The staff was very friendly and the facility was super great in both location and elegance. We have seen an excellent hospitality specially from front desk employees and Mr. Innocent the duty manager

From the minute we arrived, the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much of a problem, our room was fabulous on the 5th floor, club room with access to the grand lounge, concierge Prakriti was exceptional in her service to us when ever we saw her, the lounge was a haven of good coffee and mid day nibbles, in the evening the canapés being served were more like a meal, we had 3 courses every evening fab choices which were different each night. Alcohol is served when there in the evening but worth mentioning no alcohol is available during Ramadan. Outside the grounds are immaculate we used the main pool which was lovely and warm, lifeguards are around till 6pm but you can swim after that your on own risk, the beach is beautiful and the infinity pool was very nice as well. Breakfast was a fabulous array of foods both hot and cold options food for even the fussiest eaters. The stars of the hotel are the staff all staff spoke to us checking all was well and we were happy with everything, worth noting the response when we advised our fridge was not working, a quick call and the whole fridge was changed our within the hour. Planning a return trip ASAP. There is a mall literally just across the road with multiple shops including a supermarket for anything you forget.

Nothing with the hotel, we would like to go when its a bit cooler, our fault for not checking that before booking 🙄

Great dining options, the Italian and Thai restaurants were our favourite. There are various happy hours at the beach bar, sports bar and some restaurants if that is of interest.

The view from the room did not meet expectations, when asked about this we were told that a 'standard' room had been booked, however we could not see an option for a 'city view' or 'pool view' room. The lighting in the room was either on or off, you could not independently operate the bed side lights, ceiling lights. Just one master switch to turn off / on.

The hotel was positioned opposite a mall. It was well situated. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The gym was really nice & well equipped.

The room was very outdated.

This is an exceptional hotel with fantastic staff... felt right at home from day one... breakfast was worth every cent and 2we spend a good time there getting to know your staff on. a daily basis. Just fantastic experience..0.

Just the mattress, far to soft for my liking, but this is pure preference but even when I complained the staff tried their best to assist. Maybe I am just to heavy..:)

The hotel was welcoming and the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help people - the hotel is good due to the wonderful staff as they give it soul. The hotel has lovely grounds and is so close to the Metro , travelling around was so easy .

It could do with a little updating in areas such as the pools near Rocco.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth and courtesy. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had the best stay. The staff are definitely key to the hotels success, each one being genuinely welcoming and keen to go above and beyond. Our room was as pictured, anlways immaculately presented, with a super comfy bed. The pool and beach were perfect, clean and well maintained. A special mention to Prakriti who went out of her way to make us feel like valued returning guests, even though it was our first visit. Also the team at breakfast, they are amazing, as was breakfast.

The half board option. It wasn’t that we didn’t like it, I guess we thought dinner would be similar to the fabulous breakfast buffet, instead of which you had the option of dining at the hotels several restaurants. Which was good but you are ,of course, restricted to a ‘fixed menu’. For a couple of the restaurants you literally had the choice of 2 starters, mains etc We just felt those menu’s could be more varied. Nonetheless good value, but next time I think we’d opt for the ‘Club’ option.

The 2-bedroom villa was very spacious. The room was clean and ideal for families with children. The 3 pools in the hotel were added bonus; we couldn't roam around Qatar much due to children staying late in pools. It was actually the offer 'half-moon board for the same price of bed and breakfast' that made us ultimately choose this hotel over others for the Eid vacations. We loved having dinner at Rocca, Isaan and Santa Monica restaurants.

- Moving to and fro from villas to hotel. Golf buggy was available on request however not a convenient mode of frequent mobility. - Breakfast could have been better with more hot meal options. - Hotel beach's mushy sea sand not convenient to walk at all. - Staying in a villa, we felt bit isolated, not having a 'staying in a hotel' vibe. I would prefer a hotel room over villa on my next visit.

Location Private beach with white sands The property is surrounded by a "forest" with very large areas of beautiful/green landscape and hardscape. Many swimming pools; outdoor and in door Very large villa with a private car parking just beside. That was really very convenient. Breakfast was also good with many varieties.

All was honestly exceptional, except I experienced a number of cases where receptionists/ operators didn't pick up the phone when I called and no one called back.

First of all, compliments to chef of italian restaurant who was keeping us happy with customised changes in very limited meny (we wete Half-board) and real good cooking, as during Ramadan one cannot use arabic buffet reserved to locals, also big thanks to european receptionist Ian who after 4 days found out that we can use arabic a-la-carte which opens after 8pm! Otherwise hotel is a jem (and we have been to Asia and other Middle Eastern hotels). One thing: lagoon is shallow, but it is clean and has fishes. Some areas are under reconstruction.
