Exceptional breakfasts, lovely and helpful reception staff, very large 'single' beds, spotless room cleaning, easy metro access and to the amazing MIA park. Basically, I found for the price we paid, we got a 5-star hotel in a perfect location.

Not a major issue for adults, but could be for small children. Sometimes the water got hotter than set in the shower (probably because too many guests were accessing it all at once in the morning in a very big hotel!). It only lasted for a few seconds, but this also might have an impact on a disabled guest i.e. you have to step forward very quickly for a few seconds. Otherwise, all the hotel facilities were perfect.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hampton By Hilton Doha Old Town and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all my expectations. The staff at Hampton By Hilton Doha Old Town deserves special commendation for their exceptional service. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were not only professional but also genuinely friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home. The room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. Special thanks to the personal cleaning and the restaurant stuff. The location of Hampton By Hilton Doha Old Town was also ideal for my trip. Situated in downtown at 150 m from the metro station and national museum, it provided easy access to everything I wanted to explore !!!!! My stay at Hampton By Hilton Doha Old Town was a truly excellent journey. The combination of outstanding staff, impeccable accommodations, and a delightful breakfast made it a standout experience. I would highly recommend Hampton By Hilton Doha Old Town to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel that exceeds expectations in every aspect. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Doha.

The room vas clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. The location was perfect as it's only 5/10min from the National Muzeum. The staff was very nice and recommended a very good restaurant nearby. The value for money is excellent and perfect for solo travelers! I would recommend it. I even got a box of chocolate as a present :) LOVELY

Unfortunately, it was impossible to turn off the air conditioning, that was making quite a lot of noise...as I'm from Europe I do not like air conditioning especially if it's not too hot outside. Also, the breakfast is not the best I had but it's correct.

The breakfast spread is limited but just enough to fill your stomach. As for the location its a walking distance to the National Museum of Qatar and 15-20 mins walk to Souq Waqif. The location is also quite nearby to the airport. But if you staying in the month of May-Oct, I reckon to just Uber no matter the distance.

The sausages were very dry as they were cut into small pieces. The view from the window was just dead (beside another building) which I ended up closing the curtain throughout my stay. Not much English Channel to watch on the television.

I wanted to be near the cruise port and it turned out I could see the ship from my room. Check-in and check-out went smoothly despite the crowd waiting to check in when I left. I was there less than 30 hours total. My flight arrived at 5 AM but I booked two nights so I could check in immediately and have breakfast. The breakfasts were good. I also had supper there and it was both tasty and reasonable.

The room was too cold for me. I did turn off the air conditioner but there was no way to make it warmer. I could not connect with the hotel about the airport shuttle but that's more booking.com's fault, not the hotel's. The taxi was fine.

Upon my arrival, I was assigned a smoking room, which posed a significant issue for a non-smoker like myself due to the unpleasant odor. Fortunately, they accommodated my request to switch rooms. The room itself was comfortable; however, I encountered an issue with the bedsheets, as they had an unpleasant smell that persisted despite my efforts to mask it with perfume. The breakfast offered was simple and inclusive of a variety of options that should cater to everyone's preferences. The highlight was undoubtedly the waffles, which were truly amazing. On the downside, I found the scrambled eggs and boiled eggs inconsistent in quality. Some days, they were not boiled to perfection, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, I experienced difficulties with the water pressure in my shower, but the provided toiletries, including shampoo, hand cream, and hair conditioner, were of a good quality compared to what I typically find in other hotels. Overall, I did enjoy my stay, and I have plans to return in the future.

Breakfast offered a good buffet with a variety of good bread, including pita bread, pancake, waffles, cereals, eggs, vegetables, humus, a good selection of yogurt, Fresh fruit and more. Fruit juices, Tea and excellent coffee! The location is very, very convenient! The National Musem of Qatar is 3min walk away and definitely worth spending half a day there. In the evening, I did a 2 hour walk around the area to take pictures of the city skyline, and to visit the "Souq Waqif" market. Around the "Museum of Islamic Art", you get a great view on the city skyline to take pictures. I believe it is the "top spot" for taking these pictures.

I found the common area temperature to be colder than expected. However, I do like to set my AC temp to about 78F, which is probably higher than the average person is used to. In any case not a problem, really.

The Shukboo at reception needs training to engage with customers with courtesy. I wanted to get a print out and I approached her. Shukboo had no intention to help me or at least to communicate properly with a guest. I have no problem if my request was refused but there is a way to say No to a guest. Not like you treat an inmate. It’s people always the main factor and I would never want to receive any interaction with Shukboo when I check in next ( I will revisit as other staff was good)

We loved everything about Hampton by Hilton Doha Old Town! It is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. The facilities are new, modern and spotlessly clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel does not have noisy clubs or bars which was important to us. It does have a relaxed restaurant with good food - the breakfast was an unbelievable spread. And to say it is close to the major attractions of the city is not an overstatement. We walked to the National Museum of Qatar and the Museum of Islamic Art - both exceptional. We used the metro to travel a bit further out. The M315 Metrolink bus (part of a free service which travels in loops to and from metro stations) stops a couple of meters from Hilton Old Town Doha closer to the Doubletree by Hilton Doha - every 12 minutes. It was also very convenient to be able to take the M315 shuttle to the metro station and travel with the underground straight to Terminal 1 of the Hamad International Airport when we left Qatar. If we stay in Doha again we would book this hotel again.

Clean and spacious room, with a great view. The restaurant is open whenever you need it. Breakfast was nice and the staff are very helpful. The hotel was close to National Museum so it is close to metro, plus you can take the Metrolink shuttle if you don't feel like walking.

A weird noise a random morning, they didn't know the source, it was for like 10 minutes at 7am. There is no room service so you have to get stuff yourself. Plus you can't order via the phone you must go in person. This should be fixed. They don't have a swimming pool unfortunately.
