Cozy boutique hotel. Great location just minutes away from downtown. Parking available another bonus for this hotel!

Very nice and very large size apartment, with a fabulous mountain view ... but not comfy for 3 people. This was the only reason to rate it as a 9. Otherwise should be a full 10. The sofa-bed for the third (or 4th) guest(s) is not comfy and TV is locked on the wall in a position not visible from the sofa-bed. A large-size totally unnecessary dinning table furnished that room. Plenty of room to place another king size comfy bed and upgrade the apartment as a 2 king-size beds apartment. Again, bedding was uncomfortable for the 3-r guest, but otherwise apartment was absolutely super nice ... I could not downgraded lower than 9 out of 10 !!!!

Overall it was a wonderful experience 😊. The location is great, near the city center in a quite area. The view from the terrace where you can take breakfats or enjoy a glass of wine during the evening - amazing. This is what I will miss the most. The staff is very friendly and helpful, although was difficult to understand how and when to check in and get the keys. The hotel is nice, clean and unique with the nice paintings on the walls, from a local artist. The room is nicely decorated, but too small. Compared to the room the bathroom is too big. Overall I enjoyed very much staying at the hotel, especially at the terrace 🤩

Room was small. Although the hotel offers things mostly found in a 4 star hotel: bathrobe, slippers, the feeling was that I'm in a 3 star hotel/room. Maybe it was the room I have received (23). Soon the hotel will need a renovation.

The bed was absolutely brilliant! Hard mattress, cloud-soft pillow, and very thick and heavy blanket, which wasn't hot though. And silence! Exactly what my tired body needed after a long ride! Oh my God, I can't thank you more, it was truly the best sleep in a last month! One more thank you for tea available later in the evening, unlimited and free of change ❤️

The only thing is that you need to go up the hill for some time, but it's not that far, and totally worth it

Great location. breakfast was tastefull, but limited in selection and might get boring after 4 days. The restaurant is small, so might be crowded in season, but there's also a nice outdoor terrace. The furnishing and looks is quite aristocratic/decadent, but it's not a 4 star experience. Definitelly better than 3 stars, but the price difference makes value for money not so great. Staff was always helpfull, but on friday/saturday evenings they prioritized external guests in resturant over the hotel guests. Overall we were satisfied with cleanliness, staff, wifi, heating compared to other hotels during our visit in Romania

The location is super central (5 mins by walk from old center) in a quiet place with a fantastic view over the mountains & city. From the very first moment when we arrived, the hosts welcomed us and offered to keep our luggage stored until our rooms were cleaned (we arrived earlier than expected). Also, they helped us with advices for renting a car and once we got the car, they did everything to ensure that we have a parking space. I enjoyed very much staying at Casa Cranta, the rooms were very clean and spacious with big windows and beautiful furniture that gave us a cosy feeling. Bathroom clean & shinny, proper towels and cosy bathrobs, also proper heating so even though outside was chilly (October), inside it was nice and warm. I really enjoyed everything about Casa Cranta and I will surely recommend it! Big thank you to the hosts who were always nice and helpful! Multumesc!

Everything was perfect, nothing to dislike.

The hotel is located on a hill and offers a nice view from the room balcony on the city and surrounding hills. Our room was very spacious consisting of two areas for our double bed and in the living room area was the sleeper couch for our daughter. Nice decorated room with classic touch. Bathroom also quite roomy. Breakfast was nice and very friendly reception staff! Thank you, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel

Maybe add a shower curtain:)

The hotel itself is located halfway uphill in a quiet zone neighboring the historical center. Uphill: have to walk there after beating the city streets's '' :-( // views are great :-) We got a lovely room with a small balcony in a high floor. Lots of light, fresh air, the views... Full equipped bathroom and a comfy bed. Hotel has a cafeteria/restaurant with outdoors terrace in the ground floor. It is a pity we didn´t have time to use it.

I didn´t like not staying another night there. Too short for the beatiful city of Brasov and for that charming hotel, which we couldn´t enjoy properly.

Casa Cranta is a nice four-star hotel in a central part of Brasov. It is within 15 minute walk to the Old Town (where the Black Church is, for example) and within the same walking distance to Livada Postei where the bus to Poiana Brasov departs from. We decided to only tourist by foot or Uber (Uber is quite affordable in Brasov) to not have the worry of the car, which stayed in the parking at Casa Cranta for our entire stay. We spent two nights at Casa Cranta, one night in the 'Deluxe Suite' and the other night in the 'Standard Suite'. Whilst both are gorgeous and offer a balcony with views over Brasov and Tampa mountains, our favourite was the 'Deluxe Suite' as it had a large living room with a beautiful six seat conference like table and many windows which gave it a touch of elegance and sophistication. Both suites have large baths with jacuzzi, the 'Deluxe Suite' jacuzzi has extra features. We arrived late at the accommodation. We were hungry. The restaurant menu is not vegan friendly yet we spoke with the guy at the reception and he arranged for us to receive some grilled vegetables and fries, our dinner was very tasty and we appreciated that they facilitated our dietary requirements. We wished to get room service for our dinner which was facilitated by staff. Lastly, staff are very polite, friendly and accommodating. The guy at the reception recommended us two vegan places for brunch and cakes. We will definitely be back and we recommend Casa Cranta.

This hotel stands out from my touring in Europe. It feels like a family run establishment that is well cared for. Attention to detail has been taken across the board. Excellent staff, view/room, location, food, coffee. It is a charming hotel. The decor and furniture is tasteful. Great Value!! I really enjoyed my stay it was GREAT!

I wasn't in love with the bed. I would have liked a nice comfortable chair in the room. That would have been awesome.

Very good location, 10 minutes walking to the centre of the old town. Nice view from the 3rd floor. Parking. Nice room and comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Beautiful terrace at the ground level to relax and have breakfast/coffee with view in good weather. Very friendly and helpful staff. All in all this was a great stay and good value for money.
