The property is gorgeously decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and near all the sites such as the forts and many others. Great restaurants and shops also near by.

A heads up regarding street closure would have been helpful. We drove around for 30-45 minutes trying to find alternate routes so we could simply drop off luggage at the door. We used the nearest parking garage and carried luggage a couple blocks to get to hotel. This would be very difficult for many people. Hint! Please make sure the hotel validates parking stub so you get the $13 a day parking. Otherwise it’s over $60 per day.

The location and staff were the best we stayed before and after our cruise. I liked the layout of the 2nd room better. The rooftop was interesting

We stayed twice in a jr suite. The 1st time the room was smaller. There is no kettle or coffee pot, microwave, or fridge in the room. There was coffee and a microwave on the lobby and there were folks there deciding on how to improve that area

We stayed 2 nights on the north tower then returned a week later with friends and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite on the south tower. The staff was very accommodating. Loved the hot tubs on the roof and the quaint little bar. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Also, the Casa Blanca theme in the lobby was enjoyable. Very nice.

The first stay was the North Tower which seemed to be the older section of the hotel. So for our return stay we requested the South Tower. Our rooms were on the 1st floor, which was nice but on weekends you can hear the loud techno music from a bar 3 blocks away until after midnight. So bring ear plugs if you want to go to sleep before midnight on weekends.

The rooftop was amazing and had a fantastic view of Old San Juan with the capitol and the tropical beaches in the distance. The lobby was also tasteful and modern. I think if you want location, this is a safe, clean, and friendly hotel. If you want modern amenities, pool, ample space, etc, then someplace in Condado or Isla Verde is a better bet. You're not going to get much space in Old San Juan in general given the land values and old nature of the buildings.

The hotel was worth it due to the location (literally in the heart of Old San Juan), but the room was very tiny and some might find it a bit "dated." We barely had enough space to put our luggage on the ground, for example. The lobby is far more modern and chic than the rest of the rooms.

Casablanca was perfect for my bachelorette party of 15 girls. It was right in the middle of Old San Juan, and each room had both a king bed and 2 twins in an adjoining room so it was the perfect amount of space and privacy for our group. We loved the rooftops areas as well- they’re super cute and have both 24/7 jacuzzi access, in addition to the silly bathtubs. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Showers were always hot and had good pressure. There was free coffee and filtered water in the lobby as well, however the water would run out at night and we had to buy bottled water for $2.

Some areas are a bit outdated but that didn’t bother us at all. Walls are pretty thin so you can hear people in other rooms and other rooms probably heard us too. Luckily we didn’t sleep much anyways and most of us are heavy sleepers.

From the moment you walk into this hotel, you feel like you've stepped into something special. The artwork, furniture, and beautiful chandeliers are just stunning to see as you walk through the lobby! Check in was a breeze, and the front desk staff were among the nicest people we encountered our entire vacation. The location in Old San Juan cannot be beat, and my group was able to get everywhere on foot easily (except Escambron beach, so we ubered there for $7). One underrated part is the free cold water right at the entrance! When my group came back we always downed some water as we were usually pretty hot after spending time in the Old San Juan heat! They also have TWO rooftop terraces, both with ample seating, beautiful views of the city, and one even with three jacuzzis for guests to use!

Our room was along a hallway where an elevator was so there was probably more foot traffic outside our door than usual. Our room also didn't have a personal fridge, but there is a communal fridge at the front/lobby. We didn't really mind this as we usually just use the fridge for water.

My 2nd stay at Casablanca was just as exciting and lovely as the first (hence why I actively sought it out and returned again!) The location of this property *cannot* be beat, as it is on one of the most popular and busy streets in Old San Juan. We did not not have/need a car, we were centrally located to everything, and enjoyed some of the best food I've ever eaten by walking no more than 5-10 minutes. The staff is welcoming, friendly, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed (even when we were slightly needy and kept asking for towels-we used the rooftop pools twice a day!) Can not recommend this staff or this location enough. Already wondering when time will allow us to return!

We had some mild internet/connectivity issues in watching TV/streaming, and so we used a cell phone's connection to stream Netflix on a rainy day. Certainly didn't put a damper on the trip, but we noticed the internet wasn't the strongest. Also, our safe in room 1-A was broken/unable to lock, and no one ever came out to remedy it. Lastly, housekeeping passes by *late* (sometimes not until 3:00 or 4:00pm) and so we were returning after a long and hot day to a room that hadn't been tidied. We declined service for this reason, but were then left with hunting down towels, toiletries, and shampoo refills.

This hotel is amazing! They have bathtubs and hot tubs on the upper decks overlooking the city - free to use! We had so much fun having sunrise baths one morning and then sunset hot-tub. The room was stunning and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful with suggestions. It was right in the heart of Old San Juan and close to lots of good restaurants. It was perhaps more adultish that we expected - it was me and my 2 teenage kids (15/17) and it was totally fine to have them there but it seemed to attract couples. I wouldn't go there with young kids. My kids were so super excited though about the upper decks - it was an awesome way to end the trip.

It maybe isn't a great place to bring kids - not sure but just got that vibe. My kids are teens so that seemed okay but still seemed kind of like an adultish hotel.

We arrived super late for our reservation but it was not an issue as the front desk was welcoming and informative of the amenities available, including complementary water and coffee in the lobby, as well as what time their restaurant opened for breakfast. I also love the overall vibe of the hotel with its artwork movie theme, as well as the hotel being located within walking distance to restaurants and shops around Viejo San Juan.

I had previously stayed in a bigger room with a king sized bed that was quite comfortable. This time we opted for a queen sized bed, which I guess meant a smaller room that turned out to be a little tight in space for two people.

Casa Blanca was an amazing and convenient location to stay in. It is absolutely beautiful the minute you walk in you feel your in Old San Juan the architecture and deco is so traditional and beautiful. The hotel service is amazing housekeeping is on point and they have 24 hour concierge to help you with anything you need! If I could give this hotel a 10 star rating I would! I am so glad I booked this hotel so many beautiful places to explore and so close to the hotel and I am looking forward to coming back soon!
