This is a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location for exploring the interesting city of Leipzig. We paid extra for a larger room with a spacious seating area (sofa, armchair and desk). The decor is simple; all white with no pictures and some might think it has the feel of a hotel for business travellers, but we were very happy. Our room also had a view of Burg Platz (rather than some other rooms which overlooked an internal courtyard) which was extremely pleasant. The large bed was very comfortable and the tea/coffee making facilities were excellent. Also plenty of storage space and hangers for clothes which is sadly rare in hotels. The air-cooling was efficient and the room was very quiet.

Small things could have been better: the air-cooling was a little noisy which made us want to turn it off overnight despite hot weather. We were charged for bottles of mineral water left on the desk; we did not realise that this would be the case and had not used drinks/food in the minibar. It would also have been good if the tea bags and coffee creamers which we used had been replaced.

Staff were great, helpful and welcoming, both front of house and housekeeping. The room was great, plenty space and sockets. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was effective. Breakfast was good with a wide selection. Mini-bar in the room that was handy to add your own drinks to, to chill. Wi-Fi in the room was good too, we had no complaints with the two iPhones and small tablet we had with us. Location: city centre location, close to S-Bahn and trams, 2 stops from the main railway station, handy if you are attending WGT, and there is a well stocked Rewe near by. I would happily come back.

Nothing that spoiled our stay but, like most German hotels, there is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but we knew this.

The staff, the breakfastcrew. My compliments to them. The cleaning lady. My compliments to her. The room. The facilities. TV, Wifi, The breakfast. Realy super. The location, right in the centre. The rooms are well isolated, because we didn't hear a sound during our stay.

Great hotel, loved it. Super location right in the centre of the town. I would have liked some more space to put my things in the bathroom. There is hardly space to put your toothbrush, lety alone the rest. So we kept everything in our toiletbag, but this is not very handy.

The location is in the city centre. From there you can pick up alt the tram to everywhere. Even the S5 or S5X to the airport is a 2-minute walk. The main train station is less than a 10-minute walk. It is located in an area only for people (no cars) full of restaurants and snacks. Nonetheless, it is a very quiet place. At the back of the hotel, there's a gallery with some grocery stores (LIDL), where you can buy up some stuff.

The breakfast price (20 euro per person). Go to LIDL instead.

Hotel is clean, with great size parking, with a very convenient location for the city center, local restaurants and shopping

We had some issues with noise and general functionality of key elements of our room (lighting). Lights were not turning off and as a result we had to change rooms late in the evening. Both, original and newly provided room (they were equivalent) did not have the best sound insulation - we were able to hear people walking down the corridors

The hotel provided us with all expected amenities. On top there were some small but helpful and pleasant additions like bathrobes and a wine glass (strangely just one). I really appreciate the location which is central, close to the park, and all necessary shops are just 2 minutes of walking.

The comfort was distracted by the design issue of the light setup in the bathroom. The switch is placed outside so every time you’d open a door the light would bother everyone laying on the bed. 😬

The city center location was perfect. The staff here was wonderful. I would like to compliment Marie Wolf who was of great assistance to me at checkout. I had a flight change for the following day which had me departing from Munich instead of Frankfurt where I had another NH hotel booked. She helped me get a refund from the Frankfurt hotel and book the Munich hotel. She has made me a fan of the NH hotel brand and I will be using them in the future, whenever possible. Thanks Marie!

Loved it all and I hope to return.

This is a nice hotel right in the center of the city, with a great location. There are a lot of sightseeing in nearby, also a lot of restaurants. There is an underground parking complex right near the hotel.

When we arrived, management of the hotel told us, that there are no room with a big bed, as we ordered, anymore, only with 2 separate beds. That was strange. Why don't you write it in the first place? Anyway, we paid additional 25 euros to have a room with single large bed. This was a nice upgrade, so we have the last floor corner room, which was awesome, although it costs extra money.

Location is excellent, just on the edge of the city centre. Room was great, well designed, spacious and with many amenities. Large, very pleasant bathroom, with bath AND shower. Breakfast very good, even exceptional I would say. Staff - OK, some really good, some just OK. Internet connection good and stable, could be faster though. Excellent sound isolation, both inside and outside.

Cleaning in our room was somewhat lacking, one day the glasses were left dirty, the other day there was no vacuuming as seen by evidence on the floor. In the bathroom, above the bath, there were liquid soap and shampoo bottles, mounted so high it was impossible to reach them. Coffee and tea facilities were in the room, but no milk and only black tea available. During checkout it took very long, we've got someone really inexperienced with invoices.

The location is great. Right in the middle of the city :) The hotel is clean and the personal was nice. We only stayed there for the night so not much I can say.

What I didn't like was the fact that I mentioned we are 2 adults and one 9 year old child and we arrived late in the night and the couch did not have any bedding or pillow. It was annoying to call the reception at 12 at night for sheets and pillows.
