The location of the hotel is fantastic, right next to the main attractions in Sibiu. It’s located in the pedestrian area, but you can easily find parking at 5 min walk. The room was very nice and clean, with a very beautiful view. We also liked that we had a coffee machine in the room, which is a big plus for people who like to have a coffee first thing in the morning. Breakfast was good and the personnel very kind. I can totally recommend this place.

The water pressure could be better. Also, there’s no elevator in the building, which is not necessary an issue, but should be taken into consideration if you have a heavy luggage.

The property was visibly clean was big with a wooden floor. It had a mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities (no milk which is usual so we take our own and put in minibar), a safe and a hairdryer. It also had a tv with access to Netflix. Our room was up some stairs which was not ideal with large suitcases but getting them down was easier. The location was perfect out of the door and a number of restaurants/attractions. Within walking distance of everything you could want. The taxi driver dropped us at the bottom of the steps and said we had to walk up them to access the hotel. This was untrue you can access the hotel easily without using the steps. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would be happy to stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing not to like about this property.

This hotel was perfectly located near the Bridge of Lies. We had a small apartment on the second floor - the rooms were large! There are some nice feature for TV viewing and listening to music. The bathroom is especially nice and toiletries provided are very good. We were comfortable here for our 4 night stay. It's in a very convenient location for shopping and dining.

There is no elevator in this historic building. The stairs are steep and curving so it might be an issue with heavy luggage. The Ikea-style furniture isn't very comfortable and in some rooms awkwardly placed - a small coffee table in the main room would be nice.

The property is situated in Piata Mica, right in the city center, close to the Liers Bridge & other points of interest in the city. The suite that I booked was on the 2nd floor of the building, newly renovated. It was absolutely cosy, with a great ambiance. They also provide free water, coffee & tea in the room but you also have a mini bar with decent prices. The view from the windows was nice as well. The staff was polite & friendly. Breakfast is simple & tasty.

The hot water in the shower took some time to get hot.

Casa Luxemburg is a wonderful hotel located in the heart of Sibiu, Romania. This hotel is a perfect choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in a central location. We loved the room as soon as we walked in! We had the delux king bed and let me tell you, it was a dream! The room is HUGE, with wrap around windows, work desk and a wonderful bathroom! Pure white sheets and towels. Cristina works the front desk and the breakfast area. She was the nicest person; very helpful, kind, smart and always with a big smile on her face! Great job!!! We will definitely come back here while in Romania!

Unfortunately, there is no elevator. But we got used to the stairs quickly :-)

I don't usually write reviews but I had to this time. My room here (22) was exceptional. Large for European standards, beautiful furniture, large bathroom, a nespresso machine, glassware (no paper cups here, thank you), a view of the church. Very clean. Accomodating, friendly staff. Quite lovely. 10 out of 10.

My mattress was ok, but not great.

Can't recommend this enough! This really is the standard of a 4* hotel for the price of 3*! The room is beautiful, has all the amenities, with view to the central square. Despite us arriving quite early, they made an extra effort to allow us checking in 2 hours early. Much appreciated!

The reception isn't staffed all day, which is understandable given they only have 6 rooms. Nevertheless it created some challenges for luggage drop off and first arrival. They got some wires crossed regarding the breakfast times - were told by the receptionist it starts at 07:30, but when we arrived in the morning, the kitchen staff only got there by 8... Which was a bit challenging as we needed to catch a train and might have made other arrangements had we been informed correctly the day before. But despite needing to eat in a rush, the breakfast was very tasty!

Great new appliances, furniture. Nice smell in the hotel. Cozy rooms and great bathroom. Comfortable bed, coffee, tea, water and slippers are available. Speakers and Netflix in the room. We were checked in few hours before actual check in time. Breakfast - basic, few options of eggs, bacon and cheese, bread, some vegetables, cereals.

What’s not to like about this property? It’s situated right in the heart of the city. Thank you giving us a chance to live in such a beautifully maintained historic home. I love how the ownership perfectly mixed the older architectural elements and the contemporary ones in a state of the art fusion. Absolutely loving it! Well done
