The location is perfect, the staff is responsive, the room is large, very clean and comfortable.

Parking is not available if you don't reserve it way in advance and otherwise it is difficult to find a spot in the public parking. The AC (we used the heating) is a bit too loud and gets the air in the room very dry.

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT, all thanks to Lorand. What a lovely and charming man! He couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was a problem for him, even taking our 2 big and heavy suitcases to our room. Communication with the hotel was very easy as whenever I had any queries and emailed the hotel, Lorand replied immediately. Casa Chitic hotel is very central and very clean . Our room was massive, modern and the bed and pillows were very comfortable as was the shower room. Our bedroom overlooked the pretty wide street and we could see the Hollywood Brasov sign. This hotel is a jewel and I truly recommend it. I look forward to going back in the near future but next time I will definitely stay for more than 2 nights, as Brasov is an amazing city and there are so many things to do. Comfortable and tastefully decorated in excellent location. Very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast is good, ordinary.

The photo of the impressive front of the hotel is a bit misleading as it’s not clear if any of those rooms are hotel rooms except for those in the top floor. Almost all the rooms are at the back of the building accessed via a walkway. My room and I believe most rooms have no view, and just one small window. Check in a bit tricky as there are two hotels close to each other with the same name and it appears at first that you have to check in via an app — be sure to have the right one and there should be someone there before 8pm. There wasn’t a restaurant in spite of the name.

The staff was very kind, the room was specious and very clean. They provide linen also for the baby. We like very much the furniture. If you come by car you can park on the street for around 10 lei/day. It's just a few minutes by walk from the main square. Walking distance from all the main attractions of the city center. The breakfast has a very large selection savory and sweet.

They do not have elevator (and we know it in advance) and we have a 2 y.o. baby. A room at first floor instead of the second should be appreciate but we undertstand that old historical palace shouldn't have all the facility we used to have.

Everything was just great. Just simply couldn't ask for more. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Spacious room and bathroom, and shower cabin, and cabinet, and beds. Impeccable cleaning, amazing shower gel odour, small fridge with freezer! It's unbelievable. The room was facing the street and I was thinking that probably will be noisy. Couldn't be more wrong. The room was so quiet and comfortable. Very kind and helpful staff. The breakfast was closing at 10:00 but they were very kind to let us in at 10:15. The breakfast choice was normal. Not too rich and definitely not pour. You could easily choose what to eat or drink. Few minutes away from center of Brasov and Black Church. They gave us a parking spot and they took care to keep it that way even after we left with the car to see Bran Castle for a few hours. When we got back from the few hours trip, we parked right in the same spot. Thank you guys!

We stayed one night at Casa Chitic in Brasov and liked it very much. Location was fantastic - steps away from the main pedestrian area. Rooms were great, spacious - with all what we needed. Bathroom were great, with good water pressure in the shower. The air conditioning was great in one room, however it wasn't functioning well in our second room, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good, with enough variety to satisfy every taste - hot and cold items, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, pastries/sweets, yogurt, coffee, juices, etc. Parking is tricky - there are a couple of spots on the street parking in front of the hotel and we were lucky to get one of them, however, otherwise, you might need to find a spot on the same street but further away. All-in-all - a great stay and we would gladly come back!

We weren't aware that the hotel didn't have an elevator and we had a room on the second floor - not a problem in itself, if it weren't for the luggage. Luckily, the staff at reception was extremely helpful and helped us with the big two suitcases - both when we arrived and when we left.

I stayed at this hotel twice and I wish I found availability for the remaining time i was in Brasov as the hotel was really great because of the staff that ran it there. Lorand was such an amazing and pleasant host , he made us feel we were home from the second we stepped into the hotel, and provided us with lots of details and recommendations, also o believe his name was Kelan(I hope I got it right) was super pleasant and helpful. the Staff at the breakfast also were so nice and caring , the location was amazing very close to everything and on a street in which the car will drop you with your luggage and you don't have to drag them for a distance :) the rooms clean and room 13 was spacious but room 27 was a bit small however both were great .

Just be aware , same as all the hotels in the area, there is no elevator , but the staff were sooooooo kind to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs which I felt bad about :) thank you guys and sorry again :)

Super friendly staff, kudos to Lóránd, he made our stay feel like home with his professional and super kind attitude. The room was very clean and big enough for 2 lady friends sharing. All in all, I would definitely stay again, cuz everyone from the staff is friendly, nice and very professional and the facilities are well kept - the breakfast was amazing too!

I found the mattress a tiny bit too worn out, and the AC only gave us hot air, even though we set it up properly to cool the room.

The location, in the heart of Brasov is amazing. The hotel has limited parking spots outside, in front of the hotel, if you book in time, they hold a place for you. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is no elevator, as the hotel is in a historical building, and the staff helped me with the luggage upstairs and back, which was highly appreciated. The room was impeccably clean, very quite, the bed super comfortable and the view, on the mountains, which was so relaxing. Breakfast was also varied enough and of good quality, with great service.
