The property is a beautiful period building, beautifully and sensitively converted into a guest house with original features being well complimented with modern comforts and security. I loved the door security greeting with a personal welcome. I loved the high ceilings, the decor. I loved the roof terrace area, the jacuzzi, the breakfast chef, the people that run it. I loved the sound of the rain and the way the moist outdoor warmth starts to hit you as you go from the beautifully air conditioned hallway up to the roof terrace.

Everything was perfect so I can’t think of a single thing to mention on this section.

A beautifully restored 17th century building, with original architectural features. Freddy, our host was so attentive we felt like VIP’s. The rooms face onto a gallery so there are no windows in the rooms but the high ceilings and lovely atmosphere gives it a retreat feel. Bed was comfortable with top quality sheets. Everything was sparkling clean and fresh. The breakfast was wonderful as advertised. If you like a small, interesting hotel with very personal service, then you will love this place. (Right in old San Juan near the old pier. Very walkable and interesting neighborhood.)

This property is absolutely stunning. It is spotless at all times. One morning we went down for breakfast and our room was cleaned in the 20min we were gone. AC is fantastic and it smells so good in the entire hotel. It is very private with only 12 rooms total. For the first 2 days we didn’t see another person that was staying there, only the staff. The location is right on one of the colorful streets. You are really immersed in Old San Juan. We walked everywhere from the hotel. One of the best parts is the convenience store only a few doors down. They had everything you could need in that store. It is very secure. You have to card through 3 doors to get into your room, but it is very simple with the card readers. The bathrooms are beautiful. We stayed in a balcony room and it felt like a castle. The ceilings were so high and the old wooden doors are like out of a movie. The breakfast is guests only and so luxury. You walk straight down stairs and are greeted with a private breakfast restaurant on sight. The coffee and food was so good. The hot tub on the roof is great after walking all day and the signup is super simple in the lobby to make sure you are up there alone. Every time we were on the rooftop we were alone. This hotel absolutely blew us away in every aspect. It is a luxury and an experience to stay here.

Excellent location. A la carte breakfast included. Rooftop terrace and jacuzzi add to the top amenities of this boutique hotel. The staff were extremely helpful. Rooms and beds are comfy.

The normal rooms do not have windows that open to the exterior of the building. Although this helps to make the rooms very quiet, there is no natural circulation of air. Air conditioning is standard though. If you hand wash some underwear and socks or get wet on one of our tours, your items will take several days to dry. We would have appreciated a little more water pressure in the showers. We realize that this is done on purpose to save water, but just a little bit more pressure would be highly appreciated.

Beautiful Spanish colonial style building in the heart of Old San Juan. Quiet location, very clean, amazing a la carte breakfast and very sweet hosts who welcome you with a mimosa and take the time to explain everything about their property. They also have great recommendations for restaurants.

The only thing was that my pillow was very firm and while I know the staff would have switched it out for a softer pillow, I did not want to bother them with it and just slept without a pillow, which was totally fine for me.

Beautifully maintained colonial building with towering ceilings and a lot of original charm. Super clean with a very comfortable bed and AC for those steamy summer nights. The roof terrace is very pleasant and affords some nice views. Location is excellent for those who wish to base themselves in Old San Juan. Reception can guide you to a nearby carpark (5 mins walk) which offers a 60% discount for those with a room booking confirmation. Anyone visiting Puerto Rico who wants to explore more than just the capital, really needs to rent a car. Driving in and around town and the country on the whole is simple and safe. The rooms with a balcony were perfectly fine as far as noise goes, although I'm not bothered by a little street noise and enjoy the advantage of watching the world go by. The staff were very friendly and helpful and will tend to your needs as and when requested. Was greeted with a smile and complimentary drink. Facilities in the rooms are as listed and are standard for a hotel. The bathrooms are very clean and have great showers. Breakfast was included and was a decent meal with a decent coffee by Puerto Rican standards. Would recommend this place for those looking to treat themselves after a week or two of traversing the island. Within a few blocks walk are plenty of restaurants and bars to chose from as well, or venture east to Santurce if you're keen to explore the capitals vibrant local nightlife.

Our stay here was lovely, the breakfast gave lots of food and drink options and the rooms were very comfortable. The rooftop was a great spot to relax. The entire old town was walkable in a short amount of time, and it's super close to a square to find scooters, taxis or Ubers. But the best bit were the hosts, one of the most genuinely welcoming places we have stayed.

Great location in Old San Juan. Easy Walk to everything in Old San Juan. The customer service was exceptional. They were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The hotel was beautiful restored including original historic features and very clean, with great security to keep us safe. The breakfast options were very good, and the coffee was some of the best I have had. It was a Puerto Rican coffee much like we enjoyed throughout the island during our stay. The staff takes pride in the hotel, their customer service and Puerto Rico. We loved Puerto Rico and all of the people we encountered. Such a beautiful place.

Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was quite delicious. Rooftop and jacuzzi nice bonus in the middle of Old San Juan. Room was surprisingly quiet for being located next to the street. It was nice to be able to leave our luggage since we weren't leaving OSJ until late afternoon. Definitely a place we would book again.

Room on first floor was comfortable but on the small side and darkish, no natural light but that was clearly stated in the hotel information. Next time I would love to book one of the rooms on the second floor with the trade off being the staircases to get there.
