Golden Ocean Hotel

Everyone at the desk are very welcoming. This is our 1st time coming to this hotel and this visit is a superb one. Definitely coming back in the next couple of days. the internet connection is very fast. The swimming pool is smart. Concierge staff are very nice people. Highly recommended

What I don't like is, I stay the whole night in the hotel without watching television because the tv is not working and I call the reception 4 times in the night looking for assistance but they didn't pick my calls and I Left my card inside the room and locked myself outside and I asked one housekeeping to assist me and the house keeping staff refused to assist me,thanks to concierge team they are very quick in assistance ❤️

I loved everything about the hotel, great staff, very kind receptionist(he is African, I didn't catch his name) he was very helpful with my queries n cheerful as well..the concierge helped us with our bags to our room , showed us around n helped connect wd the TV wd WiFi (which we didn't know) The room was very very spacious,clean, tidy,comfotable bed n beddings,towels, mini fridge, electric kettle, coffee satchets ooooh boy I loved each and everything about the room. I will surely be coming back n trust me I have already bragged to my friends about the hotel, I hope they visit as well..ooooh one more thing, for the smoking rooms please try n provide an ash tray its convenient than having to ash cigarette on wet tissues everytime I want to smoke..Thanks 😊

The room is big but windows are small and dirty. The location is quite central but you still have to walk 10 mins to the city. The provided bottle of water every day

The housekeeping took away my daughter self-made heart shaped pillow, this was her first self sewing masterpiece and my daughter cried for long time. We have to ask for hand towels otherwise they just provide bath towels and bath rug.

Staff's are very accommodating.

They just forget to put towels in one of our rooms. And the first time I called reception to ask how much additional pay if ever we checkout late 1st the receptionist answer half of our room rate which is 80qr but after an hour when I called again one receptionist said we need to pay additional 100qr. The answer was not consistent which made us confused.

I like the room cleanliness and facilities. Smart tv with Netflix sign in. That was fantastic.

Housekeeping service very poor. After 3 time call they provide me slipper and dental kit. Later i ask for tissue 2 time i call but they didn’t send. And i think reception staff should be more professional. One person call me for ask what time i check in.. The he ask its not a way to ask a guest. No politeness no softness, kind of attitude and rude.

Room is cleaning is perfect. Location is suitable for me. have save and separate parking space in basement.

whenever am their TV remote or TV is not working properly. Toothpaste and toothbrushes are missing. Reception for check in taking long time due to less staff in peak hours. Room temperature should be in normal condition before checking in, it was chilled like a freezer.

The receptionist called Anne was so helpful, formal and accommodative. I recommend her to be one of the most brilliant employee at Golden Ocean Hotel to have met.

Useful necessities would be better if provided early before the arrival of guests

the night shift valet attendant he didn’t believe I have booking and he told me we are fully booked and he didn’t move my car till he saw I booked, I felt bad after I understood he thought I’m laying to him and he shouldn’t inform the guest by himself the hotel fully booked it was so bad really please just your team need a proper training to how taking a good care of your guest or else you will lose the people
