Great location and pet friendly!

the sheets were dirty but we asked the staff to change them and they quickly did so.

The location was perfect with delicious restaurants nearby. Now it wasn’t a 5-star hotel but you definitely got the bang for your buck. Relatively speaking, other hotels nearby are more expensive and carry your big name brands, but you also have to pay for the brand and the service. My wife and I just needed an affordable place close to the touristy area to sleep in and we got just that! Clean rooms and great service too. The front desk guy, Luis, was always so attentive to our needs and got us more toiletries, blow dryer and whatever else we might need. The main thing we were happy about was how well the a/c worked. Other boutique hotels in the area wouldn’t offer the same unfortunately, and my wife sleeps hot lol.

The size of the room was a little small, the beds and pillows weren’t the comfiest, and there was no hotel parking. If you rent a vehicle, you will either have to find some street parking nearby or pay a third-party parking service/lot to park your vehicle there. The price for the lot isn’t bad, it’s cheaper than other hotels with their own lot at $16/night.

Room was neat and honestly kind of cozy & cute. Rooftop breakfast was nice each morning. Location was super close to the beach and walking distance to a TON of San Juan attractions -- we basically walked everywhere while we stayed here! Staff were helpful with information and holding on to my bags before and after check in so I had more time to explore freely :)

Our fridge & TV were not plugged in when we arrived which caused a bit of confusion to start, lol. Bar was not open except for Thur-Sun so we couldn't get our free drink! Would be nice to have a few more fruit options for breakfast! Wifi was a bit iffy at times but happy to have it at all!

The front desk lady provided my room number to a man I was trying to get away from. She proceeded to tell him my room number at 3AM, which should be illegal.

The location is EVERYTHING!! I love how close it is to the airport and I love how affordable it is. This is my second time staying here and the staff and location have yet to disappoint!! 10/10

The jacuzzi doesn’t work at all so the water is just still and there was no breakfast in the morning like the last time I stayed.

The hotel is very convenient. It is small, if you don't like a crowd Rooms are small but enough if you are a business traveler or solo. It has an excellent location. Rooftop with great views, a jacuzzi and good breakfast. It is not luxurious. The rooms kind of smell and some fixtures need to be renovated. But I am happy with ny stay. I need to add that I stayed in this sane hotel in 1977, when it was called El Portal.

Great hospitality and we felt very welcomed. The location and price were perfect. We didn't know they offer complementary breakfast and welcome drinks, so those were nice surprises. The jacuzzi on the roof top was nice after long day of sightseeing. We will definitely stay there again.

The first room we were assigned had AC and door issues, but the front desk person changed to a different room right away. Maybe because of that, the second room's bathroom was not so clean. I used sanitizing wipes and sanitizer to clean, so it wasn't a big deal.

The hotel is superb and meets my expectations. It is situated at an accessible location and a walking distance to the beach. The room was clean but you have to leave instructions for the room to be cleaned. The breakfast area gives a very lovely view of the city.

I don't like the fact that I have to request for my room to be cleaned.

The location was great. An easy walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. The room, especially the bed, was clean and comfortable. I liked the central air with a real thermostat and housekeeping on request. The staff - reception, housekeeping and maintenance- was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was somewhat limited but perfectly adequate. The rooftop was the breakfast room in the morning and a bar with live music at night. I'd definitely stay here again.

The water in the shower was barely lukewarm.

The location is near the beach and many bars and restaurants. A great value. The room was nice and the rooftop was nice with a great view but the hottub was not working. You can check in here and go to many places by walking or Uber.
