Stop looking for the perfect hotel in Singapore because you have just found it! My husband and I were blown away by this fabulous hotel!. All the staff from the bellboy, check-in, cleaners and restaurant staff were extremely polite and friendly. We stayed in a beautiful Heritage room, which was clean and very spacious. The hotel food was DELICIOUS! I have never seen so much variety at breakfast and brunch, I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world, so I say this with certainty. The hotel is within walking distance of all the attractions and the train station is a 5 minute walk if you want to explore further. The Management should be proud of their staff and what they have accomplished as this hotel is truly a guests dream.

Breakfast was expensive but, excellent! Location was great!

It needed to be cleaned!!! Shower had MOLD!! There was DIRTY socks under sofa!! Floor was not clean at all!

The room was lovely and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel - so much choice on the buffet of both western and Asian and lots of fresh options made to order. The door man was also amazingly friendly and arranged for us to have a room to shower in later that day (after check out) before our long flight home. This made such a difference after a crazy humid summer day in the gardens by the bay.

The receptionist that checked us in were a little snooty and were surprised when showing us to the suite we had booked for 2 adults, and an 8 and 9 year old (clear in the reservation) that we wanted the sofa bed pulled out for the kids. Instead of fixing it without complaint, she said most people would be ok to sleep all 4 in the one bed and made us feel like we were asking something unreasonable. In the end after putting our foot down, it was then quickly resolved, just a bit of a shame to start that way.

The location was great and very near to the underground travel and shopping, which meant getting around without being in the sun. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could wish for and then more. There was a pool on the 4th floor which was beautiful. Our departure was late afternoon so we were offered the use of a shower room before we left for the airport. The staff we extremely attentive and helped with any queries that we had. A fantastic place to stay.

Central location and well appointed room

The configuration was a bit odd as it had to make so with existing walls. The enclosed balcony/sun room was narrow and long with a desk in one end and the red and coffeemaker in the other, but has no air conditioning. So it was quite warm to stay there. The bathroom was big with a tub and a private shower. Thus leaving a somewhat cramp bedroom area for large luggages and handcarries( and the stuff you shopped). But overall, just awesome

Hotel had perfect location for our needs, as we wanted to discover various parts of the city and its possible to get to City Hall MRT station directly from the hotel. Taxi/car drive from/to the airport is around 20-25 mins. The breakfast was delicious and rich selection of hot and cold dishes as well as sweets was offered. Beads were super comfortable.

As the hotel building is bigger in width than in height, for some rooms there maybe significant walking time required to reach the lobby (there are however additional elevators available in different wings, so depending what do you need you do not need to use the central one).

Staff, breakfasts, location, comfort and facilities

One small gripe. All week we struggled with the room lights until it on the last day we spotted the reading lights pivoted but folded away on the headboard. Probably us being stupid, but had they been folded out we would have immediately realised they were there! Maybe if they were folded out when guests arrive it would be obvious to non savvy guests like us!!
