The hotel is located close to the old town area, you can visit this cozy corner on foot. The transport interchange is also very good. The staff is very responsive and pleasant, ready to answer all your questions, tell you where you can eat deliciously, where to go. The hotel provides breakfasts in the style of a buffet. Water, tea, coffee are constantly available in the rest room. It is important to read the description of the hotel, they warn in advance that there is no elevator, you will have to go up the spiral staircase, this did not scare us, because we read it in the information written here. The rooms are cozy, clean, equipped with air conditioning. We were satisfied, great thanks to the staff❤️

Amazing stay, we booked last minute (I was on the plane when I booked :D ) and I got a confirmation straight away, they provided a code for self check in since we arrived at 1am, the room was clean and tidy, it had everything we needed. Breakfast was small but good, coffee and tea was available all day long. Bear in mind that there are 3 flights or stairs, if you have mobility issues is not recommended but we had no problems. The best thing during our stay was meeting Mila, the amazing lady at breakfast, she was so helpful and made us feel like home. Спасибо за вашу доброту, было очень приятно познакомиться )))

Everything was good

Good location, very comfortable and nice place overall. The free breakfast was a nice addition as well as free water machine and coffee. The staff were lovely. Good for solo travellers. Quiet place with only a few rooms but you can sometimes hear people walking outside your room. There are loads of steps but wasn't a issue for me and they did say in the description.

I had an incident when I arrived late, I had to self check in. The keys were left in the door for me but When I got to the room I found the keys were already inside. Then I found someone had got into my room and pooped. They left poo and smeared all across the outside of the toilet bowl!! And there were even stains on the door!! Don't ask me how someone could possibly do this. The smell was horrendous, I messaged the contact straight away and sent a picture on WhatsApp, the cleaner came within 5 minutes and cleaned up. She was very nice and quick. It was unfortunate this happened as the place was lovely, nothing to do with staff or hotel itself but did start with a negative experience.

I stayed in a single room, which was small but had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of Upstairs Boutique is the large and spacious common area that guests can use as a workspace. It's perfect for those who need to get some work done during their stay. Additionally, the access to a fantastic coffee machine, tea, and other refreshments made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's central location in Bucharest is also a major plus, making it easy to explore the city.Overall, Upstairs Boutique is a great choice for solo travelers or anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped place to stay with excellent amenities.

The only downside is that the hotel might be challenging for guests who have difficulty climbing stairs, as there is no elevator available.

Amazing location in Bucharest downtown. Wonderful personal, all workers, real professionals, and a really pleasant people. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Real extra is free coffee, tea, and juice per all day. For me, it's very important because I drink 5-6 cups of tea per day. The bad was very comfortable, and the matrass was perfect.

Stairs to the hotel were a little high. You needed to get up to 3 floor. I'm 41 old man, for me it's not a problem. But if you are old or have a little baby, it's an option not for you.

I'm so happy that I've chosen this hotel. I was looking through several options where I can stay for a few days in Bucharest, I wanted to pick a decent, safe, not expensive single room in the city-center. So I decided on Upstairs Boutique, and it exactly met my criteria! Though I usually don't write reviews, but I'm Very satisfied!!! The room is clean, comfortable, white linens, towels, comfortable bed with orthopedic mattress – great rest for my back! And it included a buffet breakfast—hearty, tasty and varied - all I needed. There is a recreation area with soft sofas + water, coffee/tea à volonté (all for free :)) 24/7/ And most importantly, the staff! Many thanks to the administrator - polite, welcoming, helpful and friendly, THANK YOU!!! Definitely recommend this hotel and will come again!

I should definitely consider taking less luggage next time. Though, walking one floor upstairs was not really an issue, even without a lift. And the courtyard garden could have more plants...

Amazing location for those who love to walk around the town-close to old town,buses and restaurants.Breakfast was typical eastern European so couldn't complain as Im used to it and you could use tea ,coffee machine till 10pm .Room was good size and bed was comfortable.

My wifi stopped working after first day ,but as I was in and out whole day I didnt manage to ask reception. Also I was staying for 4 nights but there was nobody cleaning room,I didnt mind as I was alone but I guess when there is 2 people you would run out of toilet paper and need clean towels.

The location is perfect, city center, safe area. The building is under refurbishment but almost finished now. Nice staff. Small room but so clean and comfortable. Good shower. Good breakfast (apple, cooking food, juice, coffee, cheese, ham.... Nice breakfast room. Free coffee and tea were available in the breakfast room during the day from 7:00 to 22:00.

For me, no elevator and climbing a lot of stairs was not a problem, for some people, it can be a problem. The duvet was short for the bed. No blinds in the window only curtains.

I liked the staff, it was clean and comfortable, breakfast was adequate and the coffee was good. The location is fantastic, I would stay again, and there is a handy convenience shop directly opposite.

This is no representation of the hotel. The other side of the hotel is having repair/scaffold work, the builders start 7am, they are so noisy with conversations between themselves. They should respect that people pay to stay at the hotel and talk quieter. It was terrible, I had to put my TV on to down the noise so early in the morning, and I couldn't keep my window open as the noise was unbearable. The Monday they started at 06:30am. I do think the hotel staff should have advised them to be quieter so early as I am sure guests complained.

The location is great, 5 minutes walk from Universitate metro station. Less than 10 minute walk to old town, about 15 minutes to the Parliamanent Palace. Friendly staff Good selection of food for breakfast Tea and coffee is available 24/7 in the common area

It is not easy to find. There are no signs on the street. There is a lot of stairs to climb - definitely not suitable for people with mobility problems or very heavy luggage
