We loved the location, it was within walking distance to everything, we only used uber for traveling to the beach and LaPlacita(nightlife). We loved the rooftop deck, it had a very nice view and breeze, I could easily fall asleep there. Bed was very comfortable and TV was huge. The staff was attentive and never let us forget to grab a drink at the open bar. I also liked that at checkin and checkout they would take your bags and tag them so you could go out enjoy while waiting for your room or car to airport. We could also still use the facilities and get drinks while checking out. We also got to keep the bracelet they give you at check in which was a nice little momento

Didn't like that we had to go up those stairs after a late night or full day of exploring. But atleast we got our exercise which balanced out the drinks and food we consumed.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful whenever needed, the 24/7 access to the rooftop for a beautiful view and nice way to relax. Also, the complimentary open bar with multiple options for drinks with little to no wait. The room was a good size for the two of us and even had a balcony! We also loved the design of the building with the high ceilings in every room. It’s located right in the heart of Viejo San Juan, with everything close-by within walking distance. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in Viejo San Juan!

The only thing that we did not like was no elevator - but it was still okay! The hotel staff bring your bags to your room, the building is very historic so it makes sense. There is funny phrases to help you get up the stairs at least!

Loved the open bar and friendly atmosphere (from those employed at the hotel and other guests). My room was better than I expected. I anticipate they have to do a lot to maintain the rooms and it showed— looked like new paint and bathroom updates. The rooftop was also excellent. It was a great view of San Cristóbal and a great place to catch some more sun. The location also exceeded my expectations- perfect walking distance to everything in Old San Juan. Also LOVED that this place was adults only.

The nature of the marble stairway is that it’s loud. There are a ton of signs posted encouraging people to keep it down and they do, for the most part. But the morning noise on those stairs is notable. The shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the bathroom seemed cheap. And while I appreciate efforts to save on single use plastic, I don’t know if those will hold up.

The hotel is very conveniently located in Old San Juan—with shops, restaurants, interesting architecture, and a waterfront surrounding. It is also very easy to get around from here by Uber or taxi to the beach or wherever else you may want to go in San Juan. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating. The hotel has an amazing rooftop that guests can access—a great place to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Great views of the city, lounge chairs, etc. Be aware that there is no elevator— buildings in this part of town are centuries old, so if you have mobility issues I would keep that in mind. I would definitely stay here again, I had a great time.

The location and staff of the hotel are fantastic! We arrived late (past midnight) via Uber and easily found the hotel in Old San Juan. Additionally, there are reasonably priced parking lots near the hotel if you arrive by rental car. When we entered the hotel, we were warmly greeted and immediately served drinks from their open bar. The hotel lobby is spotless and modern (good chill house music, but maybe some variation would be good lol). Our room was functional and comfortable, but remember, it is Old San Juan. The floor was a little older and dirty looking, but overall the room is comfortable and has everything you need. You have A/C, wifi, a great bed, a big, modern TV with Netflix capabilities, a cool/artsy window that can open up, and a functional, clean shower. The roof also has great views of the city, with chairs and couches to lounge on. The bath tubs didn't really work up there, which was a bummer since there aren't any pools in Old San Juan, but not a big deal. The location of this hotel is incredible. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants, the forts, you name it. You're basically in the heart of Old San Juan. The hotel staff is incredible and consists of knowledgable, friendly, and down to earth people. Special shoutouts to Adriel and Luis, thanks for keeping us "hydrated" haha, and for all of the tips and conversation. Everyone that works there is great though and deserves a mention. Lastly, if you don't speak any Spanish, don't worry, the staff's English is better than mine. Lol Thanks everyone for the great hospitality! ¡Gracias a todos! Garrett and Layla

The floors in our room looked kinda dirty and old, but overall the room is comfortable and bearable. Remember, it's a hotel in Old San Juan, not a modern Hilton or Marriott. The bath tubs on the roof were also not functioning properly.

The staff was phenomenal. Everyone had a great attitude and the bartender was our absolute favorite. We will return simply because of them. The open bar 24/7 with quality options was also amazing. Make sure to ask for the acerola or parcha juice when ordering cocktails.

The bathroom was very tiny without any storage space for toiletries. Also, the shower water ran warm, not hot. It was also very noisy at night due to the location being around lots of bars. If we return we will definitely upgrade to a larger room. The noise is just something you have to prepare yourself for- they can't really control it.

The staff were always kind. They were all very young yet professional. One of them gave us sun cream for going to the beach. The room and bathroom were very clean. There was no bad smell. The room was very cold for all 3 of us but the bed cover was enough to keep us warm while sleeping. The A/C system could not be changed. Shower always had hot water. TV in the room had several entertainment such as Netflix, Disney, Hulu... We had pretty good wifi. It was not crowded or noisy at all. I would recommend staying here for a low budget if you cannot afford a 4 star hotel in Isla Verde. As you know the hotel does not have a dining/restaurant itself but it is located in a pretty good neighborhood. Pharmacy is within a walking distance. We could get water, coffee, juice, tea from the bar all we wanted for free. I definitely loved this and it was very convenient.

The room didn't have a window so I could not tell is dark outside is it morning yet or raining... Almost only one staff knew about the tourist attractions, where to eat or how to guide us. Others didn't know much. The shampoo and bath gel were terrible. Bring your own or buy a travel size. The room was cold and we could not change the temperature. Bring your long-sleeve or sweater if you get cold easily like me.

I love the historical and modern look of this boutique hotel. Sexy vibe downstairs and a little historical vibe upstairs. Beautiful winding staircase to take you to the different floors. Amazing rooftop with lounge area and soak tubs. Yes, I got in ! Staff was exceptional, polite and attentive. The bar was the cherry on top. Walking distance to all shops, bars restaurants and El Morro Castillo. Short Uber drive to one of the beaches I wanted to go to. Will stay here again.

Nothing, everything was great. Due to the location being in Old San Juan I expected no elevator and was notified in advance.

The staff was exceedingly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The check-in procedure was surprisingly easy and we were welcomed with a drink from the bar and very personable staff. The rooftop tubs were a wonderful touch. The open bar was an unexpected bonus.

The only issue was the sound. I would recommend providing ear plugs or a sound machine in each room. It was very hard to sleep without headphones in. Also, the bathroom decor could use an update; the shower curtain was far to long for the shower size (it was bunched up at the bottom) and the design was totally different from the rest of the place (which was surprising because so much attention had put into other details). Also, putting the reminder to not flush toilet paper across from the toilet would be helpful so that when you sit you can be reminded. Often, we stood up after to flush and were reminded when it was too late.

This was my first time in PR even though my husband is a native. We don’t have kids and so the main attraction for us was the no kids policy. (Nothing against kids lol) The included open bar was just a bonus. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and really made us feel important. Customer service is everything to me being in the customer service industry and they exceeded all expectations. I felt very safe at this hotel. No one can just walk in from off the street. Security code is required. The parking garage is literally a four minute walk, staff will tell you the short cut. The parking garage gives you a discount with the proper documentation from the hotel and they also have security, which we loved since we rented a car. We were traveling to the country to visit family but if you’re staying in old San Juan you really don’t need a car. Food available by the hotel til 3am. The bath tubs to cool off on the roof and the view is amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking into staying here. I didn’t want to leave and I will DEFINITELY be back. Take advantage of the full bar!!!

Honestly no cons for me.
