere. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of food. Our room was well appointed and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. But above all, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They definitely made our stay very pleasant.

Although we love everything about our stay, including the plush high quality towels in the bathroom, we wish there was a tissue box and additonal toilet paper. But this is a minor issue.

The hotel has recently opened so everything is new and very clean. The room was nicely furnished and a reasonable size. The hotel staff is friendly, helpful and always has a smile for you. The products at breakfast were all fresh and of good quality. What we really liked is that there was always free coffee available in the lobby area, which was nicely furnished and very comfy.

What bothered us a bit was that there weren't enough lights in the room , so it was a bit too dark. But maybe we are already too old :-)
