The building itself, the headquarter of a former old bank is absolutely gorgeous and I really appreciate that they kept the style and the design from those old times in the lobby, restaurant and bar. We also really enjoyed the Vault bar, it is worth visiting even if you are not staying at the hotel - the cocktails were expensive but special but the design of the bar is what makes the experience worth it (it is placed in the actual vault of the former bank). The spa, although it was rather small, was very clean and well equipped and the massages were also very good. The rooms were very tall, bed was very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. Location is great, in the city center, close to everything. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very polite, the place looks amazing, the cocktails were great and the spa facilities were nice. Moreover, the location is great because there are great coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

I stayed there for 3 days and I expected the cleaning services to clean my room after the first night, but it never happened until I left and it's not that it was a mess or anything, but I expected this to happen since the stay there costs a great amount of money. I was in the room when they first came, at about 10.30 AM, but they said they would come back later and I left the room in the following 10 minutes and came back at 10 PM and nobody came back.

Best hotel in Bucharest! looks great, everything is in a walking distance! it has a nice lovely unique cocktail bar!

The staff - not something I would have expect from a five stars hotel. The staff were extremely impolite, and didn’t feel as they want to serve or work, at all. They do you a favor by even talking with you.

Probably the most beautiful hotel in Bucharest. Stunning interior! The bar inside the hotel is also a must see!

Our view from the room was not great whilst I don’t think any of the rooms has nice views. We felt safe in the area but most properties around the hotel looked like they were already or almost falling apart. Also there was a bit of an odd smell in the room

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the spa was great, the vault bar was brilliant too.

I was asked to pay a deposit upon arrival, which was more than the total cost for our stay. We were not expecting this and did not have the funds ready on the bank card we planned to use.

The building is incredibly beautiful - an impressive bank built 1923 and sympathetically restored/remodelled. The staff are excellent - thoughtful and professional. Rooms have high ceilings and are sumptuously fitted. Just on the edge of the old town - close but quiet.

The outdoor hotel restaurant/cafe plays rather loud music until midnight. Noise insulation is good, nevertheless.

I think that if I pay 200 euros per night, I should not be placed in a room where I can hear the fans installed outside the window.

The hotel is stunning and decorated so wonderfully for the festive period. The Christmas tree is a delight. The entrance with the chandeliers is really something special. The breakfast was outstanding. I enjoyed the omelette station and also enjoyed ordering fresh hot waffles and fruit. The pastries and juice were fresh. The staff were courteous and helpful aside from check in experience.

Our check in experience was sadly quite poor as a result of two people at reception feeling interrupted midway chatting. They also behaved slightly stunned that we would be staying there and made us feel less than. We had to ask for everything ie details of breakfast, where the spa was, how to take the lift to our room etc. we later noticed other guests were not having to ask. This was quite a bad first impression but luckily the other staff were courteous and helpful for the rest of our stay.

The hotel is fabulous. The spa & the vault bar are so nice but what makes this hotel is the staff. The reception staff, management, cleaner’s and door staff were all so lovely. The rooms are really modern and the toiletries are the white company. The pool & spa area is outstanding. The location is perfect. I would not stay anywhere else if I visited Bucharest again. Couple of tips when visiting Bucharest. 1) Use Uber it is really reasonable. You can order a Uber from the airport & just cross the road into the carpark you will pay £15 compared to the £50 for a cab from the rank. 2) The traffic is bad so allow extra time for all journeys. 3) A visit to Therme is a must.

The only thing this 5* lacks is the small touches like a chocolate on the pillow

The hotel lobby is looking amazing. Rooms are not too big but have very high ceiling (4 m) The location if the hotel is excellent, supper close to everything. Check out at 12 which is great.

The pool and saunas are very crowded in some times of the evening, there are no beds left. In the morning it's very relaxed and not busy. Everything that the hotel offers for extra money is overpriced (lobby bar, mini bar,spa treatments).
