Great location across the road from Raffles hotel and shopping centre and Chjmes for good and drink. Staff were lovely and can’t thank them enough for returning my passport that I left in the hotel safe after I had checked out and remember after about 3 hours. Being able to use facilities to have a shower and get changed after checking out and waiting to leave for airport. Lots of bottled water provided in room.

No bar in the lobby and no staff at the pool. Proper milk and not powdered would be good and more tea bags.

Great location, close to everything. Very clean room with a nice view towards the Raffles Hotels. The room itself is clean and comfy.

My adapter didn't work in my room so I gave it to the reception to charge my devices. On pick-up a senior staff was lecturing me how I should get a number tag from the receiption to identify my belongings. I think that is something he should train his staff about, not lecturing his customers. The light switches was not working on our first night of stay, we could not turn it off, so we had to unplug the main power card to cut power to turn off the light. But on our second night back to the room the switches were secretly fixed which was great. A major problem of this room/hotel was it didn't come with a extractor fan in the bathroom which is unheard-of. Every time we took the shower, the whole room was fogging up.

Quiet (soundproof vs street noise). Location ok, just plan where and what are your interest points. For Singapore ok value for money - just not forgot about 20% tax + cleaning? will be added per day. Can't judge breakfast but for asked money in Singapore (overpriced country) you should be able to find something normal/better. Air conditioner quite ok - enough silent and powerfull and not much blow on bed - rare place where automatic setting worked as needed.

Staff is not happy at check-in ;) But for Singapore that is normal. Low lighting level in the room. Tea choice - just simplest black tea.

Location and the views were incredible. The interior of the room was super comfy and stylish. From the hotel you have very good connection with Metro to everywhere. Marina bay and chinatown you can reach super easy from there. The huge lounge invites you to buy a quick a drink or a snack. The stuff is friendly and helpful and respects your privat time. We would come back any time

The price of the breakfast is a bit to expensive. Around the area are a lot of of restaurants who tries to scam tourists. Don't order anything without seeing the prices before that. Better you go for food to the Suntec mall or take a metro to chinatown, you will save 200 % of the price. :/

Great position & staff extremely helpful. Rooms good size though one of our group had trouble with no hot water!

The pool area closed at 7pm which was disappointing. There were many days we would have liked a swim after dinner. Please consider a later closing time at around 9pm or 10pm.

Location and size of the hotel. Porters were particularly friendly and helpful with lots of tips.

The pool area is incredibly out of touch and dated. Would not stay in the hotel again based on the lack of this amenity. It gets so hot in Singapore it would be nice to have a lovely pool area to relax and unwind in. Would say the pool area was reflective of a 2/3 star hotel.

Premier Wing rooms are great.

Main Tower rooms are not suitable for people on holiday. In fact not suitable for couples at all. No bathroom privacy, basic room set up.

Reception service was good as room given by a Malay chap as requirement requested .

Some toiletries and beverages were not replenished at daily basis hence need to call and request for it at the last moment of needs.

Great location - good choice of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Close to MRT stations so it was easy to get to local sights. Great view from the room.

Thank you. I had a peasant stay. Also thanks for accepting my request for a late check out at 1 pm. I will choose Carlton Hotel again because it is very well centrally located and it offers competitive prices for room options. Centrally located within walking distance to many attractions like Bugis street, Esplanade, Raffles City, (Art) National Gallery within 10-25 min walk. Most importantly, it is very close to the City Hall MRT with the direct East West Line to Changi airport. Marina Bay Sands is a short distance from EW Line. If you like great atmosphere pubs, dessert, and Japanese food options, CHIJMES (a great place to visit) is just opposite the hotel. The hotel location is also ideal for visitors having a vegetarian or vegan diet. You can find 4 vegetarian eating spots within a reasonable walking distance or take the MRT. Two around Fortune Centre (Herbivore cafe and one near the Indian temple) and one at the Suntec City foodcourt. The room is well maintained with the necessity you need for a comfortable stay. Free capsules coffee ☕ and a bath tub option that's a plus.

I really like the extremely well made cakes at the Tuxedo Cafe & Patisserie inside the Carlton Hotel. I had almost one everyday except on a day, where the counter staff was quite impolite in having another guest and I waiting for the service. There were no other customers in waiting and the tables were clear. I couldn't wait any longer as I had to go. Out of the 5 times of purchasing the cakes, I would say, 4 in 5 times the customer service at Tuxedo can be improved.
