Well 1st of all we booked a room for 3 including kid of 9. However the 1st room was not suitable as there were no sleeping space for a kid. No additional beds are available. So after rather tough discussions our room was changed to a one with a coach (free of charge). The main disappointment is that the hotel tried to bill additional SGD 100 (in our case it was additional SGD 1200 or so for a stay) per night for that (however even on the hotel website the room with a coach was slightly different, i.e. SGD 150-200 per whole stay. So those travelling with a kid - be prepared. Also very tiny breakfast area close to reception (was quite crowded during our stay) Smart Home panel in the room was badly located and very unresponsive. Would prefer normal switches.

This hotel is one of my best kept Singapore secrets. I love it. It's classy and cool with modern decor and facilities. The room I stayed in is smaller than what I'm used to however they have made such exceptionally good use of the space that you really do not notice it. The layout is smart and modern. The bathroom is glass walled which I thought was strange due to the lack of privacy however I then discovered a switch that automatically closes blinds inside the shower to block out the view. The pool is a great size and during both of my stays here was never crowded. In fact I had it to myself most of the time. This location for me is a nice change from Orchard. I have recently discovered the wonders of Boat Quay which (10min walk) with great riverside dining and many bars in the parallel street. Found a pretty loose expat bar right next to the bridge that has a pool table right out front. I play quite well so have developed quite a reputation for myself there now. Also Clarke Quay is also a short walk along the river if you're looking for something else. Shopping in the area is fine with Funnan Mall across the road and Bugis market or a trip into Orchard road is a short GRAB ride away. Will be staying here everytime I travel to Sg which is 4 times a year these days.

I'm a bit of a gym junkie and unfortunately the gym here is lacking, small space and tight between equipment. Anymore than 3 people will feel uncomfortable. Thank fully it's rarely used from what I've seen and I've had it to myself on most ocassions.

Facilities in the Club room were very good. Excellent food and refreshments. Initially in the Club room the staff were very friendly, although later in my stay, the staff were rather perfunctory in their approach. The manager on the front desk was kind on my departure, and brought me a soft drink while I had to wait for an hour in the lobby after check-out. The swimming pool was excellent.

With the Club facilities, the staff were generally good, but not always. The location is not as central as I would have liked.

The option for breakfast is not many but all with high quality. Location is very good, convenient for transportation and shopping. Service for check-in and check-out is good and friendly.

If there is a button besides bed to turn off all lights, rather than walk to control pannel, that will be better(I know there is mobile app can control, but what if for the person doesn't want to download app). If there are more clothe hanger in the wardrobe will be more helpful. No place to hang the wet cloth in bath room, such as the swiming clothe. The room cleaning service is just average level. As I used the iron and put in wardrobe, and the flash light in wardrobe fallen down, they don't tidy up and fix it.

The room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Room was very tech-equipped, and USB ports conveniently beside the bed for easy charging of your devices. Room controls were via an app or wall-mounted control panel, which is convenient at times when it doesn't lag or hang. I thought the star of the room was the bathtub though, it was quite big and made for a comfortable soak. Being placed right next to the glass wall that separates the bathroom from the sleeping area meant that I could watch the TV while having a bath, which was wonderful. Would surely return.

Not much writing space, but there was a small movable table provided. Not super quiet (could hear when people walked past or neighbours were going in and out of their rooms). This added to the paranoia of someone potentially bursting into the room because there was also no door latch. Even though walkable to nearby malls, it was a small hassle to get to the hotel from the MRT station, and had to walk past a throng of people at the next-door building just to get to the hotel. Also note it's not a fully sheltered walk from the MRT station.

The location is within walking distance of Clarke Quay and Boat Quay where I spend much of my time. Funan shopping centre is next door with restaurants etc and Suntech shopping centre is a short taxi ride. It's basically in the middle of the best entertainment district and Orchard Rd, the best shopping district. Also Bugis market is 800m walk, always a great place to go. The room is beautiful, a combination of lux and cool with features like USB charging ports on the bedside tables and digital controls for the lights, aircon and ceiling fan. It's also available on an app so you can control everything from your phone. The room itself is not huge but they have glassed out the bathroom so you can see straight through and that gives the appearance of it being much bigger. There are electric blinds that close for privacy if needed. I didn't try the breakfast so cannot comment on that. The pool is fantastic and most times i was there I had it to myself. It gets sun so you can tan unlike many other hotel pools in Singapore which get shaded by the building unless on the roof. The staff are exceptional, always willing to assist with any enquiry especially young Adam who I bumped into quite often in the lobby.

The gym is pretty small but has enough equipment to keep you going. It doesn't get used all that often from what I saw so you'll likely have it to yourself if you train.

The cleanliness of the room and professionalism of the hotel staff. Especially when we experienced a technical issue in the room I was greatly surprised by the fast service of the technical department of the hotel as well as the room service was really quick with providing us with delicious bites and beverages.

Unfortunately there was a layer of Algies growing on the side of the jacuzzi of the park suite which stained our bathing clothing.
